Big Time Playground

As part of a celebrity charity event the guys decide to build a playground at a local park in Los Angelas. They all have different ideas on what it should look like and argue over whose idea is best. After being unable to come to a conclusion they decide to do their work separately but realize that they always work better as a team and try to find a compromise that’ll work

21. Chapter 21

Tuesday morning*

Andy and Steven at the farmers' market looking for fresh fruit to make smoothies as a surprise gift to the guys*

Ok Steven we've got to look for the yummiest looking fruit here. You wanna start with the red fruits? "Andy says"

Yeah. Strawberry and Apple "Steven says"

That's right. Those are very delicious and nutritious fruits "Andy says"

After that they move onto the bananas and papayas and peaches then the grapes and blueberries*

We should try dragon fruit. Sounds like something Carlos would pick "Andy says"

Wanna still help Andy "Steven says"

Ok the dragonfruit is all the way over there and our basket is really heavy. You sit right here on this bench and organize all of the fruit we have by color. Like a rainbow. You love doing that "Andy says"

Ok Andy "Steven says and sits down"

Andy walks away*

As Steven starts arranging the fruit precisely by color and size he doesn't notice he's getting some attention he doesn't need. Tyson starts to growl then whimper*

What's wrong Tyson? *He looks up to see three older boys smirking at him* Stop please. He don't like that

They just ignore him and keep messing with Tyson until the dog starts barking loudly. Everyone stares in that direction and Andy comes running back*

What's going on Steven? Are you ok? Why is Tyson so upset? "He says"

Steven is too scared to talk and signs exactly what happened*

Oh ok. That's the kids from our school buddy. You're Xavier, Zachary and Samuel right? What are you doing here?

We're here getting fresh ingredients for our father's restaurant. It's part of our job of working there "Xavier says"

Ok but why are you bothering my brother and Tyson? "Andy says"

We're bored and don't really want to be here. Seeing this mutt react and that freak get upset is priceless "Zachary says"

Yeah it's so much better than what we're doing "Samuel says"

Tyson isn't a mutt and Steven isn't a freak. We suffer enough when you guys tease us at school. Summer should be a vacation from all of that. Apologize "Andy says"

Ain't gonna happen but what we will do is take that basket of fruit you've got and any the money you were gonna use to buy it "Xavier says"
