Jack kang looks at me . I don't know what to say. He is the leader of Candor . I am just a temporary ambassador assigned by dauntless to Candor . My husband soon to be Alan Davis also has to be tested . Alan shakes his head at me
"It's okay Delia." Alan says
"Okay." I give up.
Jack kang looks around . Alan steps forward
"I will go first. I am in leadership." Alan says very seriously
"Then you go first." Jack kang nods at him
Alan walks toward the centre of the room. Edgar wants to insert him.
"Stop, I have to do it. I am the ambassador for Candor still." I walk toward him.
I take the truth serum from him. Alan looks at me . I insert the needle into his neck carefully. Alan is shivering.
"Let the truth set you free." Jack kang claps his hand
I can see that Alan is already dizzy. He isn't divergent so he can't control the serum. However is that the truth? Someone who can fight serum are not necessary to be divergent.
Which mean as long as he has a strong mental stability, then he has the chance to fight it.
"What's your name ?" Jack kang asks
"Alan Davis ." Alan says calmly
"Where did you transferred ." Jack kang smirks
Alan was a transfer? I didn't know that. I thought that he was dauntless born
"I transferred from Candor ." Alan answers
"Do you know that max and Jeanine are doing it?" Jack kang walks back and forth
"I know it ." Alan nods at him
He knows that they are doing it? Where didn't he leave?
"If you already know it, why don't you leave ?" Jack kang frowns
"I wanted to leave the two years before the attack. However , I met Delia and I fall in love with her . I can't leave her alone . She is divergent and I was trying to protect her ." Alan sighs.
"Did you killed any of your fellow dauntless!" Jack kang asks
Alan shakes his head . He was in the control room
"No , however I did attacked Delia when I was under the simulation but she woke me up." Alan cries." I nearly killed my loved one."
"Thank you for your honesty. The result for your trial is that you are not guilty for the attack." Jack kang sighs
"Thank you for your honesty ." All Candor starts to chant.
Edgar looks at us . I know that he hates Alan and he wants him to die .
"He is a liar. He can fight the simulation." Edgar screams
"I can see that he is fighting or not. No matter who fight it, he will be in pain Edgar ." Jack kang smirks." Don't forget that I have the absolute authority in Candor ."
Alan steps to my side . Now is max . Max walks to the centre . Sasha is looking at him.
"Edgar you can do this one ." I shake my head." Sasha you should go back . You are pregnant again."
"Again? Sasha don't playing with me ." Alan is shocked
I know that he is worried about his sister . Edgar inserts the needle into Max's neck
"May the truth set you free." Jack kang repeats
Max is already shivering . He is under the control.
"So max we all know that you help Jeanine takes down the Chicago. Even you forced Alan Davis and Sam to work with you. Do you think that is justify?" Jack kang asks
"Of course , people are sheep. When they don't listen , they need to be slaughtered." Max laughs coldly
"Did you ever think about Sasha?" I walk beside Jack kang.
Max looks at me . He is crying. I know that he loves her
"Of course but I am mafia boss of dauntless. I have to protect those people away from divergent. I have to give up something ." Max shouts
Evelyn comes up. She looks at me arrogantly.
"The justice will be done." Evelyn nudges Jack kang
"No , Evelyn you have no right to decide his fate ." Jack kang argues." He born in dauntless and he will be dead in dauntless."
"Jack kang who are you sided with!" Evelyn is surprised
I look at ted . Ted kicks Edgar on the ground . He yanks max to the side
"I am sided with faction system. I believe faction before blood." Jack kang looks at me
"Alan brings max back . You have the authority to decide that he is alive or dead." Jack kang waves at us." I will deal with it.
"Thank you Jack ." I smile at him ." Sasha we are going ."
Sasha comes downstair . Alan holds my hand and walks me out of the factionless headquarter .
"Alan, one more thing." I stop right there.
"Yes Delia, what do you want?" Alan grabs my face
"Can you please save Caleb. He is at least my brother ." I cry.
Alan sighs with disappointment. I know that is a hard decision.
"Ted ." Alan nods at ted
"I will come back in a few minute." Ted gives max to four .
