Chapter 62

RAW was in Richmond, Virginia and Drew was facing Chad in a match.

The last several weeks have been a whirlwind for Michelle with her being part of the main roster and dealing with her estranged father. She even had to revoke the NXT Women's Championship and competed in a couple of qualifying matches for Money in the Bank to no avail; but Michelle was willing to stay on track.

Michelle was backstage as she was getting her makeup when Autumn approached her.

"Hey, girl!"

"Hey," Michelle said.

"So, I heard that your boyfriend is facing my fiancé tonight."

"Oh, yes, I kinda figured that was gonna happen since he did face Dolph last week."

"Well, Drew better go easy on him."

"Drew, going easy on Chad? Sorry, but have you seen what Drew can do?

"Yeah, unfortunately."

"Mm-hmm, so Chad better start praying."

"Easy for you to say."

"Hey, another thing I wanted to talk to you about, well, Drew's birthday is coming up and I want to do very nice for him since he has been so supportive of me with what's been going on and he did play a role in helping me and my dad starting to reconcile. And our one-year anniversary happens to be next week. What do you think I should do?"

"Well, let's see, are you two staying in Houston or going back to Tampa?"

"Well, I told Drew that I want to visit my aunt Evelyn since she lives in Houston and he was cool with it."

"Okay, maybe there is something in Houston that you two could do together."

"Maybe I should call Samantha; she is from Houston so she'll probably give me some ideas."

"Good idea and while you are at it, I can talk to my cousin Katrina."

Then Autumn walked away as Michelle finished getting her makeup done.

Then Michelle got up from her chair as she took out her cell phone and texted Samantha,

"Hey, Drew's birthday is next week and I need some ideas on what to do for him."

Then Michelle walked away to finish getting ready for RAW.

Later, RAW was on and it was time for the match which was Drew versus Chad.

Drew's entrance theme as he came out from the curtain with Dolph and Michelle following him.

Michelle was wearing a black gothic cropped tank top, black ripped denim shorts, fishnet stockings and her hair straight.

The three walked down the ramp and Dolph went around the ring as Michelle followed as she did her split and turned her legs to the side to get into the ring. Drew got in the ring and then got on the turnbuckles as he shouted and Michelle & Dolph posed on the ropes and Drew got back down.

Then Drew got on his knee as Chad's entrance theme as he came out from the curtain with Autumn following him.

Autumn was wearing a modified cheerleading outfit with the same colors of Chad's singlet of a long sleeve crop top and shorts and her hair straight.

The two walked down the ramp as Chad was talking smack to Drew and the two got into the ring as Autumn and Michelle were talking trash to each other and Drew took off his jacket as Michelle, Dolph and Autumn got out of the ring as the referee called for the bell.

Chad immediately tried to take down Drew by his leg but Drew held on as he tossed Chad away but Chad immediately went behind Drew in a waistlock as Drew landed a back elbow and threw Chad onto the mat and Chad crawled to the corner as Drew stared him down and grabbed Chad as he landed a couple of chops to the chest and shouted, "You're not on my bloody level!" Drew then landed a right hand as Chad countered was hitting a few forearms before the referee pulled him away and then Drew landed a big boot to the face and was hitting a few right hands and back elbows before he grabbed Chad and landed a back body drop for a two count and applied a kneeling half nelson crossface.

Chad got to his feet as he tried to get out of the hold but Drew countered with the hold and Chad got to his feet as he hit a couple of right hands to the midsection and grabbed Chad as he went for a back body drop but Chad countered as he shoved Drew to the ropes and went for a suplex but Drew held onto the ropes and hit a back elbow. Drew grabbed Chad and shoved him to the corner as he landed a belly-to-belly suplex sending Chad across the ring and Drew was staring down at Chad as he kicked Chad in the head and slapped him on the back of the head as he got Chad on his shoulders for a fireman's carry and climbed up the top turnbuckle as Chad fought out of the hold and landed a headbutt sending Drew to the mat.

Chad landed for a moonsault for a two count and Drew kicked Chad in the midsection as he dumped him out of the ring and slides out after him but got caught with an elbow and Drew went after Chad again but Chad landed an uppercut and ducked a lariat from Drew before he landed a spin kick and Chad went after Drew as Drew lifted him to the ring apron and Chad kicked Drew off. Chad perched on the second rope and went for a diving crossbody but Drew caught him and threw Chad into the ringpost and Drew shouted as Michelle applauded and Dolph cheered him on as Drew tossed Chad back into the ring and Drew went to the corner as he stared at Chad and landed the Claymore for the win.

