Han, Chewie, and Leia were repairing the Falcon while Threepio was connected to the engineering panel. "Uggh. I don't know where your ship learned to communicate, but it has the most peculiar delict. It says we have to replace the reversed flux power cuplink. "Threepio said. Han looked at the display. "Well of course we have to replace it. "Han groaned. "Chewie we have to replace the reversed flux power cuplink. "Han told Chewie as he handed him some cable. Leia was in an equipment bay wielding some equipment. After she finished up, she closed the pod and tried to turn the handle below it. Han grabbed it while Leia held it and tried to turn it. "It's alright. "Han said. "You're a scoundrel. "Leia said. "You don't like scoundrels? "Han asked. Padme was behind Han and kept herself invisible to the others. They kissed until Threepio came in. "I have isolated the reversed flux power cuplink. "Threepio said. "Lousy timing as always Threepio. "Padme groaned as she suddenly appeared. Han and Leia left the bay and Padme followed Leia. "You saw that kiss mother? "Leia asked. "Yes. "Padme answered. "It must bother you. "Leia said. "It's love that is all that matters. Nothing wrong with it. "Padme said. "I mean it must bring back painful memories. "Leia answered. "You mean Anakin? Yes, it does. I am happy for you. "Padme said. "Yes, it reminds me of Anakin before he got tricked by Palpatine. "Padme sighed. 'Leia this ship needs an overhaul bigtime. "Padme said. "Tell that to Han. "Leia replied.
Luke was training with Yoda. He was running through the swamp with Yoda on his back. "Feel the force flowing through you. "Yoda said. Luke jumped through the trees and reached the area near Yoda's hut and stopped. "That is enough for today. "Yoda said as he got off Luke. Luke started putting his jacket back on. "Is the dark side stronger? "Luke said. "No. Quicker, easier, and more seductive. "Yoda explained. "Too bad Anakin never asked that? "Padme said as she stood by Yoda. "Luke started putting his jacket back on. "Go to the cave. "Yoda said as he pointed his cane at a cave. "What is in there? "Luke asked. "Only what you take with you. "Yoda answered. Luke started putting his belt back on. "Your weapons you will not need them. "Yoda said. Luke ignored him and took his lightsaber with him. Luke went into the cave. Luke saw Darth Vader approaching him. Luke ignited his lightsaber and beheaded Vader. The head fell to the ground and the mask disappeared exposing Luke's face under it. Luke was shocked. Luke headed outside to Padme and Yoda. "That is why you fail. "Yoda explained. "You should have sent Anakin into that cave. It might have prevented his fall. "Padme groaned. "A mistake it was not to send him there. "Yoda replied.
Vader was on the bridge of the Executor looking at a hologram of some officers on another ship. "With all the damage we are taking we are lucky to still be alive. "The officer said. "I want that ship not excuses. "Vader ordered. Admiral Piett approached the sith lord. "We have received a transmission from the emperor. He wishes to speak with you. "Admiral said. "Move the ship out of the asteroid field so we can send a clear transmission. "Vader ordered. Vader kneeled in his quarters unaware Padme was behind him as she was keeping herself invisible. "What is thy bidding my master? "Vader asked the emperor. "There has been a disturbance in the force. "Palpatine said. "I have felt it my master. "Vader said. "Luke Skywalker the son of Anakin Skywalker and the pilot who destroyed the death star has grown strong in the force. "Palpatine said. "The son of Skywalker must not be allowed to become a jedi. "Palpatine warned. "He's training with Yoda and now you're scared Palpatine. "Padme said to herself. "If he could be turned, he could be a powerful alley. "Vader said. "You will bring him before me and together we will turn him to the dark side of the force. "Palpatine said. "Yes, my master. "Vader replied. "Yeah. Yeah. You want him to kill Palpatine and he wants him to kill you. You sith lords are so predictable. "Padme said to herself and then she appeared before Vader. Vader turned and saw Padme standing behind the holoprojector platform. "Did you see all our conversation Padme? "Vader asked. "Nothing but two sith lords plotting against each other. "Padme replied. "What are you up to Padme? "Vader asked. "Just watching you two plotting against Luke. "Padme replied. "What are you hiding from me? "Vader asked. Padme suddenly appeared naked. "I have nothing to hide. "Padme said. "You are a virgin how? "Vader said as he stared at his wife. "Angels are always virgins. I got it back after I died. "Padme explained. "We are at our strongest with our innocence. I never lose it ever. "Padme continued. "Then it hurts. "Vader said. "No, its like it's not even there, but you will never know because I don't sleep with Sith Lords. "Padme says as her nightgown reappeared.
