Naruhisa Tachibana was a naughty little boy
He knew this. His father, mother, and his siblings knew this. All the kids in the neighborhood knew this along with all of his teachers. Even the person who made the dictionary that his school used knew this as the boy's picture appeared next to the word "naughty".
Everyone knew this.
Ever causes trouble within his community, caring not how the consequences his actions might bring upon others and especially not caring or thinking how the consequences of his his actions would affect him.
Farmer Yuto had been tending to his crops, preparing himself for the day.
Making a list of chores to do for the day such as protecting his crops from gnarly pests, removing any food products not fit for consumption, tending to the greenhouses, and so on. The farmer had been working extra hard to the absolute bone as everything needed to be perfect.
Not only was his reputation on the line as being the better provider of fruits and vegetables in a 100-kilometer radius (and he wanted it to stay that way) but also the wind festival was coming up in a few days and that time of year demand for his products would usually shoot through the roof.
Thinking of all the money that he was going to make, Farmer Yuto never noticed the intruder that had trespassed upon his property until it was a little too late.
'The night sky and the moon are beautiful.' Naruhisa thought as he peered out of his bedside window in a pitful attempt to forget about everything.
Trying to forget how his innocent prank on Farmer Yuto somehow led to the man's crops burning down, to the angry farmer demanding compensation (justifiably)from Naruhisa's family for damages, and worst of all, the money used to compensate Farmer Yuto came from the apprenticeship fund set up for Naruhisa, meaning the boy's dream of becoming a carpenter may never come to fruition.
The moon glistened in the night sky refusing to help the boy forget the consequences of his actions, however, the creaking of his closet seemed to do the trick.
The closet in question never creaked before, and in the dark room, it sat in total isolation across the room, neatly packed away in the corner. Despite hardly being able to see the wooden contraption, Naruhisa could make out what appeared to be a hand slowly emerging out of it.
Within a second later, a creature of exaggerated lengthy proportions shot out of the closet, its body ever connected to the closet akin to that of a jack in a box shooting out of said box.
The creature's upper body kept lengthening at great speeds as it flew across the room; never disconnecting from the closet as it caught hold of Naruhisa's ragged pajamas.
The head of the creature was that of an old man with shaggy black hair, and bandages that covered his forehead along with the right side of his head.
The most noticeable feature of the creature's face was the X-shaped scar that sat squarely upon its chin.
"You're going to Konoha," was all the creature said, its upper body being violently pulled back into the closet whence it came, this time with Naruhisa in tow.
Naruhisa Tachibana was never seen or heard of ever again.
The end.
