And I'm at it again. I have lots of free time right now, thanks to my surgery. This is yet another work that is being transferred from paper... :( I am having fun trying to make it interesting, and something different that I haven't seen before. There are some made-up characters along with some history. Not everything is precisely accurate but I did try some research before writing about the past.

Here is the full summary since it was too long for once 😅:

It was a normal day, as normal as they got for Hermione. However, what started as a normal day turned into being thrown into the past, the year 1065 to be exact. To make matters worse she has to deal not only with Blaise but Draco. But, having to work together makes them have to set aside their differences. Facing problems that she never thought she'd have to face again, at least not yet. Along with new information coming to light that will have her question her past. Yet, the biggest problem is whether will she be able to find a way back home while dealing with this new world. It will be a whirlwind of time!

"Ginny, why do you insist you drag me through shops? You know my dislike for shopping."

"I know! You also know I'm going on my fourth date with Blaise!" Ginny smiled brightly

"Yes, because you haven't shut up about it. How could that have left my mind." Hermione answered, sarcasm penetrating her tone. Not necessarily approving of the relationship that was blooming. Clear that Ginny and Harry were not meant to be, their constant disputes and late-night calls to her were enough.

"Stop. I know you're thinking of how much you dislike him."

"Dislike does not cover it. More of hate for him."

"Why do you feel the need to use hate? I know you reserve that term for a select few things." Ginny spoke, trying to get her friend to be more open-minded. "Plus, Harry is friends with him."

Sending an eye roll to her friend, "Harry can be friends with whomever he would like. Not to change the subject, but could you hurry along? I don't want to be late for work."

Hearing Ginny laugh, continuing to browse at her own pace. "I don't think anyone would mind!"

"I'm next in line for director! I mind!" Not hearing her friends snickering, Ginny moved to the next rack...

It had been seven years now that Voldemort had finally been defeated. Returning for the seventh year with Harry, who didn't need to, she earned the title of head girl. They both had job offers, but she couldn't deny the chance to graduate from school. Blaise was chosen as head boy, he did what he needed to but grudges were hard to get rid of. Being a Slytherin from their year automatically had them blacklisted. As for Ron, he was offered numerous jobs. Taking a professional quidditch position, accepting that he could graduate from school.

Now Ginny, Harry, and herself had graduated and moved into their professions. Taking a position within the Department of Magical Law Enforcement was a dream come true for herself. Harry had accepted a position as an Auror, which was perfect for him. Ginny had joined the Holy Harpies, enjoying every moment including the additional fame that came with it. She had worked hard to move up the ranks, earning new positions every couple of years. Ginny had even started her own part-time business offering lessons to students during the summer months. Hermione would lend a hand with the behind-the-scenes processes. It was mainly the accounting, as Ginny had expressed that she had been struggling.

As for the relationship between Ron and herself, they were now nothing more than two people that knew each other. They had tried a relationship after the spur-of-the-moment kiss. However, the relationship didn't last spiraling out of control. After that, Hermione moved to live a quiet life. Well, there were moments that flared. Like the times she would help the Aurors out, finding objects from the previous wars. They weren't considered highlights, as it would mean dealing with Blaise and the dreaded Malfoy.

Peering at her watch, to get her out of memory lane. "Alright Gin, I have to go. Stop by the office at lunch, I have a quick meeting. It won't last long and then we can go for lunch." Hermione grabbed her friend's attention

Seeing her friend sigh in defeat, "Fine, just leave me to decide on my own."

"If only I could make my own hours like you." Hermione teased, "I'll make it shopping with you at some point!" Leaving with that statement to the designated apparition spot, something that Kingsly had put into effect. Once at her office, arriving right on time rather than early as she normally chose to, and getting to work right away. Losing track of time, as per usual with the lack of awareness of what was happening around her.

"Hermione?" Hearing her name, she looked up startled to see her guest.

Peering at her clock, the morning hours flew by. As they normally did. "Hi Harry, I just finished up the paperwork on the object." Harry nodded, looking at Ginny and back to her. "It's your call. You've overseen this, I was merely an accomplice."

Watching her friend do the necessary steps to keep their conversation as private as possible. Watching Harry turn to the only ginger in the room, explaining that nothing left this room. Ginny swore on it.

"Alright, now we understand the severity of it. Where we are placing this object, it is known by only a select few people. We were selected due to being the ones that found it."

"What is it?" Ginny asked

"It is a knife that Voldemort or some of his followers had cursed. Our curse breakers cannot break it, so we are placing it in a secure location. If it encounters muggles or even muggle-born, it is a slow painful death that cannot be treated or worse they end up going insane. We are unsure of other uses; however, we don't want to try and figure it out. It needs to be placed in a secure area and forgotten about until we can figure out how to destroy it."

"Damn, how'd you find this all?"