Leia was asleep in the cockpit of the Falcon when a creature landed on the window and startled her. She jumped and ran for Han. "There is something outside! "Leia shouted. "Outside? "Han asked. The ship shook. "I do believe this asteroid is not entirely stable. "C3P0 warned. "Not entirely stable. "Han replied. "Come on. "Han ordered. "You going outside? "Leia asked. "I just got the ship back together and I am not letting something else tear it apart. "Han growled. "I think I will stay here and guard the ship. "C3P0 replied. Han,Chewie, and Leia went down the ramp wearing oxygen masks as they were looking for what Leia saw. Han shot at something on the ship, and it fell to the ground. Padme was next to Leia watching everything. "It's alright I got it. Mynock." Han said as he looked at the dead creature. "Mynock? "Leia wondered. 'You can go inside. Chewie and I will clean them off. Their chewing on the power cables. "Han said. Suddenly there was a roar. Han shot the floor, and the cave shook almost throwing everyone off their feet except Padme. The group ran into the ship. "We don't have time to discuss this in a committee. "Han groaned. "I am not a committee! "Leia shouted. "I hate committees. They slow everything down. "Padme groaned. Han took off and flew towards the cave entrance. "The cave is collapsing! "Leia shouted. "This is no cave. "Han answered. "It's a space slug. "Padme said. Han rotated the ship and flew through the teeth of the space slug just as its mouth closed. It reached up and tried to eat the Falcon again only for it to escape.
Luke was upside down when Artoo started beeping like crazy. He fell and caused everything he was levitating to fall. "Control! You must learn control. "Yoda warned. Luke looked towards where his X-wing was. "We will never get it out now. "Luke groaned. Padme was beside him. 'We can get your ship back. "Padme said. "Use the force Luke. "Yoda ordered. "It's too big to move. "Luke groaned. 'Judge me by my size, do you? "Yoda asked. "No, it's just I have never moved anything so big. "Luke replied. "Alright I will try. "Luke said. "No do. There is no try and no help from your mother. "Yoda said. "My hands are tied behind my back. "Padme said as she put her arms behind her. Luke reached out with the force and the X-wing started to move. Then it fell back into the swamp. 'It's just too big. "Luke groaned. Yoda raised his hand and moved the X-wing with force and placed it down on land beside Luke. "I don't believe it. "Luke said. "That is why you fail. 'Yoda replied. "Luke, you will get it at some point. "Padme said.
Admiral Piett stood on the lower level of the bridge looking up at bounty hunters lined up. "Bounty Hunters we don't need their scum. "Piett told an officer. Padme appeared and looked over Vader's shoulder. "Quite a menagerie you have here. I love seeing the empire outsource work. "Padme said. Vader ignored her. "There is a substantial reward for the one that finds the Millennium Falcon. You are free to use any methods, but I want them alive. No disintegrations. "Vader said in front of Boba Fett. "As you wish. "Boba Fett answered. "Who do you think will find them? "Vader asked Padme. "If I had to fight an army of IG-88s instead of battle droids in the clone wars I would be dead before I got pregnant. I would put my credits on Boba Fett. "Padme said. "We just heard from the Star Destroyer Avenger. We have them. "Admiral Piett said. Padme disappeared and headed to find the Falcon. On the bridge of the Avenger the officers tracked the Falcon. Padme appeared beside Leia in the cockpit of the Falcon. "Watch this. "Han said as he tried to jump into hyperspace. "Watch what? No lightspeed. "Leia said. "I know a few maneuvers I can out fly them. "Han said. He flew straight towards the star destroyer and over it's bridge. The officers ducked as the ship passed by. "Track it. "Captain Needa ordered. "It's gone. "An officer said. "Impossible. No ship that size has a cloaking device. "Captain Needa said. "Lord Vader requests an update on the pursuit. "An officer said. "I will apologize to him. "Captain Needa said.
