Mama Told Me Not To Kung Fu
It is a good day today in the Valley Of Peace. The Jade Palace students stood in a line. They were all standing outside in the training courtyard.
"I want your full attention for this lesson if you don't want to get hurt." Shifu said, facing his students. "The Iron Samara is a move that requires focus and concentration."
Leo looks at Po twirling around. He followed the panda's eyes and notice a dumpling at the bottom of the panda's foot. The young man rolls his eyes as he was a little annoyed.
"You and Crane will perform next before Leo." Shifu instructed. "Leo, after they perform the move, you may choose one to perform the Iron Samara."
"Yes Master." Leo bows his head to the small red panda.
Viper slithers forward a couple feet as Monkey did the same with Crane. Tigress got on all fours. When the cutout dummy pops up, the feline ran towards Monkey and jumps toward him. Monkey flings her at the dummy. Tigress spun forward in mid-air and shatters it with a single kick.
"Very good." Shifu said.
The next cutout pops up behind Viper. Mantis hops forward a couple times to Viper and the green snake flings to the dummy. The small bug shatters it with a kick as well.
It was Po and Crane's turn next. Leo watched the panda runs to Crane and jumps to him. The avian offered no assistance. The panda rolls out the door and fell down the stairs.
"Crane, someone can get hurt if you done that in combat." Shifu said to the avian.
"Someone always gets hurt because Kung Fu isn't safe!" Crane complained. "Someone once said that." He lets out a sigh. "I have to leave." The avian turns and started walking towards the door.
"What? To where?"
Crane stops and turned to them. "I'm quitting the Furious Five." he tells them. Crane opens the door, hitting Po by accident.
Shifu, Leo and the rest of the Five heads to the doors.
"Goodbye, everyone. Forever." Crane said. He spreads out his wings and flew away.
"What's... Did he just..." Po was trying to say. He looks up back to his friend fly away. "Crane!"
"Perhaps we'll end today's training." Shifu turns to his students. "You're free to do whatever you want for today."
The panda ran after Crane and Leo left the courtyard ahead of the rest of the Five and Shifu. Tigress and Viper watches Leo heading towards the Jade Palace.
"I wonder what kind of stuff that needed Leo's attention in the past few days." Tigress wondered.
"I'm not sure, Tigress." Viper looks at the orange feline. "I know he hasn't talked to you about what happened with the messenger and Mugan. He did trained much harder when you weren't around."
"I just wished he could talk to me about it soon." Tigress said.
The young man lets out a growled irritation in anger. He spent half the hour reading through the scroll and it doesn't mention anything about removing a seal or a beast within the body. But he did learn some new stuff in the library for past several months. Leo thought he should step out of the library and meditate for a couple of hours.
He steps out of the library and notice the small red panda meditating by the pool. As Leo took one step, he looks up and saw several wolves hanging onto the columns. The human jumps toward the wolf off guard and grabs him by the tail and slams the wolf on the floor hard.
Leo sent out a flurry of hard punches to the wolf's face. He headbutts the wolf in the face a couple times and kicks the wolf's crotch hard before doing a front kick to the wolf's chest. Leo jumps backward to avoid several meteor hammers and lands besides his master who heard the commotion.
"The Lin Kuei." Shifu got into his kung fu stance.
Leo began dodging the chain hammer attacks once again. He had to push each one away to avoid getting hit. Leo backwards from a spiked hammer.
"Ah!" Shifu gasps as his tail was caught by a chain hammer. He saw three chain hammers coming towards him.
"Ha!" Leo shouted from above. He spun forward and did a strong axe kick on all three hammers. All three hammers hits the floor as the human landed perfectly on his feet. Leo saw the rest of The Five rushing into the hall, causing the wolves to face them. This gave Leo an opportunity to jump over the wolves and swept one of them of their feet before joining up with the other four warriors.
The wolves threw their chain hammers at all of them. All four warriors dodged the hammers. Leo, however, dove forward to dodge the hammers again. Monkey jumps from one of the columns to attack, but he was knocked away from the hammer. Mantis was slammed into a hammer.
The green snake wraps her body around the chain as it was pulled. Viper tries to attack the wolf, but the wolf dodges her and she hits the column.
"Hmph!" Leo grunted as he caught a chain hammer. He spins around and slams the weapon into another chain hammer. Leo pulls the chain along with another wolf and delivers a strong uppercut to the jaw with a sideway spin downward punch to the side of the wolf's face to the ground.
