Chapter 45 – Journey to the Unknown

Hermione Granger

Sandalphon and I step into the Veil together. It's a feeling I've never had before. It's pure weightlessness. I close my eyes at the feeling, I savor it for just a moment. When I feel the euphoric weightlessness disappear, I open my eyes and we are standing on the other side. The room we are in, is well lit and appears to be a traveling room. The room is large and made from a very pale pink marble. The ceiling is at least 30 feet high. Along the wall are statues of various beings. Humans, unicorns, a creature shaped like a bear with a lion's main, and a human figure with four arms. There are several Veils around the room and many of them have queues lined up to go through various Veils.

Sandalphon, who is now dressed in a mint green cloak, takes my hand and says, "Follow me, we need to get you acclimated. This planet has a bit more nitrous oxide and oxygen in the atmosphere. If we don't get you acclimated first you'll be high as a kite." He takes me out of the travel room another large room that reminds me of a train terminal. There are several booths with attendants.

We walk to a booth and the attendant at the desk boringly says, "Welcome to Zion. What planet have you arrived from?" He looks human, but his skin is of the faintest shade of blue.

I begin to say, Earth, but Sandalphon says, "Arcadia."

The attendant raises an eyebrow. "Visitors are not permitted to come from Arcadia without a special license from the Interplanetary Council."

Sandalphon just smiles at the attendant, and pulls out a piece of paper to hand to the attendant.

The attendant reads the paper and looks at Sandalphon. "I'll be right back."

Sandalphon looks at me and states, "He's checking the authentication. The people of this planet are all wizards. The Deities, who live here, are openly governing the planet. I have a permit from Gaia to enter any planet. She is still after all the Guardian of Deities."

I look around and hear various conversations, "Sandalphon, why is everyone speaking English here?"

He laughs, "It's the magic of your ring, my dear. It also works as a translator. I assure you, you would be unable to understand a single word without it. Zion uses a derivative of an ancient Greek language. It would be the difference between your English and Olde English, for example. The similarities are too far apart to be able converse properly."

The attendant returns, "I apologize for the delay, High Priest. What is the name of your companion?"

I look at Sandalphon, because I have been having a bit of identity crisis lately with being back in England. Normally Mia Granger rolls of my tongue. With so many people addressing me as Hermione, I find, I miss it. Hermione was someone I tried for a long time to forget, but now, I'm finding she will always be a part of me.

Sandalphon answers for me, "Hermione Jean Ophelia Dagworth-Granger, The Morrigan of Arcadia."

The attendant raises his eyebrow and asks, "How long will you stay in Zion?"

Sandalphon answers, "No more than ten Zion hours."

The attendant nods, "Very well you may escort The Morrigan of Arcadia to the Acclimation Room." He hands me a paper.

Sandalphon takes my hand again and guides me to a large room with chairs, and one very large desk. Sitting behind the desk is a Giant. She is at least 20 feet tall. When she sees me she transfigures herself and the desk into the same size as me. I hand her the paper I received.

She smiles, "Thank you, you may head to station Sigma."

Sandalphon guides me to a chair. An mask appears and has a cord attached to it from the wall. "This will start with the air from your planet and gradually adjust to this planet. The process will take you about thirty of your minutes. I'll be back."

I place the mask over my mouth and nose and slowly breath in. There are five other people in the room. They don't necessarily look much different from humans. Skin tones are the biggest difference. One has a lime green complexion with wide purple eyes and emerald green hair. There is a child, or what appears to be a child, with pink skin and bright turquoise hair. Another appears to have creamy peach skin. Not the peach my mother called a peaches and cream complexion, but the light orange that was popularized in the 80's and early 90's. My mum painted our dining room the same shade in 1989. She's very tall with brown hair pulled into a very intricate updo. She also has four arms. The man across from me has periwinkle skin with black hair and reddish brown eyes. The final person in the room, their skin is a soft gray, but seems to reflect light as if they were dipped in rainbow glitter. This person has purple eyes, and no hair. They are wearing a cloak and I'm unable to tell their gender, but they are strikingly beautiful all the same. I lean back and close my eyes so I'm not awkwardly staring at people.