"Be careful ." I say
I and Alan escort max back the compound . Sasha is crying. Tris and Maria welcome us in.
Tris helps Sasha stands .
"Sasha calm down. You still have a kid ." Tris is calm her down
"Yeah right mom." Four sits beside Sasha." You still have Charlie and now you are having another one."
"I know but I never know that max will do it." Sasha is screaming
Alan looks at max . He punched him on his face
"You asshole. You broke the rule ." Alan points at him." You know that right? We are not supposed to be so close with other faction members . You even form a conspiracy plan with Jeanine ."
"I am sorry. I didn't know the truth. Jeanine said that divergent is going to destroy the world . I am sorry Alan." Max is begging." Sasha needs me . The kids need me ."
"I don't need you. I can feed the babies myself ." Sasha stands up.
Sasha is so calm. I grab her arms .
"Babies need a father. How are you going to explain this ?" Max grabs her hand
"I will tell them that their father is dead."
Sasha breaths heavily. I know that she is still sad .
"Don't kill him." I say
"What?" Alan frowns
"Exile him." I shake my head." That is more painful than dying."
Alan looks at max . Max says nothing. Alan agrees with my decision
"Yeah go ahead." Alan waves at the soldier ." Throw him out."
"Yes sir ." Soldier grabs max and drags him out
Sasha kneels down . I see the blood is dripping out.
"We need to send her to hospital." I scream
Four is so worried . He holds Sasha up. We start running
"We shouldn't let her go watch that." I regret
"She needs to know the truth Delia." Alan wraps his arms around me." It's not your fault."
"It is . I allow her to go. She shouldn't know it." I run faster
We send Sasha to hospital. Doctor pushes her into the surgery room
"Why you didn't kill max." Alan asks." He killed your parent."
"I didn't want to be as murderous as he was . Exile is going to torture him more." I lower my head
"I am sorry Delia. I didn't protect your parent." Alan sighs
I shake my head . Alan kisses my forehead
"It's okay Alan." I rest my head on his chest.
" we will wait her ." Alan cries
I start to throw up. Tris and Maria come to check on me
"What is wrong?" Maria is worried
"I just feel nauseous. It already keeps going for so many days." I shake my head
"Did your period comes?" A doctor walks toward us
I shake my head . It is late for a month. Doctor nods at me
"You can check with us . Maybe you are pregnant." Doctor smiles at us
"Really? Yeah just check her out please." Alan is excited .
Doctor checks out for me . She happily announces that I am a mom now
" when did you find out !" Alan hugs me
" it starts to react like this yesterday. I didn't notice that." I put a hand on my stomach
"It's so dangerous Delia." Four complains
I know that if i wasn't careful, then I will kill my own baby.
"Yeah I know that . I am sorry Alan." I sigh
"It's fine . Four stop saying that ." Alan looks at four
Sasha is out. Nurse shakes her head .
"The baby is dead." Nurse lowers her head." We are sorry."
"How is the mom." I ask
"She is good. She will wake up soon. However she can't be over emotion." Nurse sighs
I know that Sasha will be super sad but I have to control it.
"Thank you." I nod at the nurse
"You are welcomed."
Sasha wakes up after an hour. She looks around
"How is my baby." Sasha is crying
"I am sorry Sasha." I lower my head.
"I know that is the result. It is a punishment ." Sasha hugs me
I am comforting her . She puts her ear on my stomach
"Did I hear a second heart beat!" Sasha looks at me
"I am pregnant too." I say.
"Really ! That is a good new. I am auntie now ." Sasha giggles
Alan sighs with relief . Sasha can change emotion so quickly.
"So Sasha you have to calm down. There are more people for you to love." I say
"I don't think that I am worth of loving." Sasha screams
"You are . Sasha I love you as a son . "
Four grabs her hand . Sasha looks at four . Charlie is here as well
"Charlie." Sasha hugs her
"Mom I am sorry." Charlie shivers." I didn't know that dad was that cruel ."
"I am sorry Charlie . I shouldn't let you experience this." Sasha kisses her." Everyone are now safe."
