Now the Gwen, Miguel, Peter, and the Spider Society must look at themselves in the cold morning light and see what they've allowed themselves to become. How their toxic grief has turned them into the very monsters they once swore to stop.

A twist of fate had separated their two stories, now another was bringing them crashing back together. And for the one who had lied to him, before forgiveness, there must first come understanding. An account of Miles's two days on Earth-42; his relationship with this shadow self and his uncle Aaron. And Gwen Stacy's trek to chase him down across the Spider-Verse and bring him home.

Miles' defeat of the Spot takes a heavy toll on his heart. Now, the Spider-Verse must work out what they can do to save the deteriorating hero of the multiverse while a new threat emerges. Gwen realizes her feelings for Miles while his parents tangle with an impossible decision. Story is also on AO3.

Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy are healing, growing closer together, and looking toward the future both in their lives as Spider-Man and Spider-Woman and Miles and Gwen. But then, a Spider Society mission goes wrong. Will they be able to save the multiverse again? And what secrets will be dredged up?

Turning into a cat is not how Miles expects his week to start, much less into a bumbling superpowered feline. Now, if only the others take his plight seriously and focus on helping him return to normal, he may not be tempted to claw someone's face as revenge. They are under time pressure, after all.

A year has passed since the events of Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse and Miles is still wearing his black and red proudly. But in the blink of an eye, his world is tipped on its head. Miles is the leader of one of New York's most dangerous gangs who hid his real self from everyone- that is until he met Gwen from the future.

So much has changed in so little time, and as Miles tries to navigate ALL that has changed, an old villain tests him. Pushes him right up to the edge of responsibility, of how he can USE his gifts. Of what he thought he could never be, until he saw it in another version of himself. It's not about a leap of faith now. It's about how far down he'll fall before he stops...

Summoning every ounce of strength I have left, I push aside the discomfort of his weight bearing down on me and manage to find my voice. "You don't strike me as much of a hero," I retort, my words laced with a mix of defiance and curiosity. Suddenly, his face inches closer, his breath tickling my ear, sending a shiver cascading down my spine.
