Same plot as the show, but with an added character. Michaela washed up on a San Campion beach with no memory and a strange power: when she plays music she can open the veil and summon creatures. When Ray, Allie, and Gabe join the temple, she doesn't expect much to change, but once the Choten's plans start to be put into action, her world is changed more than anyone else's.

It's been seven months after the Choten's defeat, and an entire year of dueling for Ray, Allie, and Gabe. Of course, things can only get harder from here on out as new threats emerge on both sides of the veil, and end up bringing up some rather unpleasant memories from the past.

I suggest you at least start Kaijudo with a Twist before reading this, but you don't have to. This is the story of Michaela, an unusual acolyte who gets trapped in the Nature Civilization for three weeks. This takes place before the series. Rated T to be safe.

The Choten is up to something yet again. One of the masters goes missing and the other masters believe it to be an accident, but the kids are thinking more along the lines of foul play. An unusual veil breach outside the range of the stalker spheres, and a motorcycle accident is all they have to go on to find the master. Will they find him/her before something really bad happens?

Or, as I like to call it, how to make the only good part of the Gauntlet/Vortex storyline even more enjoyable. And, you know, actually do stuff with the characters they introduced, rather than rely on Deux ex Machinas and shounen anime cliches. One-shot, rated T for violence.
