The journey to Blarg Tactical Station on Nebula G34 orbit did not take long and there were no problems along the way. Only the landing attempt turned out to be a challenge. When Ratchet and Clank were within range of the station, the crew demanded identification under threat of being shot by the cannons. Clank quickly calmed down the situation by giving them his serial number and telling them that he was returning from a successful mission and wanted to recharge his batteries. The Blargs bought this bluff and allowed the boys to land.

Once the ship was settled on the landing pad, Clank was the first to exit the ship and greet the security members. This gave Ratchet a chance to sneak up behind them and then snap their necks. After throwing the body through the airlock, Lombax and his companion moved deeper into the station. Using his Void powers, Ratchet was able to sneak between the crew undetected, which was very beneficial to them. During all this, our heroes managed to notice that this place is actually one big laboratory. Every now and then they saw the Scorn and the Hive members in tubes located around the station. From the scientists' conversations, it was possible to learn that the Blargs, at the request of Hiraks, one of the Barons, tried to cross and fuse both races. This terrified our heroes and they decided it had to be stopped. They stealthily reached the main laboratory, where they saw a monster standing in the middle of the room.

"What in the name of the name of a Great Wolf Sif is this?" Ratchet asked himself.

Said monster looked like the Scorn, who was not only large, but also very muscular. Of the four hands that Eliksni usually have, only the top two were there. Additionally, traces of electricity circulate throughout the body.

"I recommend that we stay out of sight and try to avoid this Abomination," Clank whispered.

Ratchet agreed with him and began sneaking through the lab.

Unfortunately, as bad luck would have it, Ratchet forgot to recharge his void energy in some hiding place and this caused his invisibility to turn off in the middle of the room where everyone could see him.

"Alarm! We have an intruder! Call security!" one of the scientists shouted. After a while, an alarm rang out throughout the station, and Blarg and Scoorn soldiers ran into the room.

"Son of a bitch!" - cursed Lombax. Then he started fighting the opponent, either by shooting them or fighting them hand-to-hand. As the last soldier fell dead, Ratchet was about to move on when he felt something large move behind him. When he turned around, he saw the Abomination standing behind him. "Oh, you must be kidding me."

The monster raised its arms high and then struck the ground hard, creating a wave of electricity. Ratchet quickly teleported into the air to avoid the wave, then pulled out Thorn and aimed it at the Abomination. To his surprise, the beast had its arms extended towards him, from which a lightning bolt shot out, hitting the Lombax. Ratchet was thrown against the wall by this attack, but he quickly got up and dodged when he saw that his opponent was aiming again. Hiding behind cover, the young Lombax began to think about a plan of action. He peeked around the room and saw that there were barrels with cryogenic fluid near the Abomination. Ratchet fired a few bullets at it, causing an explosion that stunned the beast and covered it in a light layer of ice. Without wasting a second, the boy ran out from behind cover, summoned his sword-transformed Omniwrench to his hand, and then plunged the blade into the Abomination's head. The beast roared in pain and then fell to the ground dead.

For a moment, Ratchet stood still with his sword over the dead body, breathing heavily. This fight, even though it was short, was tough. The boy quickly managed to regulate his breathing and go further into the station. Walking through the next corridors, Lombax kept encountering new enemies. iThey weren't the Blargs or the Scorn, but also the Hive. This surprised the young man, as the latter were usually not willing to cooperate with other races. Plus, those here were glowing. All of this gave Ratchet a bad feeling.

After a dozen or so minutes, our heroes reached a large room. There they found the Scorn Baron, Hiraks, waiting for them. He is a huge, up to 3 meters high, Eliksni with four arms and with armor and a rifle made from Hive chitin.

"Clyde's bastard child! Look and admire! Thanks to the death of your weak father, I managed to absorb his Light! Now you will see my new power!" the Baron shouted. He then began to say a magical incantation in the Hive language, which caused his hand to burn with green fire, and then he slammed it hard on the ground. This turned the ground into one large portal into which our heroes and the Baron fell.

When Ratchet and Clank woke up after the fall, they saw a land filled with dark green fog. They were on a large island, full of various buildings of Eliksni design. Ratchet quickly recognized where they were.

"Oh fuck…we're in the Throne World. The bastard has his own pocket dimension!" said Lombax.

