This story picks up on the aftermath of the battle at the ending of the film. Tristan just died beneath the river, the British fought and barely succeeded to defeat the Irish. Isolde and Marke are in deep grief. No motivation to go on, nothing to live for anymore... And then, regular life happens to them. This story is also a homage to the wonderful Rufus Sewell as King Marke.

Marke, king of Kernow , attacked constantly by Irish raiders, signs a peace treaty with Diarmid , king of Erin and agrees to marry his daughter Iseult. Iseult has already fallen in love with Marke's Champion, Tristan. Can anything but tragedy result from this?
