June was the second Offred. Anna was the first Offred. We all know how Anna's story ended, but this is how it began and how her life changed the lives of others in the Waterford household. TW for Handmaid themes.

Luke and June have been living together in Toronto for months. Are they ever going to have an honest conversation about Nick Blaine? This takes place during season 4, in the weeks between episodes 9 and 10. And Nichole/Holly is two and a half in this story, because she should be. (Not my fault that the writers can't do math.)

This is a continuation of my fic "Rethinking Tuello and Blaine"...because it seems even my backstories have backstories. You could read this story without the previous one, though. It focuses on a teenage boy in Gilead. Since the series hasn't shown how boys are treated, I've made a lot of stuff up, including 'Prussians,' the male equivalent of Plums.

A one-chapter story in which I give Mark Tuello and Nick Blaine a little more backstory. This takes place sometime soon after season 5 concludes. And-here's a first!-June is not in this story, although of course Nick is thinking about her. I understand that many of you have your own ideas about Nick's background; sorry if this contradicts your 'head canon.'

This account follows the story of a teen Handmaid named Ofmartin. Alone and powerless in the Republic of Gilead, she must forge what connections she can to stay alive and one day maybe, if she is lucky, escape.

From the earliest days of the Jacobs, to her marriage to Joseph Lawrence, this is Naomi Putnam/Lawrence's tale. Ends at chapter 16, picks up again in chapter 8 of 'Luke and Nick'

Phone service between Gilead and Canada is spotty, but possible. Each chapter is a different phone call between characters, seasons 4-5.

In Season 5, episode 8, June receives a CD with a video of Hannah at school, along with some metadata showing her school's location. Who sent that package to June? The question isn't answered in the season finale, so I'll have to do it myself. One-shot.

Alternative to Season 5, episode 6 ("Together"). I really loved June ending up with Serena, but, well, what if Nick picked June up and drove her to the Canadian border instead? This is not a story for Team Luke fans. Apologies.