After a few minutes I feel the slight change in the air I'm breathing. The air has an intoxicating floral scent the likes I've never experienced. Its faint and calming. It reminds of the oxygen bars Sasha used to drag me to three years ago. She was going through a high on life phase. We would go to the bar and instead of serving drinks, they had an apparatus that allowed you to breathe in pure oxygen usually scented with something appealing. I can tell the difference, and I feel lighter. Not high, but more like I drank a couple glasses of champagne, loose and freeing.

I enjoy the feeling and before I know it I received a tap on the shoulder and open my eyes and Sandalphon is standing there. "Let's get out of here."

We leave the building and I gasp. I see three suns in the faint lavender sky. One is bright similar to our sun, one that appears to be pink and is larger in size, but not brightness, and very large sun of the palest of orange that appears to take up half the sky, I take another look and it appears to be another planet extremely close. There are large slightly pink clouds. The building we exit from has large columns all made from the same pink marble. Looking around, other buildings are made of different colored marble and are just as large and ornate as the building we were in. The streets are made of a blue stone and are lined with trees with black trunks and jeweled toned leaves of bright red, purple, sapphire blue, and fuchsia pink. People are all dressed in similar clothes as one would think ancient Greeks dressed in, but all seemed to be made from the same silk in different colors. Sandalphon takes my hand and leads me to a stone bench in what appears to be a park.

He laughs, "I'm glad you could see this place during their autumn. The planet usually looks like a pastel fairy threw up all over it, but autumn here is the loveliest of all the planets. I knew you would love this planet. Here I brought you some dreamberry wine." He pulls out a gold goblet and pours from a clay jug. "Drink slowly, you are still acclimating to the air. I don't want to have to carry you from passing out, and you don't want to miss your surprise."

I take a sip of the wine and it tastes of Strawberries, mango, and a hint of mint tea. It's divine. I must have moaned a little bit, because Sandalphon laughs, "What do you taste? It's different for every one. It's similar to Amortentia, in it tastes like what you love the most. I stay away from it, it tastes like roasted pelorovis to me. They became extinct about 2 million years ago and nothing tastes as good."

I smile at him, "Did you eat them all?"

He smiles, "No, they were eventually bred into a smaller more manageable species. Obviously not my decision, but one must learn to adapt."

"Can I ask a couple questions?"

He laughs, "You mean an exhausting amount of questions until your curiosity is fulfilled?"

I laugh, "Semantics, but yes."

He sighs. "We do some time to spare. You may fill your curiosity until then."

Really?! Where do I start? "If my father was a descendant of the Morrigan, why couldn't his father ask one of the Deities to repair his magical core allowing him to be the Morrigan?"

Sandalphon laughs, "Because one, your father made the decision to live as a human. He was given the option from his father and the Deities when he turned 21. Richard was given all the information of being the Morrigan. Your grandparents gave him a full magical education despite his damaged core, but when given the option, your father wanted to stay a mere human. He detested the wizarding society as a whole, and wanted nothing to do with people who would never accept him as he was. He loved your grandparents, and never denied them access to him. He wanted to live where he was accepted. Your father was quite charismatic and had a great many friends while he was still in university. He didn't want to give up his dreams. The second reason is much more complicated. The easy answer is because of you. Your existence was prophesied one hundred thousand years ago. Gaia would have granted your father his powers, but she didn't want to. You were meant to rise above your limitations. Had you not have suffered in the ways you have, you never would have been the person you would have needed to become. You would have grown up spoiled, you would have been sorted into Slytherin. You would have followed your mate into the war. You are quite loyal and would have followed your mate until the end. No you needed the oppression you suffered to gain the empathy and determination to fight the wrongs you believe should be changed."