The Falcon was on the back of the conning tower of the star destroyer held in place by claps. 'Clever trick Han. "Padme standing behind Leia said. "Now what? ""I was against this. The odds of surviving are 1000 to."C3P0 fell silent as Leia hit his cutoff switch. Leia asked. "If they are following standard imperial procedure, they will dump their garbage before going to lightspeed. Then we release the claps. "Han explained. "Then we float away with the rest of the garbage. "Leia replied. "We need to find a safe port to repair this ship. "Han said as he looked at nearby systems. "Lando. "Han said. "Lando system? "Leia asked. "No Lando Calrissian a man. A card player, swindler, and troublemaker. You would like him. Lando and I go way back. "Han said. "There they go. "Leia said. "Chewie go back by the clamp release and wait for my signal. "Han ordered. Chewie left the cockpit. "Okay release now. "Han said. The ship fell away, and Han set course for Cloud City. No one noticed Slave One following them.
Luke was upside down and Yoda was above his foot. "Fell the force flowing through you. See things you will. See visions of friends and distant places. "Yoda said. "Han and Leia! "Luke shouted as he lost concentration and fell. Padme appeared behind him. "I saw Han and Leia in trouble in a city in the clouds. They are in trouble I must go to them. "Luke said. "No, you must finish your training. "Yoda warned. "It's the same trick Palpatine used on Anakin. That's why he fell. "Padme warned. "Explain it you must Padme. "Yoda said. "Anakin had visions of me dying in childbirth. They were created by Palpatine and were a lie to make him turn to the dark side. Anakin didn't know any better. He was consumed by fear. "Padme explained. "You were the person close to him that he was worried about dying. Failed to tell the order he did. "Yoda said. "Why couldn't you read his mind and see it? 'Padme asked. "Not my place. Clouded was his future. "Yoda replied. "It was clouded by Palpatine so you wouldn't see his plan to turn Anakin to the dark side. "Padme replied. "You tried to force him to take a path he didn't want, and you didn't care. You ran to Kasyyyk and Obi Wan went to Utapau because Palpatine wanted to get you away from Anakin so he would be vulnerable to him. "Padme sobbed. "Manipulated by Palpatine we were. Wrong it was to ask him to spy on Palpatine. Wrong it was to not allow love. "Yoda said. "It's too late for that. Oh, Palpatine is going to get words for me. I will put a stop to his vision tricks once and for all. "Padme growled as she got red in the face and clenched her fists. "Luke don't go anywhere I will be right back. "Padme said because she disappeared.
Palpatine stood in the sith temple under the former jedi temple when Padme appeared in front of him. She raised her right hand out and force pushed Palpatine into the wall. Palpatine knew immediately why she had come. "If you put any more stupid visions in any of my family's heads, I will fill this place up with so many dianogas you would ever get the stench out. "Padme wanred. "I was only playing. You are even more a nuisance dead than alive. "Palpatine groaned. 'Maybe you should have kept me alive then. Leave my son alone. "Padme warned and she disappeared.
