Chapter 40: Party Times
Underworld Hospital…
"I hope we can meet again in the future, Pam." Naruto said as he and Pamela walked through the halls of the hospital.
"Me too, Naruto." Pamela said as she handed Naruto her phone number. "We made a good team, so hopefully, we can show off more down the road."
Giving his now former teammate a hug, Naruto took a left as Pamela took a right at an intersection.
She was visiting the hospital when she ran into Naruto earlier.
"Hey, Naruto."
Naruto looked up and saw Guts and Casca.
"So~" Guts asked with a shit eating grin, cupping his chin with his only hand. "Who was that? Should I call Koneko and tell her you are cheating on her?"
Naruto blushed.
"I… she… what?"
Guts laughed.
"Hey!" Casca said sharply, eyes narrowed. "Don't make fun of Naruto.
"Whatever…" Guts said with his grin remaining.
The trio started to walk toward the exit.
"You sure you can make it on your own?" Guts asked Naruto. "We can make the time to take you."
"Nah, I need to stretch my legs after so many days recovering." Naruto said as he stretched his arms and legs, entering his fox form. "Later Guts, Casca. Take it easy for the baby."
Smirking as Naruto took to the air via Geppo, Guts wrapped an arm around Casca's waist, his hand grazing her pregnant belly.
"That kid is too optimistic." Guts stated as he led his wife to their car. "I don't see what Koneko sees in him."
"Oh, hush you." Casca said as she playfully smacked her husband's shoulder.
Hours Later, Bael Mansion…
Naruto stood still, T Posing as Kuisha looked him over… again.
"I'm sure I am okay, Kuisha, can you stop?" Naruto asked as he wanted to sit down after traveling.
He handed to spend time with his peerage while he waited for the results of the Supernova Challenges…
And skip school.
"No, I have to be sure you are okay." Kuisha stated.
Naruto sighed in defeat, resigning to his fate.
A few more minutes passed before Kuisha nodded.
"Alright, you seem to be fine." She said as she bopped Naruto's nose.
Sighing in relief, Naruto headed toward his room.
He wanted to shower and take a nap in a comfortable bed before returning to the Phenex Manor in the human world.
Walking through the halls of the mansion, Naruto stopped before Misla's bedroom.
Looking up and down the hall, Naruto enters quietly.
'Yep, nothing's changed.' Naruto thought as his eyes landed on Misla's sleeping form.
Walking up to her, Naruto gently took her hand.
'She's gotten pale.' Naruto noted, feeling her cold skin against his palms.
Naruto looked at her face.
Peaceful was the word he could use to describe it.
"Granny Misla… I participated in the Supernova Challenges… but it got interrupted, so I don't know if I can say for sure I am gonna become one." Naruto said softly. "I just…" He took a sharp breath of air. "I just wanted to make you proud."
He wanted her to pet his head and say he did a good job.
But as it was, it wouldn't happen.
Putting Misla's hand back down, Naruto exited, his heart weighing heavy as he went to his room, ready to sleep.
Meanwhile, Lucifer's Castle…
"Justin Law of Sabo Phenex fails." Ajuka stated in a sad tone as they looked at a magic image of Justin in the center of the table. "He showed great promise, but he showed clear signs of internal struggle, and from how vicious he was toward his comrades before the invasion, I deem him unsuited for the title."
"I second that." Homura spoke.
Serafall crossed Justin's name from their list.
"Next: Gin Ichimaru, Free Pawn." Serafall announced, an image of Gin appearing, replacing Justin. "He was another who showed willingness to cooperate with Guts, whom we talked about earlier. His sacred gear is impressive, and his wit is endearing."
"Yes, Gin seemed to be many moves ahead during his battles." Falbium said, using magic to alter the screen, showing Gin fighting Kiba. "He was able to stay ahead of Young Kiba and kept the lead. Then there are the battles with the animals."
"Gin succeeds?" Sirzechs asks.
"I second." Danzo replied.
Serafall left Gin's name alone.
"Deidara, Free Pawn."
"Fail. He cared far too little for his comrades lives during the invaders attack."
Deidara failed.
"Pamela Isley of Edward Zagan."
"Pass. Her biology gave her several advantages in and out of combat, she showed great willingness to work with Young Bael, on top of surrendering that fight to him. She has a keen insight that is rare amongst Young Devils." Danzo pointed out, genuinely impressed with Pamela.
"Pass?"
"I second." Koharu agreed.
"Speaking of whom," Serafall said as she changed the image from Pamela to Naruto. "Naruto Bael."