I sigh, there it is again, "Ugh, my mate? So it's true then, Draco is my soulmate?"

He smiles, "Destined to be apart throughout time until they face each other on opposing sides and live to walk together in peace. It's taken a bit too much blood shed for you two to be together and we thought many times we would have to wait another life time for you two to find each other again. You both had many close calls. The closest you two have been since the beginning was during the 100 year war. You were Jeanne d'Arc."

What? "I was Joan of Arc in a previous life?"

He smiles, "Your soul was. You've always been quite the warrior. After all, you were the soul who found a way to escape Paradise to ask for help from Gaia after your soulmate betrayed you. He sold you to another man to be a sexual slave. You met your soulmate later and told him you would never forgive him until he offers you a sincere apology and beheaded him on the battlefield during the Great Deity War. You were killed right after, and landed on his body. Did you think soulmates were just a term? True soulmates such as you and Draco are recycled souls from the Deities who perished. Some do not have mates their mates are living Deities. Those mateless souls are the souls we have used to split and make new souls. So Joan of Arc had visions of her soulmate Charles the VII of France and fought for him to become ruler. She stood by his side as he was crowned, and he betrayed her to the English. Your soul was quite angered by the whole mess and swore off Divination for all eternity. Thankfully you will have some very meddlesome little spirits who were genius enough to correct the timeline to the best of their abilities. I can't wait for you to meet them."

I look at him confused, and he laughs. "I shouldn't tell you, but you are already somewhat aware of their future existence."

I think for a moment, "The twins. Aponi told Draco not to let them learn time magic. Did they mess with the Mirror of Erised?"

He laughs, "Nothing gets past you. I caught them in your room a few days ago. They had petrified Sasha and Theo and threatened to erase their memories of each other if they, or Sasha rather didn't stop the adverse comments about Draco Malfoy. I, of course altered your friends memories, but left the bit about being nicer. The twins told me that they knew they had already intervened in the time line and they were simply there to fix it for the right outcome. Otherwise their older sister and brother would have never been born because you would not have given Draco a chance for another five years."

"WAIT! You're telling me they somehow broke into my Vault and tampered with the Mirror of Erised so Draco and I would forgive each other faster?" I can't believe this!

He laughs, "They do share your blood, they also blood bonded with Hester who has access to your vaults. Blood bonds are infinite and continue through space and time. Hester's memory has also been altered after the event. The twins weren't wrong, they did correct the timeline to bring you and Draco together faster. What you saw in the mirror opened you to the possibilities you would have denied yourself for years. You and Draco have five of the most powerful children the wizarding world will see. Your eldest daughter will be very good in blood magic, charms, and transfiguration. She'll take the Black Seat and her charisma and drive will lead British wizarding society to new heights. Your next son will bring the Malfoy name to new glory and they will rise to the top of society in both the wizarding world and the muggle world when he reclaims the Dukedom. He'll be the C.E.O of Enchantex, and he'll take technology to a new level. The twins, though they accomplish a little more than intrusiveness and top levels in society, their children will solve the big problems of the world and scarcely avoid prison while doing so. Your youngest is a Potions genius and finds cures to most muggle diseases. He'll be a powerful Morrigan and unite the Wizarding World with other wizarding planets across the galaxy. Of course this could change, but that is the current trajectory."

Information overload. "So your not invested in me for myself, but for my children?"

He laughs, "Oh my sweet girl. One should never know their own fate. You make your difference in the world too, Hermione. You would have discovered the twins discrepancies eventually, they are smart, but lack all discretion."

I drain my goblet. "How many lifetimes have Draco and I crossed paths? You told me one, but I assume there are more."

