Note: It's been a while… for my Sakura Haruno One-shot stories, so here is a Yami Yugi x Sakura Haruno one-shot. Sakura and the Yugioh gang are sixteen in this, just saying.

Summary: For the first time in Yami's life (that he could remember) he had fallen in love with someone, but not just anyone - this girl was different from all the girls that he had met. She is strong-willed and has the strength of a thousand men or maybe more… with just one punch or the touch of her finger, she defeated her enemies. She also had a temper but was also very caring and kind towards people. (Well unless your Naruto that is… XP) He couldn't stop himself from falling in love with Sakura Haruno.

Fall in Love at First Sight

Yami never even thought that he would ever fall in love… especially at first fight. What caught his attention was her short bubble-gum pink hair and emerald-green eyes. Yes, her pink hair! It was odd to see pink hair on a teenage girl (she even said it was natural) not like he could say anything, he had tricolored hair… and when he wasn't in control of Yugi's body and he was in his soul room, his eyes are crimson… but when he saw her, standing there in the girls school uniform and that short skirt, showing off though long legs (even though she was only 5'3 in height…) he had to groan to himself, did he have a thing for long beautiful legs, why yes he did… he cursed under his breath. And hers were nicely toned too… not only that, her face and body were beautiful to him, and he loved the way she smiled. He had been struck, for the first time in his life - that he could remember - he had fallen in love with the unknown girl known as Sakura Haruno.

But what he didn't know was that she was a kunoichi, a female shinobi or ninja. She was the strongest kunoichi there was in the shinobi nation of her age, she even surpassed her master, Lady Tsunade. One day though when his friends were in trouble, he found out who she really is, but instead of being angry or wary of her… he felt himself falling deeper in love with her, she after all did save him and Yugi from an attack and he saw how strong she was. She didn't want to reveal who she really was, but she also didn't want her friends to get hurt. And she knew about him… and could tell the difference between Yugi and him.

He felt his heartbeat quicken.

She really wasn't a normal kind of girl; he could even feel it in her aura.

"Yami…have you ever been in love before?" Sakura asked him one day when they were alone. He blinked at her, but then he furrowed his brow when he saw the sad look on her face… "Not to my knowledge … is something wrong, Sakura?" he asked with worry. Sakura bit her lip, there he was again, worried about her… she hung her head. "I-I…" she blushed brightly, and he blinked, but he waited for her to speak. "I think I'm in love with someone." Yami swallowed hard at this, breathe, Yami, breathe. But who was she in love with?

"But I'm afraid to say anything to him about it - how I really feel." She said softly as she continued to look down at her feet. Yami stared at her for a moment and then put his arm around her shoulder and drew her closer to him. She stiffened at first, but soon relaxed, but her blush was still there on her cheeks as he leaned his face near her ear. "Why do you say that? You are never afraid of anything." He said softly, she looked up at him and into his crimson-violet eyes with her own emerald-green eyes, searching his eyes. "I-I had a bad experience with the last boy I was in love with… his name is Sasuke Uchiha, and he doesn't love me, he told me as much in such a hateful way…" she tried to hold back the tears, but she just couldn't.

Sakura, I'm not in love with you… so stop bothering me!

She then felt Yami hugging her, he pressed his face against her neck, and she felt his breath against her neck. She was surprised at first - Yami wasn't one for hugging, she had never seen him do it before, but she ended up wrapping her arms around his waist in the tight hug that she felt so safe in. And then he said something that she thought he would never say…

"I'm going to send this Sasuke Uchiha to the Shadow Realm!" he threatened. Yes, that would please him greatly.

Sakura gasped and shook her head. "No! Don't do that, Yami!"

He looked up from her neck and looked down at the horrified look on her face and he frowned. "But he hurt you, I will not let anyone hurt you in any way, Sakura." He said in a serious tone. Oh, man - he was serious! She closed her eyes and then reopened them. "Yami, I'm a big girl, I can take care of myself… I don't need you sending people to the Shadow Realm because someone doesn't return my love." she said softly. Why did Yami have to care so much for her? Why did she have to love him so much? "And yet, here you are crying over that bastard." He said with narrowed eyes.

"Please, Yami… for me, don't do it."

He let out a sigh. "Alright, but only for you." She smiled brightly at him, and he turned away from her slightly and blushed, but only a little tinted his cheeks. "Who is the guy that you like… anyone I know?" he sounded jealous? Sakura blinked, no - that couldn't be possible, could it?

"Well…" she began as she blushed again. "You know him, very well in fact." She said as she gave him a shy look. He looked at her then, surprised… who could it be? That Sakura was interested in? "He's really handsome and is always super nice towards me…" It couldn't be Yugi, could it? He swallowed hard at the thought. "He's taller than me, and he even threatened to send my first love to the Shadow Realm, and he is the one hugging me right now…" she said as she looked up at him.

He let go of her then, out of shock, not because he didn't want to be near her, he was just so surprised - he had never expected that she would ever love him back. "You love me?" he whispered softly.

She nodded as she looked down at her feet. "I-I know you probably don't feel the same way- Yami wha!?"

He suddenly grabbed her upper arms and pulled her close to him and leaned down and kissed her hard, Sakura's eyes went wide at his action. She closed her eyes and felt herself moan against his lips, he suddenly licked her lips, and she gasped, which gave him the opportunity to deepen the kiss and Sakura felt like a gooey mess against him. He then let their lips part from each other, and she finally opened her eyes and looked into his and saw a heated gaze… he wanted her, badly. She blushed madly. "I have been in love with you the moment I saw you, do you know how much I hate when some other man is around you?" he asked her. She shook her head no. "It kills me inside; I am filled with so much jealousy it burns me…" he let go of her arms and took hold of her face and leaned his forehead against her own. "Ra… I love you so much, that it hurts, and I've never felt this way before - at least I don't think so…"

"You hid it very well." She said with a small smirk. "I'm glad you're the one that I love as well. No one has ever made me feel the way you make me feel." she said with a shy blush. She let her hand touch his face.

"Not even that Sasuke Uchiha?" he asked.

She smiled. "No, not even Sasuke. Only you can make me feel like I'm a puddle of mush with just a kiss." she admitted. Why wouldn't her blush go away! He chuckled.

"Good." He then kissed her forehead softly. "Say you'll be mine, Sakura."

"I'll be yours, now and forever."

There should be more Yami Yugi x Sakura Haruno stories! I'm a pro-Sakura Haruno fan! I think she is super cool, even before she became the strongest kunoichi (at least that is what I think) Sakura haters can go away… no haters allowed! I might do a HitsuSaku or YugiSaku next… depending on how things turn out. Hopefully, someone enjoyed this. Until next time, Marik's Girl XD