Skip, Next Evening…
"Oh, I see…" Sairaorg said as he and the rest of the peerage watched the recording of the Challenges as they ate. "That last attack on that… thing… with Guts was a pretty good combo."
"Thanks, wish it wasn't improvised though." Naruto slurped his ramen. "And I wish I didn't break Guts' arm."
"I don't think he minds." Sairaorg replied as he glanced at his Pawn. "He isn't the type of person to hold a grudge against a comrade."
*Ding-Dong*
"What could that be?" Kuisha asked her King who stood up.
Sairaorg left the room.
Returning several minutes later with a not well-hidden smirk.
He walked right up to Naruto, whose cheeks were swollen with ramen.
He looked more like a squirrel than a fox.
Sairaorg held out a letter.
A letter… which held the stamp of the Satan's.

His hand felt numb the moment he touched it, his fellow peerage mates surrounding him in anticipation as he carefully opened it.
To Naruto Bael,
We, Lucifer, Leviathan, Asmodeus, and Beelzebub along with the Council have thought long on our decision pertaining to the Supernova Challenges.
Along with Pamela Isley, Queen of Edward Zagan, you showed great willingness to work together, putting aside personal gain.
When the Challenges were interrupted, you did not hesitate to stop the invading forces, and worked along side your comrades to stop them.
Furthermore, you showed great development in martial arts and swordsmanship.
We wish you best of luck in further endeavors, for We, the Satan's, grant you the title of Supernova and the Rank of Mid-Class Devil.

"YOU GOT PROMOTED!" Ravel screamed into her phone, shaking the manor to its core.
"Yeah… I guess I impressed them enough to get promoted." Naruto restated on the other end. "I am not sure how, but I am pretty happy with the results."
"You should be MORE than happy, you should be excited!" Ravel stated with a big smile, laying across her bed within her bedroom. "When you come back we are going to throw you a party!"
"Sure, I can't wait… sorry, got to help clean up last nights party." Naruto said in an apologetic tone.
"Alright, see you soon." Ravel replied, blowing a kiss through the phone, her cheeks turning red.
She hung up her phone.
Jumping from her bed, not bothering to put pajamas on, Ravel rushed toward the kitchen.
"Lady Ravel…" Minami gasped when the Lady of the House entered. "Where is your decency?"
"Minami, how long will it take to bake a big cake…" Ravel asked, ignoring Minami's question.
"What is going on?" Vulcan asked as she and Sai returned from walking Loona and Onimaru.
"Naruto passed!" Ravel said with such excitement.
"Well, I guess I am not special." Sai said with a saddened smile as he pulled out his own letter. "I also passed."
Naberius Mansion…
Casca cried as she held Guts, his acceptance letter on the table.
Rickert, Judeau, and Pippin were cheering, all holding mugs of alcohol, for their King's further success.
Zagan Mansion…
"I passed?" Pamela said in surprise, her hair fluttering between actual hair and red leaves.
"Congratulations are in order, Pamela." Said her King, Edward Zagan.
Phenex Mansion…
"I am sorry, My King." Justin said as he bowed to Sabo. "I have brought great shame upon your house and name. Please, allow me to…"
Justin was silenced when Sabo pushed a dumpling into his mouth.
"I'm just happy you are alive, Justin." Sabo said with a relieved smile, putting his hand on Justin's shoulder, pulling him up. "Now come on. Riser is coming home soon, so let's help everyone get ready for his return."
Justin got teary eyed.
"Yes, My King."

"My, my, I am a Supernova now." Gin said as he read his letter, his smile bigger than before. "Can't say I didn't see this coming, after all…"

"MY ART WAS OVERSHADOWED! THAT IS RIDICULOUS!" Deidara screamed into the either as he threw a temper tantrum.
Meanwhile…
Standing in front of his mirror in his room, Naruto posed.
'Does this look stupid on me?' Naruto thought with concern as he Jojo Posed.
On his shoulders was a white jacket… but was being worn as a cape on Naruto's shoulders. On said shoulders were a red and Black stripe shoulder pad.
On the back was the word 'Supernova' embroidered into the back.
*Monkey D. Garp's Vice-Admiral jacket*
'Hm, probably gonna need some time thinking about it.' Naruto thought as he took it off. 'Probably go to Kamabakka and get it altered to fit better and look much cooler.'
Putting it with his belongings he planned on taking back with him, Naruto stretched his arms before heading down stairs.
He felt his phone ring in his pocket.
Pulling it out, Naruto saw he got a message from Koneko.
Don't forget the promise we made before you took the challenges.
*Blush Emoji*

"Promise?" Naruto whispered, looking toward the ceiling in thought before his cheeks turned red.