Sandalphon laughs, "Not as many as you would think, maybe twenty. We don't typically let a soul be reborn too soon. Your soul needs to recharge before being placed back into another vessel. Other wise it opens too many questions such as unexplained phobias, remembering your past lives," he nudges my side with his elbow playfully, "or aversions to Divination. Our souls are energy. I as a Deity have the ability to manipulate all energy. You as a witch have the ability to manipulate physical energy. I can create something from nothing, you have to follow the physical laws of magic. Your ability is fine, but the Deities are amazing. We are 32 billion light years away from Earth. I can communicate with Gaia in my head should I choose to. It takes great power for a wizard to communicate through legilimens with someone from across the room. The powers are the same, but yours are limited because of the vessel your soul lives, is mortal."

I tilt my head and ask, "Aren't Deities mortal too? Didn't you lose 84% of your population during the Great Deity War?"

He shrugs and says, "We aren't perishable anymore. Gaia fixed the mortal issue when she created The Guf. Our energies collect there and we are able to transform into our old forms, or new forms as Jeliel did when she was killed in Pompeii and became Dina."

Hmmm, "If you can do that now, why couldn't the others do that as well, the ones that died in the war?"

He shakes his head, "Because Gaia said no. She has her reasons, and she was unwilling to share them. I'm sure it's to remind the Deities they are responsible for the consequences of their actions."

That is reasonable I suppose. "In the Bible, it says that she spoke with Moses and to give him the Ten Commandments, why did she tell him her name was Yahweh, or was it a tale?"

Sandalphon smiles, "She has never given her name to a mortal, until you. She always sent her guard to handle humans before the ban was made to not interfere with humans. Micheal, Zadkeil, Gabriel, Azrael, Raphael, Jophiel, Uriel, Haniel, Cassiel, Camael, Metatron, and myself we had the most contact with humans. However, the stories in your Bible, Torah, and Quran have things quite wrong. They are dramatizations of what really happened. The mythologies and legends of the gods are mostly entertainment. Humans love a good story, but reality tends to bore them easily. They change the story to sensualize the reality. Movies are a good example. They take a great story and change it to what they want it to be with perfectly beautiful people to portray an average human. Most of the stories of the Gods are quite simply dramatizations. Cronus was not the father of Zeus. He was the first to name himself king and Zeus overpowered him in a battle. Socrates was a Deity who suppressed his magic and disguised himself as a human, and told a great many tales. He wanted to pass knowledge to humans and started a school."

Hmmmm…."Socrates once said, 'A good person can never be harmed, because whatever misfortune he may suffer, his virtue will remain intact.' Gaia told me, the one time I met her, you have to find salvation within yourself, not God. Buddhist believe that worshipping one creator detracts us from seeking enlightenment. It's all the same message. Be a good person. Then why are there religions to begin with?"

Sandalphon answers with a smirk, "Because humans psychologically need to believe there is something bigger than themselves and there are consequences to their actions. Religions were created by wizards to gain power over humans, there are very few wizards who hold any sort of religious beliefs because most religions have been corrupted by greed."

I take a deep breath and pinch the bridge of my nose with my fingers. I watch a small animal walk over to us. It looks like a fat pink pomeranian with a bunny nose and long droopy ears. "Sandalphon, will this thing try to eat us?"

He smirks, "Possibly. It's a canipus, they are quite ferocious." He looks at me and laughs. "It's your dreamberry wine, she smells." He conjures a handful of berries and hands them to me. "They feed off them in the wild. This should hold her over and give her lovely dreams."

I look at the berries and they are orange, yellow, and red. Similar to a blackberry in shape with the druplets all varied in beautiful fall shades. I toss one to the creature. "Do I get another handful of berries to harvest with my DigiGro and make big money on Dreamberry Wine?"

He side eyes me, "I'll have to submit a form to the Intergalactic Council for approval on your behalf. You'll need a spice from the Andromeda Galaxy to balance out the effects as well. Don't eat one of those yourself, you'll be put into a dream state for three days."

"Seriously?"

Then a voice behind us says, "No, I'm Sirius!"