When Padme arrived on Cloud City the group had been taken prisoner by Darth Vader and Boba Fett. Padme saw the bounty hunter waiting near the chamber freeze chamber. "I hate it when I am right. "Padme groaned to herself. She found Han about to be tortured by Vader. "Oh no you don't! You are not torturing my daughter's boyfriend. "Padme said as she broke the scan grid before Han reached it. "He knows many rebel secrets. We must force them out. "Vader said. "Lying as usual. You're just trying to trap Luke. "Padme smiled. "He will join me. "Vader replied. "No, he won't and he won't join Palpatine either. Give it up already. "Padme groaned. "Take him back to the cell. "Vader ordered. Padme appeared in the cell as Leia was pushed in. Han was lying on a slab meant to be used for rest. "What happened to him? "Leia asked. "Vader tried to torture him, and I stopped him. "Padme said. Lando came in and Padme turned to face him. She made herself visible to Lando. "You traitor. "Han said as he charged Lando. "Listen Vader doesn't want you. He is after someone named Skywalker. "Lando explained. "My son and he is not going to get him. "Padme growled. "So, the rumors are true about stormtroopers seeing an apparition of Padme Amidala on Tatooine. "Lando said. "I am an angel not an apparition. "Padme said. "He said you will all stay here with me. "Lando explained. "Don't believe. Sith lie. "Padme warned. "Lady what else do I have to believe? "Lando said. "You can believe me. "Padme answered. "If Vader is after Luke, then Palpatine is as well. "Leia said. "I will warn him. "Padme said and she disappeared.
Luke was packing up his things and getting ready to leave when he saw Padme swimming in the swamp. "Mother are you naked in there? "Luke asked. "Even we immortals like to take baths from time to time. Vader has set a trap for you on Cloud City. "Padme warned. As Padme came out of the water, she had her nightgown on again. Luke kept getting his fighter ready for the trip. "Hard to believe you are my mother sometimes. "Luke said. "Luke not all mothers are ugly. "Padme replied with her hands on her hips. "Don't go Luke finish what you started here. "Yoda warned. "And let Han and Leia die? 'Luke asked. "If you honor what they fight for yes. "Yoda asked. "I will come back I promise. "Luke said. "Use what you have learned. "Yoda said. Obi wan as a ghost appeared. "Don't give in to hate that leads to the dark side. "Obi wan warned. Luke got into his X-wing and took off. "That boy was our only hope. "Obi wan groaned. "There is another. "Yoda replied. "If you mean Leia, you should have been training alongside Luke. "Padme groaned. "We believed training them one at a time would keep them from being found by Palpatine. "Obi wan said. "Palpatine sensed Luke you failed. "Padme said. "Sensed him Palpatine did. Find he did not. "Yoda replied. "Don't you love Luke? "Padme asked. "No. "Yoda replied. "That is why you failed. "Padme said and then she disappeared.
Darth Vader waited with the group as ugnaughts readied a carbon freezing chamber. "This facility is adequate for freezing Skywalker. "Vader said. "We use this for carbon freezing. You put him in there it might kill him. "Lando warned. "Then we will test it on Captain Solo. "Vader said. "Ship approaching x-wing class. "An officer told Vader. "Good. Allow Skywalker to land and lead him here. "Vader ordered. "You wouldn't dare Ani. "Padme shouted. "Don't bother me Padme. "Vader growled. "Bring Captain Solo." Vader ordered. Chewie attacked the stormtroopers and tried to save Han. "Chewie stops! "Han said as handcuffs were put on Chewie. "The princess. You have to protect the princess, okay. "Han said. Leia and Han kissed before he was pulled away and placed on the platform. The group watched as the platform and Han were lowered into the freezing chamber. "Mother do something. Stop it! "Leia shouted. "If I damage the machinery, it might kill him. I have never felt so helpless. "Padme groaned. Steam was rising from the chamber. A big claw was lowered into the chamber and pulled a block of carbonite with instrument panels on both sides and Han frozen in it. Someone pushed it and it fell with Leia crying. Lando checked the instruments on it. "He's alive and in prefect hibernation. "Lando said. "I could have told you that. "Padme said. "Take them to my ship. "Vader ordered. "They were to stay here with me. "Lando groaned. "I am altering the deal prey I don't alternate it further. "Vader explained. "I told you the Sith lie, and you didn't listen to me. "Padme said to Lando. "Okay you were right. 'Lando replied. "Reset the chamber for Skywalker. "Vader ordered. Luke made his way through Cloud City. At one point he saw Leia and the group being led away. "Luke it's a trap! "Leia shouted. "Luke don't follow them! "Padme shouted from behind Luke. A door closed behind Luke cutting him off from Artoo. Luke stepped on to a lift and then walked on to the platform above the freezing chamber. Darth Vader stood atop a walkway at the top of some lit stairs with his lightsaber lit. Luke ignited his lightsaber and walked up the stairs to where Vader was standing. They started fighting. "How can you fight your own son Anakin? "Padme asked. "Stay out of this Padme. "Vader snapped at her. Luke and Vader fought on the platform above the freezing chamber. Luke fell in and Vader force pulled the lever to start the freezing process. "All too easy. "Vader said. Then Luke shot out of the chamber and clung to hoses above it. "Impressive. "Vader said as he swung at Luke. "Most impressive. "Vader continued. Luke pushed Vader off the platform. Luke stopped as Vader disappeared below. Luke jumped down and went through a tunnel.
