Ruby walked through the Emerald Forest following behind Weiss. For some reason the young reaper couldn't shake the feeling that something was going to happen. However, that wasn't what was currently on the girl's mind. She glanced at the pin on her belt.

It had been twelve years since her mother vanished without a trace. "Are you paying attention you dunce." Came the voice of her partner. "Huh? Oh, sorry Weiss, just reminiscing." Weiss frowned. "About what?" Ruby gave her a sad smile. "My mom. She went missing twelve years ago."

"Good the gang's all here. now we can die together." Yang said as several beowolves, three ursa, and a deathstalker approached them. Ruby tightened her grip on Crescent Rose. Blake Belladonna blinked three times. "Does anyone else hear that." Yang gave her a deadpan stare. "If you mean the screeching Grimm? Then yeah" she said. Blake shook her head.

IN IT'S DARKEST HOUR, REMNANT WOULD GAIN SOMETHING INCREDIBLE

"It sounds like… yelling?" at that comment everyone strained their ears. Sure, enough they heard voices yelling as one. "FOR THE COMMISSAR'S HOLMELAND!" the initiates turned to see at least sixty or seventy men dressed in old school uniforms and wearing cloth gas masks. Some even had a piece of metal covering the upper part of the mask acting like armor. Each one also had crude grey colored shoulder armor. However, the lead soldier had red colored shoulder armor. Each one carried what appeared to be a rifle of sorts with a bayonet attached at the end.

"Defend the children, I don't want to see a single demon near them." The soldier with red shoulder armor yelled out pointing at them. "Is he referring to us?" Weiss asked "If he is, then he's sadly mistaken. We can handle ourselves."

IT WOULD GAIN AN ARMY OF UNWAVERING AND UNYEILDING MEN KNOWN SIMPLY AS

"Thank you for your timely assistance captain though the students could have handled it." Ozpin said sitting in his chair while team RWBY stood off to the side as the captain of the unknown soldiers responded. "I had no doubt they could headmaster, but my orders were to find and protect a ruby rose along with a yang Xiao Long." The captain said clearly on edge. "Who gave you this order?" the headmaster asked as the elevator doors opened.

THE DEATH KORPS OF KRIEG

"That would be me headmaster." A feminine voice said. "Commissar on deck!" the captain said as both he and the gathered soldiers stood at attention. "I assume that you're his superior?" Goodwitch asked. The commissar nodded before turning her attention to the sisters. Ruby didn't know why, but for some reason the Commissar's presence felt familiar especially with the white cloak she was wearing.

"Ruby, my little rose and yang my little firecracker, look at how much you two have grown." The commissar said confusing the two. "Do we know you?" Yang asked getting in front of ruby. "I believe it'd be a great help if you removed your mask commissar." The captain said

The commissar gave a nod and set her hat on Ozpin's desk. Everyone, save for the unknown soldiers, watched with baited breath.

Camera follows the mask as it is lowered to the commissar's side before it focuses on yang and ruby's faces.

Both girls' eyes widened in shock before tears begin to fall down their cheeks. The person in front of them was wearing a face that had vanished twelve years earlier. "With that damn thing off, now do you recognize me?" the commissar asked, her voice no longer muffled by the gas mask she'd been wearing.

Screen turns black as white and red rose petals float in the wind as word formed