"I take it this isn't good news, right?" Clank asked.

"Not at all. Hive logic dictates that each creature killed strengthens that dimension and its user. The more powerful the creature, the better. This size may mean that he either killed a large number of opponents..."

"Or someone powerful."

"Yes. If I had to guess…it's the result of my father's death."

After a while, the entire area began to shake. The buildings were crumbling and huge chitin spikes were growing in their place. Suddenly, the huge figure of Hiraks emerged from under the island. He was no longer a 3-meter tall Eliksni, but a being the size of a skyscraper.

"Behold! I am no longer an ordinary Baron, but a god!" he shouted. He then lit his hand on fire, and Hive Acolytes (soldiers) and Thralls(minions) began to emerge from the ground. Each of them glowed like the previous one and slightly resembled the Eliksni in their body structure, like four arms for exemple. "Thanks to my wonderful consort and her brood, I not only gained the power of the Hive, but also gave birth to Eliksni and Hive hybrids. Together we will make the universe fall under the power of my master!"

Ratchet and Clank were terrified by what they saw. This was no longer a simple task for revenge, but an attempt to repel the beginning of a powerful invasion. Without waiting a moment longer, Ratchet pulled Thorn from his holster and began shooting at the hybrids. Hiraks looked at all this and laughed, for the death of his offspring only made him stronger.

After a few minutes of constant fighting, Ratchet stood over a pile of hybrid corpses. His armor was heavily damaged, even had holse in some places, and blood was seeping from the wounds he received. Despite this he still stood on his own two legs.

"Ratchet! Are you holding on?" Clank asked worriedly. Seeing his companion have to fight a horde of monsters alone made him feel bad that he couldn't help him in any way.

"Yes...I'm good," Lombax replied, coughing up blood a few times and holding his most painful wound.

Suddenly they saw a huge shadow looming over them. They then saw Hiraks standing over them, preparing his fist to crush his opponents.

"Begone, bastard child! Let your death nourish my realm!"

Our fur hero, as soon as he saw the fist approaching, started running away. He even tried to teleport, but he wasted all his energy on hybrids. It also didn't help that the boy was tired and full of pain. At one point, Ratchet fell to the ground. He tried to get up, even with Clank helping him, but his body refused to obey. As soon as he saw that the Baron's fist was very close, Lombax grabbed his mechanical companion and covered him with his body, hoping that this would protect the bot.

However, the blow did not come, and in the Throne World there was a huge bang of an energy weapon shot and Hiraks's cry of pain.

"Howdy, Third. Do you mind if I join this dance?"

Ratchet looked at the person standing next to him and saw that it was the Drifter. His current outfit consisted of a vest made of dirty yellow material with a hood and white metal gloves, greaves and a mask that covered his entire face.

Suddenly, both Void users heard the Baron's furious roar. Hiraks wondered how someone had entered his dimension, but his anger dimmed all his logic. Now he only wanted his opponents dead. So he aimed his rifle and then fired.

Without thinking, Two quickly grabbed Ratchet and Clank and teleported them to safety. Once Lombax and the bot were safe, he ordered them to stay where they were and he would take care of Eliksni.

"Hey! I'm here, you fucking insect! Show me what you can do!" he shouted

Enraged by these words, Hiraks started shooting at the human man. However, he easily protected himself from the bullets by teleporting. Additionally, every time he dodged, he fired a single laser beam from his pistol. Each shot hit Baron perfectly and, interestingly, reduced his size. After a few minutes of this cat and mouse game, Hiraks had shrunk down to the size of an adult man. He didn't know how it happened, but it didn't matter to him now. He just wanted to kill his opponent.

Seeing that Eliksni was already a fairly normal size, the Drifter sheathed his pistol and then took out two katanas, one slightly longer than the other, before charging at the Baron. Eliksni tried to hit the approaching man with his rifle, but he used his blades to block the bullets. Irritated by this turn of events, Hiraks lit his hand on fire and then sent a fireball at his opponent. It hit the brown haired man and pushed him away from the Baron.

"You want to play unavailable? All right. Let's play," Two said. Then he spread his hands and lit his hands with white fire. "Decrees!"