As the group was being led towards Vader's shuttle Lando tapped a code on his commlink signaling Lobot his computer administrator. Suddenly armed Bespin guards appeared and arrested the imperials. "Lock them in the tower and keep it quiet. "Lando said to a guard. He handed blasters to Leia and Chewie. Chewie started choking Lando. "Hannn. "Lando tried to say. "I think he is trying to say Han. "Threepio said. "We trust him Chewie. "Leia said. "Trust him. "Threepio replied. Chewie let go of Lando. "Han east platform. "Lando said. "He is saying there is a chance to save Han. "Threepio said. Lando led them to the east platform as Slave 1 took off. Leia expected her mother to appear and stop the ship. Padme was too busy with Luke and Vader. Boba Fett got away. "Come on" Lando shouted as he led the group towards the Falcon.
Luke entered a control room overlooking the central shaft of the city. Vader appeared and they started fighting again. "Join me and reach your destiny. "Vader said. Then Vader stared hurling objects at Luke using the force. "You cheater! "Padme shouted as she started blocking the objects and pushing them aside. So the wind increased as Vader unleashed a force storm. Padme couldn't stop everything flying towards Luke. Luke flew through the broken window and fell down the shaft. Padme followed him.
The group reached a door. As Artoo tried to plug in to a panel he got shocked. Lando grabbed a microphone and spoke to the city. "This is Lando Calrissian I advise everyone to leave the city before more imperial troops arrive. " The people of the city started running in different directions trying to escape from the city. "Come on. "Lando said as stormtroopers started firing on the group. "It's not my fault. I am only an interpreter. I am not the one who mistook a power output for a computer terminal. "Threepio said to Artoo.
Luke was hanging from a bridge above the shaft. He pulled himself up and headed into a control room. Vader appeared and they started fighting again. Padme was beside Luke. "Stop this Anakin. "Padme shouted. Luke was pushed back onto the bridge and towards its end. He flew down and Vader held his saber above him. "You are beaten. "Vader said. "No, he is not. 'Padme replied. Vader swung and cut off Luke's hand. Luke screamed "AAGHH!" Padme pulled Luke's lightsaber back up and dropped it on the floor. "How dare you hurt your own son Anakin. How low have you stooped. 'Padme growled. "Luke I will help you. "Padme said. "Join me and we can end this destructive conflict. Join me and we can destroy the emperor. 'Vader said. "Shut up Anakin. Watch this. "Padme growled as she grabbed Luke's wrist above his missing hand. Luke's hand grew back and then Padme let go. "You can heal people Padme?" Vader asked. "Yes, I can. Anakin, this isn't about ending the war. It's about you being alone. You need attachment, loving attachment. "Padme said. She flew headfirst towards Vader and hovered in front of him. "Palpatine killed your mother so you would lose control of your emotions. You needed someone to comfort you after that lose and the jedi didn't. "Padme said. She floated headfirst with her hair and beads blowing like there was wind. "Palpatine made you kill the Tuskin Raiders by killing your mother so you would use the dark side. He manipulated everyone back then. He even manipulated me to get a vote of not confidence against the chancellor so he would be elected in his place. He clouded the jedi council's vision of your future so they wouldn't see his plot to turn you. He groomed you the whole time and made you believe you were better then all the other jedi which was not true. He had to separate us. We were too strong for him together. We were supposed to defeat the Sith together and live happily