He had laid it out for me. Word for word. Why me not Peyton.

And I felt at peace with that. He had my heart. And I had his.

I had no reason to worry or feel insecure about his friendship with Peyton.

He had chosen me. And I chose him.

Nothing else mattered beyond that. I saw him throw away the letters he wrote to her.

Eventually the lights did come back on.

I knew things were too good to be true. I was waiting for the other shoe to drop.

And finding out about the kiss Peyton/Lucas shared during the shooting because Lucas brought it up by mistake.

Naley 's second wedding resulted in me ending my friendship with Peyton.

And sharing a kiss and dance with Lucas.

He had asked me on the way home if I was pregnant and I had said no.

But truthfully I didn't know.

Lucas and I were in such a weird place.

A pregnancy would only make this so much more intense.
