"What?! How did you find me this time?!" Blackbeard growled, clearly upset.

"You can throw me off your tail as many times as you like, Teach, but I'll always get back on track." Ace said, playing around with his devil fruit abilities.

"So this is the guy that's after you?" Shredder asked, a blade appearing out of his armor.

"What's it look like to you?" Blackbeard growled, getting his devil fruit ready.

"Go do your part of the bargain, I'll hold him off." Shredder growled. Blackbeard immediately left in his darkness, a grin spreading across his face as Ace rushed forward to grab him but was cut off by Shredder's blade.

"What kind of Bargain is he planning now?!" Ace growled, his fire closing off the wound like it was never there in the first place.

"It's simple, really, I get rid of what's behind him, and he gets out of what's in front of me.

"What could you possibly want now?! You enslaved New York after Gold Roger was executed."

"I want my rule over the damn island back. Ever since that stupid Baxter Stockman created Superfly to get rid of me, I wasn't able to return until the mutant was nothing but a regular fly. Now, here I am, returning to rightfully own the place."

Ace began to laugh.

"What's so funny?!" Shredder growled, racing forward with another hit.

"You were chased off by a damn fly?!" Ace laughed harder.

"A mutated fly, to be exact!"

Ace stopped laughing and sighed, stepping to the side and dodging the blade.

"Off with that now. What could possibly be in your way this time?" Ace changed the subject with a grumble.

"4 mutated turtles." Shredder replied simply.

"My name is Leonardo. Call me Leo, and you are..." Leo lost his sentence, forgetting what his name was again.

"Zoro. Roronoa Zoro." Zoro sighed, sharpening his swords.

"Okay, Zoro, why do you have three swords?" Leo asked.

"I use the three sword style technique." Zoro answered, frowning when he noticed a small chip in his sword.

"Do you have something I can use to fix this crack?" Zoro asked.

"Why? It's so small, and this blade is sharp enough to cut through even a turtle shell!" Leo said, staring in awe at the sharpness of Wado Ichimonji.

"I take shame in even the smallest chips in my swords. Otherwise, I am no true swordsman." Zoro growled.

"Oh... I guess I'm no true swordsman then." Leo frowned, looking at the dullness of his own blades.

"Where did you learn swordsmanship anyway?" Zoro asked.

"I didn't learn it from anywhere. My father got most of his skills off of the TV and shared what he learned with us. But we never got the freedom we have now until we saved this island over a year ago, so I'm in a real dojo now, learning what I need to know about my swords. We just can't afford to fix the dullness of my blades yet." Leo frown deepened.

Zoro sighed and took Leo's swords.

"Hey! Give those back!" Leo growled.

"They are pretty dull, I don't think these swords have a good enough quality to go on." Zoro frowned. He understood Leo's reasons, but the swords were too poorly damaged to go on.

"What?" Leo's eyes widened.

"Leo, you need to retire these swords. If it were to take a hit from even the dullest sword, it would shatter into a million pieces." Zoro stood up and set the swords down in their case.

"Then how am I supposed to fight?!" Leo yelled, tears dripping down his green skin.

"Where's the nearest forge?" Zoro asked, helping Leo up.

"It's up in the northern part of the outskirts." Leo explained.

"Take me there. We can get you a new pair of swords."

"But I don't have the money!" Leo reminded.

"Money can't buy you everything. Sometimes, you have to use your own determination." Zoro smirked, leaving the sewers with Leo.

"Hi, I'm Michaelangelo, but you can call me Mikey." Mikey smiled, looking at Usopp with a smile.

"Well, I'm the amazing Captain Usopp! Brave warrior of the seas!" Usopp puffed his chest proudly, crossing his arms.

"Don't fill his head with ideas, Usopp." Nami sighed, flicking the back of his head as she walked by.

"Ow!" Usopp cried out.

Mikey laughed softly and looked at Usopp.

"I was wondering why you use a slingshot and not a gun?" Mikey asked.

"You see, Mikey, I don't think I could ever let this slingshot out of my hand. My mother gave this to me before she died from a terrible sickness." Usopp frowned.

"Oh... I'm sorry if this was a sensitive question." Mikey frowned.

"It's alright. Everyone on the crew has an item they treasure greatly. For example, Luffy treasures his Straw Hat, Zoro Treasures Wado Ichimonji, Nami treasures the tangerines on our ship, and Sanji treasures the cooking knives he recieved before leaving the baratie

"Just like I treasure my Nunchucks?" Mikey smiled, looking at his old and rusty nunchucks.

"Wow. Those look quite old..." Usopp frowned.

"I know. We're all planning on retiring our weapons. But not all of us are ready." Mikey's smile dropped, and he placed the nunchucks on the floor, a small tear escaping his eye.

"Hey, how about I buy you a new pair? Is there a specific kind you're looking for?" Usopp asked.

"Well, there is, but no one has ever been able to afford it." Mikey's frown deepened.