After a second, a lot of levitating cards appeared behind the man. Each with a different symbol. Next thing that happened was that a lot of them flew towards the Drifter, who absorbed them. As the last card disappeared, Two's body completely ignited with white fire, and two white fire horns appeared on his head.

"Let's dance."- suddenly the man disappeared from Ratchet and Eliksni's sight. This caused the latter to rapidly scan his surroundings for his opponent, but he saw nothing.

At some point, Drifter appeared behind the Baron and casually kicked his opponent and sent him flying into the distance. When he hit the ground, Hiraks quickly got up and looked towards where the man was. He saw the brown-haired man pointing one of his blades at him.

"Ember's Decree: Fireball!" shouted the Drifter. Suddenly, the blade ignited with orange fire, which then shot towards the Baron and hit him. He fell to his knees, hurt but still alive. He looked at the human again and saw him slam both swords into the ground and send out a wave of ice that covered and immobilized the Scorn.

"What kind of power is this?!" Eliksni shouted in horror. He had never seen or heard about such power. Even the Lightbringers or the Hive doesn't possess such a thing!

But that wasn't the last thing the Drifter did. He charged his blades with Void energy, then dashed towards the Baron and ended the insectoid's life with one slash.

"No…I can't die here…"

After these words, Hiraks fell to the ground dead. When this happened, the entire island started shaking. Surprised by this phenomenon, the Drifter ran to Ratchet and Clank, and then went to the portal that appeared nearby. When the three of them passed through it, they saw that they were again in space station.

"Phew! What a fight! Easier than the one with the Void dragons." - commented the older male. He then looked at the Lombax and saw how badly he was damaged. So he quickly placed the boy comfortably on the ground and then used his powers to heal his wounds. "Easy, Third. I am near ya."

After a few minutes, Ratchet's body healed and he felt better. The young man thanked his other version for helping him and asked what he was doing here.

"It's a funny story. I was in this land that the Void had created based on a book I was reading, Duviri, and suddenly I saw a Void Rift in the distance. I decided to check what was on the other side and bah, I saw you and that big motherfucker trying to crush you. By the way, you're welcome, kiddo," explained the Drifter.

"Yeah, yeah. Thanks for the help, old man. I hope you haven't got a and pain in your back," said Lombax with a slight sarcasm.

"Oi!"

Clank was watching all this, slightly intrigued by what the people standing in front of him were saying. He was mostly intrigued by the character of the Drifter, who, after removing his helmet, did not remind him of any representative of the race he had in his database. His sensors also detected that he and Lombax were radiating the same energy. However, he decided that it would be better to ask Ratchet about all this when they were not in hostile territory.

After a short chat and a few questions from Clank, to which the Drifter answered as best he could, a.k.a. that he was Human and another version of Ratchet, the man said goodbye to the boys and then opened the portal himself and returned to his dimension.

With that out of the way, Ratchet placed Clank on his back and continued into the depths of a station. After a few minutes, they reached a room that could be called the Hive's den, as there were cocoons everywhere. And above them all flew the female Hive Wizard and the mother of this brood, In Ananh.

"My children! Your father died in battle, but do not worry, for his will is within you! Soon the entire universe will fall under the feet of our new master, the Emperor!" she shouted. She then quickly sensed that someone else was in her lair. So she looked at the door and saw Ratchet standing there. "You! You killed my consort! You will feel my wrath!"

The next thing Lombax saw was the Hive representative splitting into two forms, a regular one and one resembling her shadow. Then they both let out a loud screech that woke up the sleeping hybrids, and they charged at the intruder.

Without waiting long, Ratchet took out the same pistol that the Drifter had given him, Sirocco, and then started shooting at his opponents with it. This weapon not only allowed Lombax to use his Void energy as powerful laser beams, but also, much to his surprise, it did not turn to dust like other weapons. What was also interesting was that when Ratchet placed Sirocco in his hand, Thorn spoke to him as a whisper in his head, telling him that he should only use the dark revolver. The boy was very surprised by this, but he decided that he would deal with it another time.

Back in the story. Each hit from the gun resulted in a small explosion that also killed nearby hybrids around the target. This quickly cleared an area and left our heroes alone in the lair with the witch and her shadow. These began to incantate, which slowly created small flames within their sight. Without waiting for the result, Lombax jumped behind the nearest cover. And he did the right thing, because when the incantation was completed it caused a huge explosion of fire.

