Padme lay on the birthing table giving birth to her children. "Luke! "She called her son after he was born. "Leia!" She said when her daughter was born. The babies cried as Padme was dying. She looked at Obiwan. "There is still good in him. I can feel it. "Padme groaned as she died.
Padme found herself standing in a misty white area naked. She quickly realized where she was. A figure was approaching her. It was Qui Gon Jinn. "Qui Gon I never expected to see you here. "Padme said. "I knew along that you were an angel. Why else would you want to head into Mos Espa as a handmaiden. "Qui Gon said. "I didn't even know at the time. My memory was wiped when I was born as Padme Naberrie Amidala until I died. "Padme said. "Those arrogant fools! Treating Anakin like a slave or a weapon. He needed love more than training. They didn't care how he felt about anything. All they did was sow the seed of hatred for the jedi order in him. They didn't even let him take the trials and hurt him by denying him the rank of master over politics. 'Qui Gon groaned.
"How could they be so mean to him? "Padme asked. "They were too arrogant to see the error in their ways. "Qui Gon answered. "I plan on helping raise my kids. I also plan on turning Anakin back to the light. "Padme said. "I would suggest you put something on. People may not like you running around naked. Anakin must have a favorite among your clothes. "Qui Gon said. Padme made a blue silk nightgown with beads around her arms appear on her body. She wore the necklace Anakin gave her.
Padme disappeared. Padme appeared at Lars Homestead on Tatooine as Owen and Beru had gone inside with Luke. Padme appeared in front of them. "Padme! How can you be here. You're dead. "Owen asked. "I am an angel now. I can take care of Luke. "Padme explained. "How can you help? "Beru asked. "I can nurse my own child. "Padme answered. "How will we find you? "Owen asked. "I am omnipresent. I will know when he needs me, and I will come. "Padme answered. Padme went into the bedroom of Owen and Beru where she nursed Luke.
"Anything you want us to do for Luke? "Beru asked. "Just keep him from being seen by the empire. "Padme answered. She finished nursing and covered up. She handed Luke to Beru. Padme disappeared suddenly.
On Alderaan Bail and Berha Organa were troubled by Leia's crying when Padme appeared. "Padme! We thought you were dead. "Bail reacted to her sudden appearance. "I am dead. I am an angel now. "Padme explained.
"How did you become one? "Berha asked. "I always was one. I didn't know until I died and regained my memories. I can take care of Leia. "Padme answered. Berha handed her Leia and Padme sat down and started nursing her. She heard another voice approaching. "I thought I heard the voice of a dead woman. "Mon Mothra said. "Mon! I didn't know you were here. "Padme replied. "Is it true you're an angel now? "Mon asked. "I always was I just didn't know it until I died. "Padme answered. "Maybe you can help us defeat the empire. "Mon said. "I can't really do much for you. However, I do have an idea. Could you get me a holo recorder? 'Padme asked. When Mon Mothra returned Padme suddenly changed into one of her senate dresses.
"You can change clothes in a flash now? "Mon asked. "Yes. Now it's time to cause some trouble for the Sith. "Padme said. Padme made her recording and let Mon put it on holonet. "I have to go. I will see you again everyone. "Padme said before she disappeared.
"This is senator Amidala speaking. If you are seeing this recording, then it means I am dead. I was killed by a Sith Lord named Darth Sidious whose real name is Palpatine. He manipulated my husband Anakin Skywalker into becoming Darth Vader. The jedi treated him horribly and denied him the rank of master over politics. What Palpatine did to him was much worse. He put visions of me dying in childbirth in Anakin's him to cause him to become consumed with fear and lied about learning the power to save me if he joined the Sith. Palpatine has been lying to everyone else as well. He doesn't want peace. He wants oppression. He is taking your freedom away. Stand up and fight against him now. "Padme said.
Padme disappeared afterward. The Sith were watching the transmission on a star destroyer. "It is a trick. "Palpatine groaned. "Padme was quite resourceful. "Vader added. "So, what. This is still a trick of hers. "Palpatine replied. "A trick you say. I don't think so. "A voice said from behind. They turned around to see Padme floating a little off the floor with the bottom of her night gown blowing as in a wind.
"Padme! How are you here? "Vader asked. "Your dead lady! "Palpatine shouted. "Yes, I am dead, and you killed me Sidious. I am an angel, and I always was. That is why I am here. "Padme explained. "What did you do to him? Why didn't you treat his wounds properly and give him better limbs? "Padme asked. "He failed to defeat Obi Wan Kenobi and that is his punishment. "Palpatine growled. "Stupid reason to hurt him moron!" Padme shouted. Padme flew into Palpatine's head. "Get out of my mind. I know you're laughing at me under that mask Vader. "Palpatine groaned.