Michelle smiled as she and Dolph got into the ring and waved at Autumn as Drew stared at the referee. Then the three left the ring and walked up the ramp as Autumn got into the ring to check on Chad.

A little while later, Michelle was backstage looking at herself in the mirror as Autumn approached her.

"Oh hi, Autumn," Michelle spoke curtly.

"Hi, Autumn? That's all you have to say?" Autumn agonized.

"Okay, what is your problem?"

"My problem is you! I've seen you laughing at Chad getting beat down by your boyfriend Drew McIntyre and you think this is funny?"

"Yeah! I mean, you really think that Drew cares what he did to Chad? When he got drafted to RAW, he came here to make a statement and I don't think your fiancé is putting in the work to go up against Drew."

"You really you seem to forget that my fiancé is a former Olympian and he would have suplexed Drew but Drew continued to manhandle Chad, and you seem to enjoy it."

"Hey, don't blame me that Chad couldn't get the job done tonight."

"Well, I could blame you since you are riding on Drew McIntyre's coattails."

"Excuse me! What did you say?"

"You heard what I said, Michelle! You're riding on Drew McIntyre's coattails and that's probably why you're not in the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder match."

"You know what? If that's what you think, maybe you and I can have a match next week since you seem to think I'm riding on my boyfriend's coattails."

"You're on."

Then Autumn walked away as Michelle continued to stare at her.

Then the girls finished their segment as they high fived each other.

"Wow, I never thought I would see the day we would be jaw-jacking each other," Michelle said proudly.

"Hey, it was gonna happen sooner or later," Autumn agreed.

"But do you really I'm riding Drew's coattails?"

"Absolutely not, I know you wouldn't do that and neither will Drew."

"Well, there are some people who would say that."

"Because they are stupid; I know you're with Drew for the right reasons and if they wanna continue barking up the wrong tree, let them. They'll always be wrong at the end; it's like Drew said when you agreed to be part of Total Divas, who cares what they think?"

"You're right; let them think what they wanna think. I don't care what they say and neither does Drew."

"Exactly. Now let's go find our guys."

Then Autumn and Michelle walked away.

The next day, Drew and Michelle rode along with Chad and Michelle to the airport as the girls were heading to Miami for their girls' trip along with the Bella Twins, Paige and Lana to celebrate Nia Jax and Nattie's birthday.

The four arrived at the airport as they grabbed their bags and checked in before arriving at their gates. Drew was heading back to Tampa as Chad heading home to Minnesota.

"Looks like us guys are gonna be all alone while you two are gonna be partying up in Miami," Chad said.

"Oh, I'm sure you'll keep yourselves occupied while us girls are gonna party in Miami," Michelle assured Chad.

"Yeah, just make sure you don't get into too much trouble."

"Us getting into trouble?" Autumn said. "We wouldn't do that."

"Are you sure about that?" Drew questioned.

"Maybe," Michelle said. "Now you know we won't go through any trouble. We're gonna be in Miami with Nattie, Nia, Paige, Lana and the Bella Twins and we're gonna be looking for each other."

"As always," Autumn concurred.

"Okay, I'll take your word for it," Drew said.

"You know, before I forget," Chad said, "Autumn and I have been thinking, we should do a couples getaway in Key West since I happen to have a place there."

"Ooh, that sounds like a good idea," Michelle said. "What do you think, Drew?"

"That does sound like a good idea," Drew agreed. "And you said you have a place there?"

"I sure do," Chad said. "I bought it not too long ago; Key West is very beautiful and Autumn & I have been spending a couple of days there when we can to get away."

"The house is very lovely and we decorated ourselves," Autumn said. "You'll see."

"Well, I'd love to see that," Michelle said.

"I think we can do a couples getaway," Drew concurred. "For us to enjoy the nice weather and have some time to ourselves."

"Awesome," Autumn said. "Let's see how our schedule goes and we'll plan it from there."

"Cool," Michelle agreed.

Then after a while, it was time for the gang to board their flights.

"Well, that's us," Autumn said.

"Might as well go ahead and board," Michelle said.

"Okay, well, you ladies have a safe flight," Chad said.

"Call us when you get there," Drew said.

"You too," Michelle assured. "You guys be safe as well and please don't kill Chad on your way."

"I love you too; I promise."

Then Drew and Michelle kissed each other as Chad and Autumn did the same and the couples went their separate ways.
