Ah, that's right! I need to choose someone for that special mission...
Who should I choose?
A 7'2" Caucasian male earthling with the physique of a Mister Olympia Open Bodybuilder approaches Mr. Satan's home to observe Saiyaman teaching Saiyawomen victory poses and entrances befitting of their heroic position. Ricky, an Earthling, is watching the two heroes at the residence of one of the world's greatest martial artists.
"Eliminator of every evil, and defender of justice...! The Great Saiyaman is here!" Saiyaman declared his entrance.
"Hey! Now it's your turn!" Saiyaman points to Saiyawoman, instructing her to do the entrance.
"G-Gohan... Do I really have to do this with you?" Saiyawoman asked unenthusiastically, revealing Saiyaman's name.
"Who is this Gohan you speak of? I am Great Saiyaman!" Saiyaman replied, flinching at hearing his name.
"This is no time for hesitation! We have a responsibility to defend the planet!" Saiyaman stays in character from his name being revealed.
"Well, let's go!" Saiyaman instructed Saiyawoman.
"Ugh... F-Fine, fine! I'll do it!" Saiyawoman yelled in frustration.
"Eliminator of evil, and defender of justice...! Great Saiyawoman is here!" Saiyawoman gets in character and declared her entrances.
"That was wonderful! You're perfect! Just perfect! You nailed it!" Saiyaman replied, surprised on how well she performed her entrance.
"Huh? A-Are you sure...? To be honest, that felt pretty good..." Saiyawoman openly admitted to Saiyaman.
"Great! Next, we'll have to decide on a perfect duo combination pose!" Saiyaman replied, loving the sound of Saiyawoman feeling good on her entrance.
"Okay! Got it!" Saiyawoman replied, now fully enthusiastic.
"Great! That's the spirit!"
Ricky happily smiles as he observes the action taking place in front of him. He would envision himself among them in his own Saiyaman garb, sighing with joy. He would receive a message from his scouter informing him of some news he needed to hear, and he would snicker at the concept.
"One incoming report. Upon assessment of a situation, I have concluded that..." A robotic voice spoke to Ricky.
"Just wait one minute!" Old Kai yelled in the scouter, making Ricky flinch.
"Wh-Wh-What was that for?!" The robotic voice asked, startled.
"You've been specifically chosen for that critical mission! Now go out there and do it!" Old Kai reveals Ricky to be chosen to become a Time Patroller.
"OH HELL YEAH! LET'S DO THIS SHIT!" Ricky screamed in excitement as he flew off from Mr. Satan's House.
"Why?!" The robotic voice cried in anguish.
While flying quickly to Conton City, Ricky observes the city as it is, listening to conversations between people of different races and flying over Patrol School. As he descended to the entrance of the Time Next, he would then view the Dragon Pedestal. Before meeting the Supreme Kai of Time, who was waiting for Ricky, he waves hello to a Namekian and a female Majin, revealing himself to be a social butterfly. Ricky would bow respectfully to her and walk over to her with a smile on his face.
"Welcome home!" Supreme Kai of Time greeted.
"Thank you, Surpeme Kai of Time!" Ricky greeted back.
"Ehee hee! Great news! You've been chosen for that big mission!" Supreme Kai of Time spoke to Ricky.
"It's a hell of an honor to be chosen for this mission, Supreme Kai of Time! So, where's Old Kai? I'm supposed to meet him." Ricky asked where Old Kai is.
"Well, when he heard you passed the test, he went off somewhere in a hurry. Why don't you go and look for him?" Supreme Kai of Time replied, not knowing where Old Kai is at the moment.
"Aw, that sucks..." Ricky nonchalantly scratches his hair.
"You know what? I'm pretty sure that he was the happiest to hear about your success!" Supreme Kai of Time cheered him up.
"Hehe. Of course he would be!" Ricky chuckled.
"The old man ran off that way. He may have headed for that building over there with the light blue roof. Somebody must've seen something. You should try asking around. Hurry up now! There's no time to waste." Supreme Kai of Times gives a guess on where Old Kai is located.
""Well, hot diggity damn! You got it, Surpeme Kai." Ricky begins to walk away.
"Oh! That reminds me! Even if you're in a hurry, you can't fly around yet! I saw you flying over here! Don't make me warn you again! It's dangerous to be out there flying recklesly like that! You need to get your flying lisence before you can fly in Conton City!" Supreme Kai of Time suddenly berated Ricky for unlicensed flying.
"Woah, hey, Supreme Kai of Time! I didn't know that first hand! No one ever told me that part!" Ricky raised his hands in shock, telling her the reason for him flying.
"Wait, really? I didn't notice... Sorry for berating you." Supreme Kai of Time apologized in response.
"No, no. It's cool. I'll take that beratement as a reminder to not fly around for one reason or another." Ricky smiled in appreciation.
Ricky would walk around to find someone who happened to know Old Kai's location. He sees a man, Tufu, eating a Calorie Mate, prompting Ricky to walk over to him, and Tufu immediately notices him.
"Yo, Tufu!" Ricky waved hello to him.
"Hey, Ricky! How are you doing? Something the matter?" Tufu greeted him.
"Oh, nothing. I'm just looking for Old Kai." Ricky replied, giving him insight of the situation.
"He was walking down this road just a little bit ago, but he suddenly let out a large yell and took off." Tufu explains the last time he saw Old Kai.
"Really, now? And where did you last see him?" Ricky asked.