Seeing a window after this explosion, Ratchet jumped out from behind cover and fired several lasers at the original Wizard. She was quickly disintegrated by these attacks. This enraged the shadow, which created a dozen or so small spikes beneath Lombax. Ratchet luckily noticed this quickly and teleported into the air, avoiding getting impaled. While he was in the air, he fired his Sirocco several times and thus killed In Ananh's shadow.

Satisfied with this victory, Ratchet began to dance, as it was a custom practiced by many Guardians after successful missions and strikes operations. Clank was initially surprised by his companion's sudden outburst of joy, but soon joined him. When the two finished celebrating, they began to look for clues about the whereabouts of the other Barons. After a few minutes, they managed to find an info-bot with information that Yaviks, also known as The Rider, was on Rilgar and was terrorizing the citizens there and their hoverboard tournament. With this information, our heroes returned to their ship, having first started the self-destruct sequences and took the special shoes for riding on rails, Grind Boots, and left the space station.

The hunt is not over for the young wolf from the Iron Lords.

After analyzing the report from the interrogation of the Militia and IMC members, Alister decided that something had to be done about this mysterious weapon on Typhon. So he called Anna, Rivet and Jill to his office and with them they waited for the last person.

"Anything already decided, Master? Maybe this weapon will be useful to us in the fight against the Emperor and his army," said the apprentice.

"Good point, Anna. However, the benefits of this weapon will be determined by reconnaissance and recon. For this, however, we need help," said Alister.

"So who are we waiting for?" Rivet asked.

At this moment, a person entered the leader's office. He is a male Lombax with black fur with red stripes and one eye that is blood red, as the other was clearly cybernetic. His outfit was an Alliance agent's uniform, the same one Rivet wore during her interrogation.

"Hey, hey, hey! Howdy everyone! How are ya?" asked the man. He quickly saw Anne out of the corner of his eye and hugged her. "Anish! I missed you so much! Did you miss your uncle?"

"Uncle Zero, I can't breathe," the girl said in a barely audible voice.

Zero separated himself from the student and then saluted in front of Alister. "Special Agent and Watcher Alor "Zero" Nass. Reporting for duty, sir!"

The Alliance leader stood up from his seat and walked over to the man, then hugged him like a long friend.

"It's good to see you again, Alor."

The agent smiled to himself and returned the gesture. He, Wrath, and a few others served together for a very long time. First as pawns of the former master of Alister, and then as a special team under the orders of the Emperor himself. The amount of blood they have on their hands would be hard to count, but that's what the Alliance is for. To redeem their past sins and save the universe.

After a few seconds, both men stopped hugging. Alor noticed that there were two other people in the room. He first greeted Jill, who also hugged him, and then looked at Rivet. But when he looked at her, his eyes opened wide.

"Ra..Ra…Rayla? You…you are alive?"

The young Lombax was surprised that this man knew her. She was even more surprised when he hugged her.

"My little Moonshadow. I'm so happy to see you."

This gesture left Rivet unsure of what to do. Obviously this man knows her. Maybe this is her father? But her mother would have mentioned it, right? On the other hand, this gesture made the girl feel quite uncomfortable.

Due to this second thing, the young Lombax quickly freed herself from the man's grip and ran to Jill and hid behind her.

"Well, look what you've done, uncle. You scared her," Anna said.

Seeing Rivet hiding, Alor was not surprised. He quickly realized that his sudden gesture must have had a negative effect on the girl. So, being away from her, he decided to say hello.

"Forgive me for my behavior, Rayla. I'm Alor Nass. Your uncle and one of your godfathers."

The young Lombax looked at the man with surprise in her eyes. So this isn't my dad, she thought.

"No problem. I'm just still getting used to having a biological family. I firstly thought you were my father," the girl said.

Zero laughed at what Rivet said and then pointed at Alister.

"But your daddy is sitting right behind the desk, young one. You didn't know that?"

At that moment, Alister cursed his friend and felt cold sweat on his body. This wasn't how he wanted it to be. He didn't want Rayla to find out about him like this. But now it was too late for that. So he looked at his daughter and saw the surprise in her eyes.

"D-Dad?"

Hearing this from her mouth, all Wrath did was hit his head on his desk and cursed.
