This is the fourth and final part to the Where The Bleeding Hearts Grow series. This work follows sequentially from Part Three – Tomorrow Will Be Different, which itself is based on Parts One and Two of the series. It is highly recommended to read all previous parts before reading Part Four, as there will be a lot of immediate questions left unanswered. I try to give contextual clues over what happened in previous parts, but it is always best to read from the beginning and work your way through.
Part Four is, as of the moment of posting, twenty-one chapters long. This part has a distinct format compared to previous parts, for it follows a three-thousand word principle, where each chapter is approximately three-thousand words in length. Most chapters will exceed this threshold, but do not go past five-thousand words per chapter. Additionally, Part Four does not follow the tradition of previous parts when it comes to an upload schedule.
In previous parts, I had followed a rigid interval of uploading each chapter within the works. This was attainable because Parts One, Two and Three were completed by the time I started uploading them, but Part Four is still being worked on at this point in time. I can promise that this work will be finished, but unlike Parts One, Two, and Three, I cannot promise a regular interval of chapter uploads. One of my personal gripes when reading good works from other writers, is the lack of transparency regarding when and how they upload chapters to their works, and so I hold myself strictly to this standard. I will not make a promise that I cannot keep.
Part Four will have multiple graphic depictions of violence and detailed descriptions of gore. If you feel that this work might become a detriment to your mental/physical wellbeing, then it is strongly encouraged that you do not read this part; however, it is ultimately left up to you, as the reader, to decide on reading. I will not force you to read this part, but neither will I take charge of your wellbeing, for it is not my place to do so. Read with care, and with the expectations that have been established here in this Prologue.
Any commentary, whether it be praise or a genuine critique, is always nice to hear. When prompted, I try my best to explain myself, so having the chance to expand on how these works are created is always fun to do. My ultimate goal is to have someone find inspiration from my work and be able to create something unique from it, just like what I've done with the canon material. I hope you, as the reader, enjoy the final installment to this work. All the best to you. - MB