ever after. The jedi didn't know that and couldn't because they alienated themselves from love. Obi wan failed you and Qui Gon Jinn because he trained you to follow the jedi code and not to follow the force. He left me behind on Geonosis when I fell out of the gunship and that caused you to rush Count Dooku and lose your arm. He lost the love of his life Satine who is also an angel because he followed the code. A code that was outdated and needed to be changed. They should not have asked you to spy on the chancellor. When they did that, they slit their own throats. Their rules was not absolute and other jedi were too scared to stand up to them. Palpatine caused Ahsoka to be framed for the temple bombing to hurt you. He was severing all your attachments. The prophecy was misread by everyone. A loving angel was to help the chosen one to bring balance to the force. I am that angel. "Padme said. "Anakin killed you. "Vader said. "No, he didn't. The person I saw on Mustafar wasn't Anakin, it was you. Vader you choked me. You killed me. "Padme explained. "NNNOOOOO! "Vader shouted. "Search your feelings. Turning Luke to the dark side won't help you. Falling for lies and acting on impulse is what turns you into a cybernetic monster. "Padme said. "You are lying. Anakin was weak. "Vader said. "This is your weapon Anakin and Luke were using it. "Padme said holding Anakin's lightsaber. "Padme said. "Only the dark side can defeat Palpatine. "Vader said. "Monster! Take this! "Padme shouted as she flew headfirst into Vader and pushed him inside the control room and into a wall. "Run Luke! "Padme shouted as she held Vader in place. Luke ran past Vader and headed back into the main corridors leading to the Falcon. Padme met Leia as the group was on the platform heading for the Falcon. "Wait Luke is coming! "Padme shouted. "Where were you? We could have used your help to stop Boba Fett. "Leia asked. "Sorry. I was helping Luke with Vader. "Padme apologized. Leia fought off stormtroopers and Padme cleared them away so Luke could reach the Falcon. They ran up the ramp and took off. They picked up Luke's X-wing and flew into space. Vader was back onboard the Executor which was waiting near Bespin. "Are you sure the hyperdrive on the Millennium Falcon is disabled? "Vader asked Piett. "Yes, my lord. "Piett answered. Lando tried to go to lightspeed and nothing happened. "It's not my fault. They told me they fixed it. "Lando groaned. "The hyperdrive has be disabled so Vader can catch this ship. 'Padme warned. Chewbacca ran back to fix the hyperdrive while Artoo was repairing C3P0. "Artoo, you have finished with me. Chewbacca can fix it. "Threepio said. Artoo beeped at him. "How do you know the hyperdrive is disabled? The city's central computer told you. Artoo how many times have I told you not to trust a strange computer. "Threepio groaned. Artoo went by the engineering panel. "We have them. "Piett told Vader. Vader started away "Prepare the boarding party and set your weapons at stun. "Vader ordered. Artoo pulled a switch and the Falcon entered hyperspace. Vader left the bridge of the Executor. The Falcon docked with the medical frigate. Later Luke and Leia were with the droids looking out a window. Leia was wearing her white dress from Ep IV. "Mother healed your hand after Vader cut it off. "Leia as she looked at Luke's right hand. "Yes, I did, and I gave him Luke's lightsaber which was Anakin's old lightsaber back. "Padme explained. "We will meet you on Tatooine princess. "Lando said as he sat in the cockpit of the Falcon. Luke and Leia watched as the Falcon took off and jumped into hyperspace. Vader held Anakin's lightsaber and stared at it. "Reminiscing? "Padme asked. "Yes. "Vader answered. She left and Vader still held the lightsaber.