"Do you know the Clothing Shop over there? He went down the road just past it. Ask around over there if you can't find him. Somebody must've seen where he went." Tufu revealed his information on Old Kai's whereabouts.
"Ah, thanks, Tufu. You're the man!" Ricky gives Tufu a handshake, which Tufu replies gratefully.
"He's usually quite a boisterous old man, but he seemed a bit exhausted today. I wonder what happened..." Tufu reveals his concerns about Old Kai.
"Hmm... I'd chalk that up to his age catching up with him. Even Kais don't live forever. But I wouldn't take it personally." Ricky brushes it off.
Ricky would give Tufu a thumbs up before walking away to the Clothing Shop. Try as he may to find Old Kai, however, Ricky was unable to find him at or near the Clothing Shop to begin with. Seeing a lady, Chicori, chilling in the sun, Ricky would walk over to her and greet her with a wave.
"Yo, Chicori!" Ricky greeted her.
"Hey, Ricky! What's up!" Chicori greeted him back.
"I need to find Old Kai. He told me to meet up with him sometime ago. Do you know where he's at?" Ricky asked her.
"Oh, the Elder Kai? I saw him walking down the road yelling out that he was busy. I thought he was headed for the Academy, but..." Chicori paused for a moment.
"But what?" Ricky asked.
"He suddenly took off running towards the Reception Area, but he fell over. I hope he's alright. That was a pretty nasty spill." Chicori revealed Old Kai injuring himself unintentionally.
"That's a big oof right there. But I think he's okay. Even at his old age, Old Kai is a tough old geezer." Ricky replied.
"Perhaps, you're right. The Reception Area is just below that large yellow roof over there. You should be able to find it on your map!" Chicori reveals the possible location to Old Kai.
"Aye, thanks for the help, Chicori! Alright, I'll leave you to it!" Ricky shook her hand in appreciation and walked off.
Ricky would jog over to the reception area, only to find Old Kai nowhere to be seen there. Tilting his head in confusion as to why Old Kai wouldn't be at such an important location in Conton City, he would see Kunei, a yellow-skinned female Majin, standing and waving hello to him.
"Yo, Kunei! How are you doing, my lady?" Ricky greeted her with a handshake.
"Doing good, Ricky! Looking for Elder Kai?" Kunei asked him.
"Well, hot damn! You made the right answer! You know where he's at?" Ricky asked.
"Yeah! He left the reception area and took off towards the Time Nest. The Time Nest is just past that gate. You should be able to find it on your map!" Kunei points to the Time Nest.
"Wait, that's the Time Nest? Damn! How did I not figure that out?" Ricky scratched his head.
"Hehe, just so you know, if you ever get lost, don't forget to use your map, okay?" Kunei reminded him.
"Don't worry, Kunei. I always remember to use the map I got!" Ricky shook her hand in appreciation.
"Alrighty, Ricky! Good luck!" Kunei ran off.
"Good luck to you, my lady!" Ricky waved bye to her.
Ricky would sprint at 40 miles per hour to the gate of the Time Nest and up the massive staircase, barely taking any time at all. Once at the top, he sees Old Kai clearing his throat, catching his attention. Ricky walked over to Old Kai and greeted him with a bow of respect.
"Hello, Old Kai. I'm ready to take that mission you gave me!" Ricky greeted him.
"Good to know. Ricky, is it? Now, because this is a great honor you've been bestowed with, I'm going to explain how you're job works. Your job is to travel to eras where changes in history have been made, and fix any errors that may have occurred." Old Kai explains the job of a Time Patroller to Ricky.
"Well, that's easy to understand!" Ricky replied.
"However! You still have much to learn! First, you should learn from the wisdom of those that have gone before you! Once a change has been made in history, it becomes easier for subsequent changes to be made to it as well." Old Kai warns Ricky of the dangers of being a Time Patroller.
'Ooh, that's spooky. But hey, I'll crush those changes and turns that back around the way they're supposed to!" Ricky cracked his knuckles.
"Sounds like you're so fired up about this! Okay, off you go!" Old Kai sends Ricky to the Time Nest.
"Hey, there! Wait just a moment!"
Ricky and Old Kai hear Supreme Kai of Time rushing over to both of them, with the bird, Tokitoki, on her shoulder.
"Before we allow you to go to your first mission, there's something I must ask of you, Ricky." Supreme Kai of Time spoke to him in a stern tone.
"Uh, sure! Something wrong, Supreme Kai of Time?" Ricky asked in confused.
"Normally, I'm supposed to give you a test on teaching you how to fight when going on Time Patrolling. But, from what I've heard, your superiors told me you've done that already, right?" Supreme Kai of Time asked him.
"Yeah! Yeah, of course I did that already! I'll show you the results if you want me to!" Ricky nodded his head.
"That won't be necessary. I never let any lies get past me anyway." Supreme Kai of Time pulls out the training assignment she normally assigns Time Patrollers to.
"Looks like you're already off to go. You got a Z-Rank!" Supreme Kai of Time revealed the grade to Ricky.
"FUCK YEAH! WOOH!" Ricky screamed in excitement before walking into the Time Nest.
Old Kai and Supreme Kai of Time were taken aback by the excitement Ricky was feeling.
"He seems oddly excited about this, Chronoa. Do you think he knows what he's about against?" Old Kai asked Supreme Kai of Time, calling her by her real name.
"Normally, I would say no. But something about Ricky does tell me yes..." Supreme Kai of Time reveals her uncertainties about the Earthling.