I jump up and turn around and before I know it, I awkwardly hop over the bench and land into Sirius Black's arms crying hysterically. I never thought I'd ever have this chance. He still smells of expensive cologne, cigarettes, and firewhiskey. His arms are holding me just as tight as I am him. We stay like that for several minutes and when I pull back he looks my age, healthy, and so fucking happy!

He smirks at me, "Hello, Kitten."

I laugh and hug him again still crying, "I-I've missed you so fucking much!"

He holds me tight and is rubbing circles on my back. He says, "I've missed you too, Kitten. Fucks! I've missed you!" He takes a handkerchief and wipes my eyes. "I never imagined having this chance to see the beautiful woman you have become. Sandy has kept me updated, but I can't tell you how great it is to see you."

I look at Sandalphon, "You have been visiting him? All these years? Oh Sandy, thank you for allowing me to see him!" I leave Sirius' arms and hug Sandy.

I'm so full of love, thankfulness, and questions. I look back at Sirius and ask Sandy, "Can we take him back with us?"

Sandy looks to Sirius and Sirius smiles, and takes my hand and says, "As much as I would love to go home there are complications. Come, let me take you to my little abode."

He takes my hand and apparates us to a what appears to be a large three story modern cubed home made of sapphire blue stone and black wood. It looks so out of place in this valley surrounded by mountains with beautiful colored trees. The grass is dark and bright purple, and there are lavender and pink animals that reminds me of sheep in a large field next to the house. I see a few stone buildings, and a large vineyard that raises up on a rolling hill behind the house.

Sirius spreads his arms out and says, "Welcome to The James Lupin Grange and Vineyard. Follow me."

We walk to the house and enter the foyer. A statuesque woman is standing there. Her skin is the slightest shade of pink and she has kind emerald eyes and golden hair. She has a brilliant smile, a dainty nose, and soft feminine features. Sirius walks up to her and kisses her.

"Zephyr, I'd like to introduce you to someone special from my home planet. This is Hermione Granger." He looks at me and says, "Kitten, I'd like to introduce you to my lovely wife, Zephyr."

I smile and Zephyr takes both my hands, "I am so excited to meet someone so special to my Sirius. He speaks of his home a great deal. He says you were close as a daughter to him. Welcome to our home."

"Thank you Zephyr for having me." She is stunning. Sirius leads me into the back of the house where I hear sweet giggles. I smile and look at him, and he winks back.

We enter a large room and in the middle of the room are two children who appear to be 5 and 3 in age. They both have silky black hair the oldest is a girl with dark hair very faint pink skin and striking gray eyes. The little boy is his father's replica, but with his mother's emerald green eyes.

"Kitten I'd like to introduce you to Hermione Andromeda Black she is almost two and Harry Remus Black whom just turned one last week."

My eyes fill up with tears, "Oh Sirius, they are so beautiful. How are they only one and two?"

He laughs, "Time works much differently here than at home. Our days are about three times as long here as they are at home. Years are also about three times as long. It's taken some time to get used to. How long have I been away?"

I frown slightly, "Almost fourteen years, but I can't tell you how happy I am to see you. I can't say I took your leaving my life particularly good. Viola or Ophelia, I should say attacked me one night when she caught me drinking firewhiskey."

His little girl walks up to me and says, "What's your name? You're pretty."

I kneel down and say, "My name is Hermione."

She looks aghast, "No! That's my name, you can't have the same name as me!"

I smile, "I'm sorry, you're right. How about Mia. My name is Mia, too."

She looks at me a moment, "That is acceptable. Mia are you from the big city?"

I look at Sirius and he shrugs, I answer, "I am from a very large city far away."

She nods, "You're dress is very pretty."

I laugh, "Thank you, but yours is prettier."

She giggles and twirls.

Sirius interrupts, "Hermione you have to prepare for your lessons. Mia, Sandy, and I are going to talk in my office."

She frowns, "I can do my lessons tomorrow and talk with Mia, too."