"I'll see what I can do, take me there." Usopp smiled.

The 2 left the sewers and went on to the old weaponry shop.

"I'm Nami, what's your name?" Nami introduced herself, laying her bo-staff down for a quick check for any splinters and flaws.

"I'm Donatello, but please call me Donnie. That's a really nice bo-staff you have." Donnie smiled as an answer.

"Thanks. It shares many terrible memories with me, but I honestly like having it around." Nami sighed.

"I haven't carried my staff much lately. it's too damaged and has given me a lot of splinters." Donnie frowned.

"Here. You can have mine. I was planning on getting a new one anyway." Nami passed her staff over to Donnie.

"I-I can't take this!" Donnie argued.

"It's okay, It's yours now." Nami laughed.

"... Thank you so much..." Donnie smiled, a small tear slipping down his cheek.

An idea popped into Donnie's hesd, and he scurried out of his room, coming back with a small cylinder.

"Have this in return." Donnie smiled, handing it over to Donnie.

"What is it?"

"It's a tested prototype, It's safe enough in the hands of someone who can really weild a Bo-Staff." Donnie, smilled. Pressing the button, the cylinder turned into a long wooden staff.

"Thanks, but why don't you use it?"

"Because I can't weild it safely quite yet. It often hurts me when I try to open it." Donnie admitted a bit embarrassed.

"Well, thanks, Donnie." Nami smiled.

"You seem to really like violence..." Sanji chuckled nervously at the posters of famous wrestlers beating the shit out of their enemies and torn up punching bags.

"Yep! Gets the rage pumping through my veins!" Raph pumped his fists excitedly, throwing a dart into the dart board on his wall.

"You know, that anger, have you ever used it in a spar?" Sanji asked.

"Nope. I've never had spar unless a spar with a bunch of wooden planks counts." Raph shrugged.

"I used to have a lot of anger built up inside me, an old colleague of mine used to spar with me all the time to get me to let it out." Sanji chuckled, lighting his cigarette.

"So?" Raph huffed, throwing a punch at whatever the hell he would find.

"These Sais... They're old and rusty." Sanji frowned, studying the sais.

"Call them relics if you want, I'm planning on getting a new pair." Raph grumbled.

"You guys don't seem the kind to have enough money, though." Sanji stated his opinion.

"Because we don't. We've been living underground most of our lives. Then we became high schoolers thanks to our fight against superfly." Raph explained shortly.

"Here. it's an old pair of sais that I got when I met Zeff. I tried to fight him off with them, but things turned around, and I know they're yours."

Raph stared at the sais, and his finger wriggled around them, having the perfect fit.

"Hell yeah, baby!!" Raph laughed. The sais looked brand new as ever and quite perfect indeed.

SubZero Fantasies

"Hi, I'm Luffy and you are...?" Luffy held his hand out to April, who just visiting the turtles when she bumped into this random guy in a straw hat.

"Uhm... my name's April."

"Are you friends those turtle guys back there?" Luffy smiled.

"Yes. I am." April didn't need anything to know that this guy wasn't going to hurt her. He looked completely harmless after all.

"Welp, nice to meet you, I hope we can get along! By the way, do uou know how to back to where the mutants are?" Luffy smiled.

April sighed and nodded her head, leading him down the odd people that lived here.

The more they stepped deepef into the sewers, the darker it got, this confused April, because it was never so dark when ahe came down.

"Do you have any bad feelings in your gut?" Luffy asked, his tone rather creeped out.

"No? New York has always been safe, so I've never had a bad feeling." April shrugged.

"These walls..." Luffy frowned as felt the barricade around them wasn't curving at all, it was straight and flat, unlike the sewer pipes.

"April?" Luffy called, but April's voice was gone.

"April?!" Luffy yelled, walking deeper in before he saw a light, he ran toward the light before finding himself inside a plain white room, he looked behind him to see the entrance was gone and was stuck inside this room.

"Say that straw hat... I've seen it somewhere." A voice cackled, Luffy couldn't determine where it was coming from.

"Who's there?!" Luffy growled.

"The names Blackbeard, oh, I remember now... that hat used to belong to red haired shanks!"

"You knew Shanks?" Luffy asked.

"Yep. Quite the jackass he was though. He often stepped aboard the old ship I used to run along with, always causing such a ruckus with all the newbies." Blackbeard growled at the stupid memories he hated so much.

Luffy lost all sense of feeling with only one remaining, anger.

"Don't talk bad about Shanks." Luffy gritted his teeth angrily.

"Aw, did I hit a sensitive spot?" Blackbeard mocked.

Luffy felt a hard punch to his gut. It felt like a 10 ton log of steel was just shoved into his stomach. He hit the wall and coughed a short series of blood, but the hits kept on coming. It never ended and pain echoed through his entire body. But he wasn't about to give up. No matter how much blood was lost or how many bruises was placed on his body, he wasn't about give up.

He saw a familiar figure enter. But the fatigue wouldn't let him find out who it was.