Flashback…
"Hey…" Koneko mumbled as she walked up to him. "Take the challenge."
"You still on that?" Naruto asked, deadpanning slightly.
"Naruto, if you do it, win or lose," Koneko got really close, her voice going from normal to a whisper. "I'll let you grope my breasts."
Flashback End…
An image of Koneko nervously covering herself before him entered Naruto's mind, arousing more images and thoughts that titillated the kitsune further.
"Hey, Naruto, we're all…" Regulas started to say when he approached Naruto, only for the kitsune to VIOLENTLY smash his head into the wall, giving a mighty cry.
"GET! OUT! OF! MY! HEAD!" He shouted with each smash.
Bleeding from his head, Naruto turned to the Lion.
"What were you saying?" Naruto asked as if nothing happened.
"That the party has started…" the lion slowly replied, looking at the damaged wall.
"Oh, cool, let's go." Naruto said as he shot Koneko a Winking emoji.
Kuoh, Koneko's Apartment…
Koneko, wearing a large shirt and shorts, nervously waited Naruto's response.
*PING*
Koneko opened her phone, smiling with a heavy blush at the Wink Emoji Naruto had sent her.
'Oh, lord…' Koneko thought as she pulled her legs up into a hug. 'I am doing it… I'm gonna let Naruto…'
Touching her own chest, Koneko felt an intense heat.
So intense was this physical heat that Koneko didn't notice her cat ears and tail pop into existence.
Her breathing got short and labored.
'No… no… NO!' Koneko chanted, stopping herself from her horny. 'Save this… save this for when…'
She looked at her hand, thinking it as Naruto's.
'For when he actually touches me…'
Her cheeks burned hotter.
But a cold bath solved that problem.
Meanwhile, Bael Mansion…
"CHEERS!" Sairaorg, Kuisha, Regulus, Ladora, Gandoma, Beruka, Liban, Misteeta, Corianna, and Naruto cheered.
They were two hours in to the party, and they had not even begun to deter.
The older of the peerage were drinking alcohol while the underage had juice.
"Naruto~" Corianna whispered into his ear, making him flinch. "Did you miss us?"
Naruto appeared across the room, hand raised with his index finger pointed at Corianna.
"Boo…" Corianna pouted as many laughed. 'He still hasn't forgiven me for that accident.'
Naruto once again felt his phone go off.
'A message from Ravel.' Naruto thought as he opened it.
To celebrate you and Sai becoming Supernova, I am taking everyone to the beach.

Skip, Two Days, Underworld, Phenex Beach…
"You do know I actually don't like open water." Naruto said bluntly as he, Sai, and Danjuro finished setting up everything as Naruto, Sai and the Butler/Bishop of Phenex already ankle deep in sand as the girls were changing in nearby changing rooms.
They were at the Phenex clan's private beach, with permission from Jonathan and Lyla of course.
Naruto, Sai, and Danjuro were currently wearing trunks and unzipped jackets.
Ravel had brought her entire peerage, Koneko, and Kurotama with her to the beach, which is where Naruto met them with his baggage for the return trip.
Despite the brightness of the sun, the clouds were particularly heavy, but did not detract from the beach's beauty.
Near the rocks closest to the road, Loona and Onimaru sunbathed on a blanket.
"Nya~" Kurotama purred as she rubbed herself against Naruto's leg.
"After we get home, you are getting a bath." Naruto said with a little dread in his voice.
Not because his cat hated water, oh, no, Kurotama liked bathing… for some reason.
It was going to be the sand she would track back to the house.
Kurotama rubbed her head against his leg one more time before trotting over to the hellhound and Tenko, settling down to sunbathe between them.
"Alright, boys~" Minami declared as she was the first one to step out of the changing room.
The tiny devil walked out, wearing a carmine-colored one-piece suit, a heart shape cut out on her chest.
She had foregone her usual eyeliner for a water-resistant brand.
Her pigtails were abandoned for the day for a braid.
Danjuro felt his heart race at the sight of his wife in a swim suit.
"Oh, my beloved," he said, sweeping her off of her feet… literally. "You are more beautiful than the moon and sun."
"Awe~" Minami responded, cupping her red face. "Thank you."
She kissed Danjuro before he put her down.
"Alright, we're done!"
Vulcan ran out.
Instead of a traditional swimsuit, Vulcan ran out with a black triangle bikini top while wearing cut-off jean shorts that went all the way up, showing the pockets underneath.
Her caramel skin glistened in the sun.
Sai felt his cheeks warm up.
"Hey, man, you're finally getting some color for your pale ass." Naruto smarmily commented.