"Hermione is the one to have read about it, then we started to investigate together. Slowly, we started gathering location and took it to Kingsly who set up this team to infiltrate a small gathering of former followers where they were torturing muggles." Harry's tone full of disgust

"He still has a following after these years?"

"There will always be a following, we just have to do what we can to stop it before it gets as bad as previous times." Nodding, "If we are set, we should get going."

"One more question," Ginny spoke, halting the group's movement

"What is it, Ginny?" Hermione asked annoyed

"Why are you all involved? It seems like you'd want to be more inconspicuous."

"With there being a select few of us that know about it, Kingsly wants to ensure that it gets to it's location."

"I'm now just a tag-along. Fun!" Ginny's sarcasm came out

Harry sighed rubbing his face. "You said you wouldn't say anything."

"I'm not going to but groaning while possible is mandatory." Rolling their eyes, knowing that she had to always make some sort of comment

"Let's go get this done," Hermione spoke standing up, they remained friends after the breakup but the bickering remained. At least it no longer required late-night or early-morning calls.

The object was on Blaise's person, heading out of the office. They looked around, noticing the lack of people around. Normally this was a bustling time, people were rushing to take their lunch. Heightening their alert, they began on their way. Harry moved to walk beside Hermione, continuing to look over his shoulder.

"It wasn't like this twenty minutes ago. Something doesn't seem right." Harry spoke softly. Nodding, understanding her friend's worry. "Hermione why don't you move to the front, I'll have them surround Blaise. I'll be at the back. Try to move quickly, but don't draw attention." Earning a nod, he moved back beginning to speak with the rest of the group. Getting them into position, "If anything goes wrong, follow Hermione. She knows this area best."

Hurrying as quickly as possible, they were encountering the same eeriness as the rest of the corridors. Harry noticed that Hermione was taking the long way around, it seemed their thinking was the same again. Slowing to turn, it appeared to be safe. That wasn't the case. Harry was the first to react, having a shield erected.

"Hermione, get to a safe room. Wait as long as you can for me." Harry ordered

"Shouldn't we wait for you?" Ginny asked, "Who is firing within the ministry?"

"Now's not the time! Go!" Harry yelled, "Malfoy, Blaise protect the object."

Hermione nodded, saying something that made no sense to the others but turned and took off with the others following. Leading them on a wild goose chase it felt, she finally saw the door she wanted. Starting the process of opening it, she pushed the others in waiting for a sighting of Harry. Watching both directions, she saw Harry running in her direction. Closing the door behind them, both working on locking spells and a couple of protective spells. Hoping to bide them some time.

"Who knows how long these will last, we need to figure out what is going on."

"You're the smartest, you figure it out Granger." Draco spoke arms crossed

"Shut up ferret." Hermione spat back

"Don't call me ferret."

"Don't tell me what to do-."

Harry moved to stand between them, "Both of you shut up! Merlin, we're in imminent danger and your first instinct is to fight amongst ourselves? Get over yourselves. Why this room?"

"It is a protected room on its own, so adding our spells should give us more time. It is where the time turners are kept, worked on, and such. This is nothing to what it used to be."

"Okay. Good idea; however, there is no exit. So, we'll have to fight our way out of here." Harry spoke up

"I know, but we were down here anyways. There are no ways out down here, we were sitting ducks. I got us to a room that would give us time to plan, so let's do that. Did you get to see who was chasing after us?"

"I can't believe it, but I think I saw Nott. I'm not sure who he had with him. They couldn't find him, so everyone assumed him to be dead. But he made a point to ensure that I could see him, and the scar that is on his forearm." Turning towards the door hearing spells ricocheting off the door

Beginning to pace the small quarters, trying to figure the situation out. "Granger, you have a plan don't you?" Draco spoke

"To an extent, yes."

"Okay, well then let's go."

"It's not that easy Malfoy, there are probabilities and such to go over."

"Fuck probabilities. Either we go down fighting or we come out winners."

Scowling at the man before her, moving to a side wall. Tapping the wall in the sequence taught to her, moving to allow the group in. Shutting the door, moving to start looking at the few time turners on the wall and on the desk. Hearing Blaise ask the question she assumed Ginny would, "How do you know this room so well?"

"I've been helping in my free time to restore some of the history. Plus, I'm one of the few witches of our time to have traveled time for a period."

Hearing the opposing door blast open, put some pep in her step. Trying to determine what turner was what, she had the basic knowledge, but these were older than what she'd read on and even used.

"What are you looking for?" Ginny finally piped in, standing beside Blaise

"It's not what I'm looking for as much as determining what one would work best in our situation. We must be careful, the maximum time period that someone has traveled to is five years. Any more can cause problems that have yet to be determined." Hearing spells hitting this door, Hermione hurried her search. Grabbing the eldest of the group, "Everyone grab onto one another and then to me. Pray to Merlin that we only go back a few minutes."

Hope you enjoyed it! Please leave it lots of love if you did but this is just the start of the crazy story. Until next time, stay safe and love yourself 3 ~DQ