Sirius laughs, "Nice try, but your mother will be in to start soon."

He leads me and Sandy down the hall and we enter a study.

I sit down on a settee. I can't stop smiling. "You're a father, Sirius. It's amazing. Harry just found out he is having his third child in seven months."

He smiles, "Yes, Sandy has become quite the vessel for information. What is this about you being soulmates with a Malfoy?"

We spent hours catching up I told him about the war, about the horrible survivors guilt I had. We talked about Draco and my leaving England. I told him about college and my new friends. I told him how I found out about Ophelia, and the memories I viewed.

In return he told me that when he went through the Veil he landed in a Terminal on the planet where the Interplanetary Council is located, Nirvana. He was placed in a holding cell for a couple of years until they determined where to put him. They educated him about Deities and other planets. When he completed his education they allowed him three choices of planets to live on. They allowed him to visit all three planets and he chose Zion because it was the most beautiful planet.

When he arrived on Zion Sandalphon met with him and gave him back his youth, and Sirius was 21 again, the age he was when he went to Azkaban. Sandalphon set him up with a large amount of gold and gave him knowledge for the animals he is raising and the recipe for dreamberry wine. Sirius built his house based on Earth architecture and created his modern house. He gained some notoriety in the area and met Zephyr. She was a daughter of one of the officials who helped him meet people and gain connections on the planet. They married after half of a Zion year and had their two children. He loves his family very much and is happy on Zion.

Over the several hours we spent talking and catching up, I felt such a weight lift in my heart. I know I'll never be able to tell anyone about Sirius, but it's so freeing knowing he is living this amazing life that is making him so happy. We have been sharing stories for the last hour. I've told him about my partying in uni. He shared how he enjoyed being single the first Zion year he was here. He has made some good friends with people in the nearest city and several of his neighbors. He told me there are no prejudices in this society. People are caring, and help the less fortunate. He is a local representative in their government and stays busy.

He and I shared Hogwarts stories. He was laughing about when I told him about leading Dolores Umbridge into the Forbidden Forest and said, "Kitten, you have always had a bit of a vindictive side. Surely there is one story from Hogwart's you haven't shared."

I laugh, "There is one you do not know about. Do you remember in Fifth Year when I admitted my small crush on Ron Weasley?"

He smirks, "He was a right git."

I laugh, "You're correct. He still is. After the Battle at the Department of Mysteries, when you went through the Veil, I was in a terrible place. Ron asked me to go out with him, and I was not in the head space to consider such a request. I told him I needed time. He said he understood because I was still healing for a horrible curse from Dolohov. Three months later, he started going out with Lavender Brown. I was furious not because he chose someone else, but he would choose a slag like Lavender. I roomed with her for all of Hogwarts and she was always going on about boys with Pavarti. I made quite a few assumptions about Lavender over the years. Well, it turns out she wasn't the slag I assumed she was. She was quite innocent, and one night she came to me for some advise."

He raises his eyebrow, and I continue, "She cornered me and asked me what a blow job was. I laughed and asked her why she would ask me such a question. She says she thought since I read so much I would know better than anyone else. She just really needed some pointers so she could make it good for Ron. I saw red, but kept my cool. I asked her what she knew and she said nothing. She only knew the term, but didn't know the mechanics of it. So I nodded to her and asked her if she ever heard of gonorrhea. She said no. I told her all men carry gonorrhea. The only place on a woman's body equipped to counteract the gonorrhea men carry is their vaginas. When a couple have sexual intercourse, men can't pass gonorrhea to women because the fluids in the vagina fight the gonorrhea all men carry. I told her if a man's penis touches any other part of a woman's body such as their hands or mouth the woman will contract gonorrhea and large puss filled sores will break out on any part of her body that touches a man's penis."

He laughs, "She believed that?"