"Leo, watch out!" Viper cried out.
The human looks up and saw two more chain hammers coming towards him. He quickly caught both hammers with his hands. But a third hammer successfully hits him in the stomach. "Gah!" Leo grunted as he skids a couple feet and hanging onto all three hammers.
Another wolf threw his hammer at the unexpected panda walking into the hall.
"Damn." Po groans a little and looks up as he was on all fours. "Do over?" The Dragon Warrior got up and rush inside but jumps backward to avoid and caught two of them in his paws. "You guys can't be fighting here. I got to turn this place into a inn!"
Meanwhile, the three wolves were still trying to pull their hammers away from the human. Leo tightens his grip hard. The Dragon Warrior was caught from behind from a fast wolf. "You're fast." he said. Po jumps backward and lands on another wolf, causing the wolf to release him. "But flimsy." The Dragon Warrior kicks them both in the head that sent to them a couple feet away.
All three wolves pulled hard at the same time. Leo used it to launch him to the three wolves. He pushed two hammers at the two wolves and he slams the third hammer against the wolf's chest. Leo jumps over the defeated wolves and lands behind them. Leo hisses at a wolf angrily.
The wolves takes out several smoke bombs and threw them onto the ground, creating a cover of gray smoke.
"Who were those guys?" Monkey wondered.
"They are the Lin Kuei." Shifu answered as took a few steps. "The Lin Kuei are trained thieves and assassins that has been trained from birth in the arts of stealth and combat."
"Cool." Po said.
"What was their objective?" Leo walks up to his master.
"I don't know." Shifu replied. "They don't give up that easily because they will be back."
"Anyway, since we'll be here guarding the Jade Palace, we all help out Crane too! Cuz uh..." Po chuckled.
"Help Crane with what?" Leo walks up besides him.
"Crane's mother is visiting today. Because..." Po chuckled. Leo looked a little confused at him. "You'll never believe what he told his mom."
"What did Crane told his mother, Po?"
"He told her that he manages an inn." Po chuckled nervously.
"Po, we all know that Crane doesn't manage an inn. He's a Kung Fu Master." Viper said.
"Why would he tell his mom that?" Monkey wondered.
"Because his mom hated kung fu ever since she found out her six-year-old son took a kung fu class." Po explains. "You could say she's overprotected of him. So Crane promised his mom that he would never, ever have anything to do with kung fu. Even the slightest hint of it would give her dangerous heart palpitations. His mother's heart will kill her if she finds out Crane is a kung fu master since she has a weak heart. And she's visiting today."
"Ok, but why should we help him?" Leo crosses his arms, raising an eyebrow. "And how long will she stay?"
"Just for the day." Po smiles nervously.
"Anything else did Crane say to her?" Monkey asked.
"He told her the Jade Palace is an inn and me and the Five and Leo work for him. And Shifu is a poor, underprivileged simpleton who cleans the toilets."
"He told her what?!" Shifu's voice raised as his voice echoed outside of the palace.
"Did you really not hear me or are you just surprised?"
"We heard you, Po." Leo replied.
"So you want us to pretend that the Jade Palace is an inn, we work here and Shifu is an underprivileged simpleton?" Viper asked.
Shifu paused and thought about it. "I won't do it."
"Huh?" Po asked in confusion.
Leo stood in his spot as the rest of the Five walks by them to Shifu.
"I don't know, Po." Tigress said.
"Does it have to be today?"
"Sounds like a pain." Monkey added.
"Well either we do it, or Crane quits the Furious Five. He needs us, you guys." Po said.
"Absolutely not." Shifu turns to face him and walks up to Po. "The Jade Palace is built on complete honesty."
"What about when you made up that Challenge Day thing or when you told me my Kung Fu would improve if I wore a bucket on my head?"
"The first one was to teach you a lesson." Shifu answered. "And the second one... was hilarious." He turns his back on him.
"Crane's mother has a bad heart, Master Shifu." Po said to him. "If Crane's mother finds out the truth, it could really kill her."
Shifu lets out a sigh. "Fine."
"Awesome!" Po smiled.
Leo said nothing as he watch the panda leave the hall for a moment and came back with several small red hats. The Dragon Warrior gave them each a hat along with a broom to Shifu. The human puts the hat on his head. "Hmph." he puts his hands behind his back.
