Big Time Playground

As part of a celebrity charity event the guys decide to build a playground at a local park in Los Angelas. They all have different ideas on what it should look like and argue over whose idea is best. After being unable to come to a conclusion they decide to do their work separately but realize that they always work better as a team and try to find a compromise that’ll work

23. Chapter 23

They go home and make the fruit smoothies then go to the Palm Woods*

Hey guys we made a surprise. They're fruit smoothies "Andy says"

Sure thanks "Kendall says"

He and the guys take one they like*

Wow these are delicious "Logan says"

Thanks. It's just a way of us thanking you for being our friends and being so nice to us "Andy says" We had some trouble at the farmers' market. Three kids from our school who are brothers were being very mean to us. They aggravated Tyson and called Steven a freak. Their dad came and sorted everything out *Sighs* They bug us all the time at school and don't ever listen to the teachers

That sucks. Sorry you had to go through that "James says"

Yeah they're bad kids "Carlos says"

I agree "Andy says"

You like sports Andy? "James says"

Not really. I'm not really an outside kind of kid. I'm more of a lounge on the couch and play Mario Kart and read comic books kind of kid "Andy says"

Steven is the same way. Why?

Wanna learn how to play hockey? "James says"

Um…I don't know. I've never ice skated "Andy says"

We can teach you "James says"

You wanna try Steven? "Andy says"

Steven shrugs*

I've got an idea. Come with us to the ice rink and watch us play. Then you can make a decision "Logan says"

Ok "Andy says"

He and Steven go home to get some warm clothes on then their dad takes them to the ice rink*

Ok watch us little dudes! "James says"

He and guys start playing hockey*

After 10 minutes they skate into the stands*

Wanna try now? "Kendall says"

Ok "Andy says"

No "Steven says"

You stay here and watch. Let us know if you change your mind "Andy says"

Logan brings him ice skates and helps him put them on*

Ok Andy time to get on the ice

I'm nervous "Andy says"

It's ok. I was nervous my first time too "Logan says" With lots of practice I got really good. You can do the same thing

Andy cautiously walks onto the ice and wobbles* I can't do it! I'm scared!

It's ok. I'm right here. I won't let you fall "Logan says" I taught Katie the same way. She was scared too but she's really good now

Ok I'll keep trying "Andy says"

Take my hand "Logan says"

Andy holds it and they slowly start skating. He still wobbles but manages to stay balanced*

Good job Andy. You're doing great "Logan says"

After 2 hours they get tired and leave*