I laugh, "She completely believed me. I actually couldn't believe it myself. So I gave her detailed instructions on how to give a blow job. I told her all she needed to do, was ask him pull out his penis. I advised her she needed to stay about five inches from it and blow as hard as she could on it. I told her it tickles and the guy will love it. I taught her a breathing exercise to perform the best blowing technique possible."

He laughs and closes his eyes. "That is cruel."

I smirk, "It gets better. That Friday night I'm sitting in the Common Room with Neville and Harry when she comes running into the Common Room screaming and sobbing. She runs right up to her room, and when Ron comes through the door, he sees me and yells, "You bitch!" I tried to act innocent, but lasted about ten seconds before I raised an eye brow and started laughing. I didn't know she would believe me or react that way. I found out from Harry a year later, that he took her to an alcove and he asked her for a blow job, and she gets on her knees and asks him to take it out and he's pleading with her to touch it, and she says she's not allowed to. She proceeds to blow on it as hard as she could. He asked her what the hell she was doing and she said blowing him. He proceeds to beg her to touch it and kiss it and she screams and runs away from him sobbing. It's a shame, she really hated me after that. She ended up married to Ron and they have twins toddler girls and one on the way."

He smiles, "What about your happy ending, Kitten? You win a war and change the world, what's next?"

What's is next? "I don't know. I've focused so much on building my company. I held on to this hate I have for England for so long and after six days being back I'm questioning everything. I find out, I had this amazing Grandmother who really did move mountains to get me home. The laws have been changed and the prejudices are mostly gone. I missed a decade of my friend's lives and I have missed them so much. I'm not sure it is enough to uproot my life to move to a country that rejected me. It's a lot to process. On top of everything else, I can't hold on to my anger towards Draco. He is still the most beautiful man I've ever seen. He's grown from a spoiled prat into this kind, laid back, and intelligent man. He makes me feel safe and I want nothing more than to get lost in him. I'm terrified of falling in love with him, and him changing his mind. No matter what I have accomplished, no matter who I have become, I still can't leave behind the insecure awkward girl I was growing up. Maybe I could run away and help you make wine?"

He laughs, "You would hate it. No, Kitten. That young girl who fought to prove herself exceeded all expectations. You have become an amazing woman. I'm so proud of all you have accomplished. You have become the lioness I knew you would be. I would do just about anything for the chance to go home again, but I love my life here. Zephyr and the kids make it worth never seeing green trees and a blue skies again. From what you've told me, you have a future there and you should follow your heart for once. Your brain could probably use the holiday. Don't live a life of regrets. I regretted so much of my past, it consumed me. When I arrived here, I let all of that go and started fresh. I don't regret leaving the past in the past. I have daily reminders of the ones I loved the most. Harry Remus and Hermione Andromeda living on James Lupin Grange in a world that is beautiful beyond imagination in a society that loves each and every person. I have all the reminders of home, and Sandy supplies me with missing comforts." He gets up and walks to a door in his study and opens it. I follow him. It's an overly sized closet full of firewhiskey, cigars, cigarettes, and McVitie's Milk Chocolate Biscuits.

I take out my phone and take a picture of him. Sandy takes a couple pictures of the two of us. I take a photo of him and his family.

We join his family for dinner and I learn Zephyr has a wonderful sense of humor and is the kindest woman I have ever met. She is a wonderful mother, but most importantly she loves Sirius fiercely. It is all I could ever want for him.

I found a peace knowing he is still alive. Thinking the universe was without the amazing person Sirius is, made losing him much more painful. He's happy and it's the best look on him imaginable.

As we leave, Sirius hugs me, and says, "I'm going to miss you, Kitten. You really were the daughter I never had. Follow your heart, my little lioness. I'll always love you, and expect to see you again."

Sirius looks at Sandy and he acknowledges the request.

I tear up, "I love you, too. I'll all make sure Sandy let's me see you soon!"

Sandy and I depart James Lupin Grange and he looks at me and says, "We have one more stop."