"What is she doing? "Vader asked. "I have no idea. "Palpatine groaned. Padme came out of Palpatine and was panting like a dog. "Are you alright? "Vader asked. "Serves you right for poking around in my head. "Palpatine growled. "So dark in there. "Padme groaned. "What were you looking for? "Vader asked Padme. "The power to save me so he would live up to his end of the bargain. I didn't find it and I wasn't surprised either. "Padme explained. Padme flew into Darth Vader's mind. "Now she is in your head Lord Vader. "Palpatine said.
Padme flew through Vader's mind until she found Anakin trapped in a corner by the darkside. 'Padme help me!" Anakin cried. Vader arrived and Padme force pushed him away. "Anakin you have to break free of the dark side's control. I can't do it for you. "Padme explained. "Palpatine lied to me. He said he could teach me how to save you and he didn't. "Anakin groaned. "The Sith lie all the time. He used me to get a vote of no confidence against chancellor Valorum. He even tried to mind trick me and it didn't work. "Padme explained. "I can't fight him. "Anakin groaned. "You have to use love to find the strength to beat him Ani. "Padme said. She kissed Anakin and left. Padme reappeared in front of both Sith.
"Anakin is still in there. How dare you corrupt him like that when there were over a 1000 other jedi you could have picked on. "Padme said. "His destiny was to rebuild the Sith and rule the galaxy. "Palpatine shouted. "Wrong as usual. He is supposed to bring balance to the force. "Padme replied. Padme force pushed Palpatine into a wall. "How dare you! "Palpatine shouted as he got back up. Palpatine fired force lightning at Padme "Unlimited Power! "He shouted. The lightning went right through Padme. Palpatine tried to force choke her and it didn't work. Padme yawned "I have better things I could be doing right now. "Palpatine ignited his lightsaber, and it passed through her. "Give it up already. You can't hurt me or kill me. "Padme said. "You can't hide anything from me either as I am omnipresent. "Padme said as she vanished. "She will be destroyed like the jedi. "Palpatine groaned. "I heard that. "Padme's voice called from nowhere.
Obiwan sat in his cave on Tatooine when Padme appeared in front of him. "Padme! Where did you come from and how? You're dead. "Obiwan said. "I died like you saw on Polis Massa. I am an angel and always was. Qui gon knew I was. "Padme said. "I failed you like I failed Satine. "Obiwan groaned. "Satine is an angel as well. "Padme said. "Why doesn't she visit me like you? "ObiWan asked. "She cries all the time because you turned your back on her on Mandalore rather than go against the stupid code. "Padme replied. "Anakin had a lust for power and that is why he fell. "Obiwan explained. "No, it wasn't. He was manipulated by Palpatine. Palpatine put visions in his head of me dying in childbirth and then told Anakin if he joined him, they could learn the power to save me. That was a lie. All because you stupid high and mighty jedi wouldn't help him and denied him a rank over politics. "Padme groaned. "I trained him by the code. "Obiwan shouted. "The code was wrong for him and Qui Gon knew it. He was never going to fit your stupid mold of a perfect jedi and you knew it. He saw you get what ever you wanted from the jedi on a silver platter while he had to work harder to prove himself because Qui Gon said he was the chosen one when he should have been trained like any other jedi and loved him. None of you on the council cared how Anakin felt about being denied the rank of master and you should have. You treated him like a slave and a weapon even after he was freed from slavery on Taooine. He never got to take the trials which he should have. Palpatine is laughing at you. "Padme warned. "I didn't know any better how could I when the code was used for centuries. "Obiwan explained. "Jedi code? That's a standard cop out for when you are in trouble. Anakin never took the trials, he spent too much time with a Sith Lord, and a jedi code that's good for what? Well, it's good for creating Sith lords. "Padme groaned. "What do they call it when you kill people? "Padme asked. "I didn't know any better. I wanted Anakin to be happy. "Obiwan screamed. "Now my children won't be raised in a loving home. We were going to live on Naboo in the castle where we fell in love. "There is still good in him. Anakin is trapped by Darth Vader in his own body. "Once one falls to the dark side they are gone. "ObiWan sobbed. "You're dealing in absolutes just like the Sith. Anakin can be saved. How do I know you would train my children like him? "Padme asked. "The code has changed. "Obiwan said. "I hope so and you are going to train them both. I don't want you just fixating on Luke and leaving Leia untrained. "Padme said. "I am sorry Padme. I knew you were romantically involved with Anakin, but I didn't know you were married. "Obiwan sobbed. "Do you suffer from autism Obiwan? "Padme asked. "Not that I know of. "Obiwan answered. "I will be around and watching you. "Padme warned and then she disappeared.