He laughed when Sai hit him with Ink Dweller.
However, his laughter stopped as he saw Koneko and Ravel exit the changing rooms.
With her hair out of their pigtails, Ravel let her hair fall down her back. She wore a dark green string bikini, showing off her skin and some cheek.
Koneko, on the other hand, wore a pure white one piece with an orange sarong tied around her waist.
Naruto felt his heart race as the two walked out.
"Is everything ready?" Ravel asked Danjuro.
"Yes, it is, My Lady." Danjuro said with a smile.
Smiling, Ravel walked before the group, clearing her throat.
"Alright, everyone~" She called out, getting the small group's attention. "Today we are celebrating the success of Sai and Naruto for becoming Supernova's. Let's congratulate them and then party!"
Taking a deep breath, everyone turned to Naruto and Sai.
"CONGRATULATIONS ON PASSING!" they all cheered, pulling out confetti poppers from nowhere and pulling them.
The confetti covered the two Supernova's, both nervously smiling from the praise.
Naruto's ears perked up when he heard the grill start up.
"Alright, meat~" Naruto said as he wiped some drool away, seeing Danjuro start cooking.
He went to help as Vulcan and Sai ran toward the water with Minami and Ravel, the four intending to play in the water, but Naruto was stopped when he felt a pull on his jacket.
It was Koneko, and she was avoiding his gaze.
"Yes?" Naruto asked nervously.
He hadn't forgotten their deal.
Not since she reminded him.
"W… what do you think?" Koneko asked as she pointed out her swimsuit. "I know it isn't as cute as the battle kimono you got me, but I wanted something practical."
"It suits you." Naruto complimented. "It really draws the eye to the entirety of you, not just one or two areas."
Koneko giggled.
'Such a textbook answer.' She thought.
"Anyway, you also staying away from…" Naruto turned to the water, his face full of dread. "The water…"
"Yeah, you?" Koneko asked in the same dull tone.
"Yes."
Neither Naruto NOR Koneko could swim.
Thus, they avoided the water.
"But…" Koneko said as she took Naruto's arm in hers. "I want to…"
Her face flushed.
"Keep my end of the deal."
She raised her open hand, making a 'gripping' motion a few times.
Naruto's eyes were white circles as blood start to tickle the end of his nose.
"h-h-Hey, Danjuro, Koneko and I are gonna go for a walk, okay?" Naruto called out to the Bishop.
"No problem, just don't be too long." Danjuro replied, not looking up from the barbeque.
Naruto and Koneko subtly (Read as unsubtly) walked down the road to find a nice spot.
Kurotama/Kuroka took notice of this rushed behavior and got up.
She trotted behind the duo.
'What are Shirone and Naruto doing?' Kuroka thought in confusion.
Seeing the duo walk back into the beach before walking on the water via chakra, they entered a small cavern that was not easily accessible.
'VERY SUS!' Kuroka thought, stars in her eyes. 'Could it be?'
Carefully using chakra, Kuroka edged closer to the entrance, clinging to the walls.
"… do this, Koneko?" Kuroka heard as she neared the two teens.
"I guess over…" Koneko nervously replied as they came into Kuroka's view.
Naruto's hands were nervously opened and closed as Koneko fidgeted.
'Are we really doing this?' they both thought as Naruto raised his hands.
Seeing them, Koneko took a deep breath and presented her chest.
"Congratulations on becoming a Supernova, Naruto." Koneko stated with her eyes closing. "Go ahead, accept your gift."
Naruto saw her blush, making his own face turn a deeper red as he raised his hands up to her chest.
'O-ho~' Kuroka thought as she watched Naruto's hands touch Koneko's chest.
Koneko gasped from the stimulation.
Her nipples went hard instantly upon contact and she felt the familiar burning sensation spread through her body.
Naruto felt his body heat up in arousal as well.
"More~" Koneko mumbled.
"Huh?" Naruto said as he started to remove his hands, only for Koneko to grab his wrists and pull them back.
"MORE~" She said loudly, lust filling her voice.
Naruto gently squeezed.
Koneko bit her lip in a failed attempt to stifle a moan.
Kuroka watched diligently, not wanting to miss a single… was that wave getting bigger?
Unprepared for an interruption, the wave struck Kuroka, knocking her off the wall and into the water.
Naruto and Koneko turned to the water when they heard Kurotama cry out and flail in the water.
"KUROTAMA!"
Naruto ran out and grabbed his cat, his horny left in the dust as Koneko slowly collapsed to her knees.
Thankfully, she had the sarong or else she'd have to explain the stain.
