"And that is the story."
"That explains why despite the traveling we've been doing, it's felt like we've been getting nowhere." Trunks pointed out.
"Even with Silver's incalculable speed, it could potentially take centuries of traveling just to map out a single section of this place." J'onn J'onnz pointed out, "It would be best to return to base and help defend it."
"As much as I hate to admit it, the Martian has a point." Galaxia said, "At the rate we're going at, we'd never be able to get anywhere at this rate."
"I don't like the idea that it's no use." Silver said, "There's gotta be something that we can do."
"Perhaps, instead of looking in the physical sense, we can attempt to find them using dimensional travel?"
"No dice on that end." Beerus said, "Whatever caused the separation in the first place prevents us from being able to travel between universes… Infiniverses, I guess."
"'Infiniverse'?" J'onn asked.
"You said that our universe is actually the equivalent of a regular-sized omniverse if the comparison was that each universe within that onmiverse was the size of an electron." Beerus said, "It's an appropriate name."
"You won't be hearing any disagreement from me." Trunks said, "Wait, Silver. What about that other thing you sensed when we got to base? Do you think that we can get to the others through that?"
"Not really." Silver shook his head, "Whatever that was that I sensed, it's like it has a lock. And I don't know what the key is. Even if we had the key to whatever it was that Silver has sensed, we would still need to know how the key works."
"So not only do we need the key, we need a keymaster?" Beerus said.
"Yeah, Vinz. We kinda would need it." Trunks replied, "Hopefully, someone even remotely familiar with it can show up. It's not like they have just one opponent that they can fight, right?"
"Y'know, the fact that we can only access this place when we're both actively trying to use time travel is total bullshit."
"I didn't make the rules, Cable. Just be happy that Ganon and I happen to keep Oblivion Crystals on hand to open this place up."
"I find the fact that you have those on hand to be really unnerving."
"You should see the person who uses them." Ganondorf commented, "It would be a bit of a shock."
"Right. A fourteen-year-old girl who's out to conquer the world." Barry commented, "Sounds like a great matchup for nobody relevant."
"You talk like Azula doesn't exist."
"Let's be real, she's probably fighting Cinder or Mileena." Barry said, "So this Cyclone girl or whatever isn't going to show up for maybe a few years."
"I thought that you were on the air around the same time as her show?" Ganondorf asked.
"No. That was Wally." Barry clarified, "I'm just saying that if people aren't that familiar with her, then she's probably never going to show up."
"Shame. We have an old portal to this place back home." Mewtwo said, "She could potentially open a portal and get us out of here."
"Piper could make an appearance." Ganondorf said, "She's familiar enough with crystals that she could get in."
"Ganon, it was a fluke that there was a Storm Hawks marathon going on when the crew were looking for an opponent for Kim Possible in that other timeline. At this point in time, she's likely to find a matchup in Donatello."
"And here I thought I was the pessimist." The Gerudo King muttered, "What about a character from that one other show from her animators' studio? I think I remember some show called Battle Force 5 or something that could provide an opponent."
"Now that's a name I haven't heard in forever and-a-half." Booster Gold commented, "But I'm with Mewtwo on this one. Unless one of those Crystal Mages makes an appearance, we're basically stuck here. Spending half the time fighting off Brainiac's drones, and the other half just trying to survive."
"At least the people native to this place can't get hurt. But it's still a load of crap that Brainiac's ship is still functional here."
"I wouldn't call them 'native', but at the very least, Brainiac's ship being functional provides this place with a source of oxygen." Mewtwo pointed out, "We'd be in deep Muk if it wasn't working."
"I guess so." Cable muttered, "Still, I'd rest easier knowing that his ship wasn't online."
"Let's just be happy that his ship can't invade other worlds." Flash said.
"That goes both ways, Allen." Ganondorf pointed out, "We can't get to other worlds either."
"Not unless someone else opens it up for us." Mewtwo added.
"Call me crazy, but I'd rather not let Brainiac get to our world unless we got guys like Hal or Thor there to fend him off." Booster said.
"What about Zatanna?" Barry asked, "Heck, I'm sure that someone like Silver Surfer could stop Brainiac."
"Right. Because Surfer has a myriad of matchups that he can get." Ganondorf drawled, "Honestly, we'd be better off just keeping him trapped here. Who knows? Maybe Zelda can just find a way to trap him in the Twilight Realm."
"Would that even work?"
Ganondorf shrugged, "Who knows, Mewtwo. Who really knows? Besides, at this rate, trapping astronomically more powerful foes is probably our best bet at making sure the world doesn't break."
Dude: Okay, I don't know who the fuck invited Bill goddamn Cipher into this maze, but at the very least, he's not getting out of that door.
Wade: I found some boards and I think I remember the recipe for concrete. Should we board this door up to make sure nobody opens it?
Dude: Oh yeah. Goddamn, we are lucky as hell that he can't open it from his side. We'd be fffuuuuuuucccccccckkkkkkkkkkkeeeeeddddddd.
