-Hey Beautiful, How are you doing?

She read the message and the annoyance of the day and all of the training faded away.

-I'm doing better now that you've messaged me. About to study for a test.

-You are so responsible and smart. You will no doubt do amazing on your test.

The comments almost brought tears to her eyes. He always knew what to say. Even after all the hard work she puts into her studies and training, sometimes it still felt like she was never enough.

-You always know how to make me feel better and to smile.

-I'd like to see your smile. Didn't you say you were going out with friends this weekend. Maybe we could meet.

She hesitated reading his message. He wanted to meet her and he was always so incredibly kind and was always there for her when she needed it. But she couldn't erase the feelings in her gut.

She was probably just shy.

-I don't know. I might not meet up to your expectations. I don't want to disappoint you.

-You could never disappoint me. You're perfect the way you are.

Her heart soared and at his words. She only wished that it was her parents that had gifted her the words. She longed for these words.

-Okay. Let's meet up. I will let you know more details.

Kokyu disliked how well she was working with Mirio. Yes, he requested they be on first names.

She was only upset because of the way things went down. Obviously this man didn't burn down her house making the last choice for her to continue her career being the option that he had been pushing, and pushing, and pushing.

A sigh left her at the thought. If it wasn't for the fact that she watched Yuki's fireworks exploding around the room she would have thought that Mirio did start the fire.

Because the man was way too happy about them working together, and well at that. It was one part annoying but two parts great because Kokyu would have disliked having to show him how to handle toddlers.

And she would have definitely gone above and beyond to help him in that area if he needed the help. Helping people was her weak spot after all.

"I heard that you and Shino went to UA together? That's really awesome for you guys. I don't get to see my pals very often anymore." Mirio spoke between the two girls.

They were currently getting the room cleaned up while the toddlers took their naps. She'd be showing Shino and Mirio how she did physical training when the older children showed up.

"We were inseparable since orientation on the first day." Shino giggles thinking back on the memory, "She was drooling over Shouta when I took the seat next to her."

Mirio's eyes became huge, "Shouta. As in Shouta Aizawa. As in Eraserhead."

Kokyu groaned while tossing the last of the blocks into a box, "Shii~no."

"Yes. She had the biggest crush on him."

"That was a long time ago." Kokyu tries to kill the topic.

"Maybe but you're neighbors now and you're going to be working with him." Mirio.

She pondered over that but only for a moment, "And I can be professional."

The looks Mirio and Shino shared with one another before looking back at her told her enough, "I can!" She insisted.

Kokyo was excited to be interning for this particular agency. She was excited to enter the workforce. To use her quirk for good.

She opens the door ready-ing herself for professionalism on the job.

Then she saw the mess black haired senpai of her daydreams sitting with his blonde friend. All of the excitement and now distraction caught her off guard as she trips over the entrance way step.

Falling face flat on the tiled floor.

Yep. She could totally be professional with Aizawa around.