Leo watches Shifu walking up to the side of the pool and stood there. He saw Monkey and Po walking up to the door and glances over to Viper who was talking to Tigress. The feline notices him looking at her. He didn't say a word and walks up to one of the columns.
The doors opened and Crane was standing behind his mother. His mother was short, but a little taller than the villagers. She was wearing a blue robe with a purple sash with a purse.
"Howdy boss." Monkey greeted them. He and Po both bowed to the two avians.
"Right this way, Mrs. Crane." Po said to her.
Crane follows his mother inside the hall as he notices Monkey was keeping a smile on him.
"Would you look at this place?" his mother looks at the inn as Tigress bows to them. "This place is wonderful."
"Afternoon, sir." Viper bowed.
Both avians stop in the middle of the room and sees a small hat walking towards them.
Mantis lifts the hat up to look at them. "This must be your beautiful-"
"AHH!" Crane's mother screamed, hitting the green bug with her purse.
Mantis collapsed under the hat in pain.
"Crane, I'm so proud of you." his mother hugs him. "Of course I'd be proud of you no matter what you did... as long as it wasn't kung fu! But that' ridiculous because you're so frail."
"I'm not that frail, mom." Crane said as his mother releases him.
His mother looks at the employees. "Oh, everybody is just how you described them in your letters." she said before whispering to her son. "Didn't you say the tiger was a girl?"
Tigress's eyes widened and her smile disappeared.
"And you must be little Shy Fu!" Crane's mother smiled, noticing the angry small red panda sweeping the floor.
Crane looks at his friends and glances back to his mother. They watch Shifu turns around and smiled at Crane's mother. The smile Shifu gave was weird and a little creepy.
"Hello, Shy Fu." Crane's mother talks to him slowly. Shifu's smiled disappeared with a angry frown. "I am Crane's mommy, Yan Fan!"
There was an awkward silence. Shifu's right ear twitch and glances to Po. The Dragon Warrior shrugs his shoulders.
Yan Fan turns to them. "Does he understand words?" she whispers to them loudly. "He's so cute." Yan Fan pinches his cheeks before raising her voice. "You just want to eat him up. Would you like some bean paste?" She takes her purse off and began searching her bag.
Crane and his employees walks up to them.
"You carry bean paste? Are you some kind of super mom?" Po wondered.
Yan Fan takes out a green jar with her beak and places it on her wing before answering. "I thought I'd better bring some. Crane can be a little whiny when his blood sugar's low."
"I do not!" Crane whines.
When Yan Fan took the lid off, the panda took a sniff. "Ah. A guy can get used to that smell."
"All of you are so nice." Yan Fan smiled. "If you insist, I'll stay here one more day."
"What?" they all asked surprised as Shifu grips the broom tighter.
"No, you can't!" Crane exclaims, walking by Po to stand in front his mother. "Where would you stay?"
"Here at the inn of course." Yan Fan replied. "This is an inn, right?"
"That is correct." Leo said, before Po and the Five can answer. Everyone turns their attention to him as he walks up to them. "My apologizes. I was outside on my break to get some air."
"I see." Crane said.
"Welcome to the inn, Mrs. Crane." Leo bows to her.
"It's nice to meet you, Leo." Yan Fan smiles at him. "When Crane mentioned he hired a human for the inn, I was very surprised. Will you be so kind to take my bag?"
"Certainly." Leo replied.
She hands the purse over to him and looks at her son. "So where's my room for tonight, Crane?"
Leo coughs under his breath. He walks over to his friends.
"What are we going to do? We can't put my mother in the student barracks." Crane said worriedly.
"But there's no bedrooms in the Jade Palace." Mantis said.
Leo bit his lip. "Shifu's bedroom is the only one in the Jade Palace. There's no other place but that." He looks over his shoulder and saw his master's arm shaking with anger.
"Ha ha." Po laughs nervously as he walks by his master to Shifu's room. "Allow me to show to you to your room."
"This way, little fellow. Chop chop." Yan Fan said to him slowly.
Shifu follows her. He looks at Po angrily, causing the big panda to laugh nervously. His broom brushes against Po's cheek.
Several of the wolves was in the middle of a dark forest underneath the night sky. Their leader was another wolf who was wearing iron armor and a iron mask over his face. He only had one eye. "You idiots!" he snaps at them. "Several Kung Fu Masters should be no match against you!"
"Forgive us, sir." one of the wolves bow his head in apology. "There were two warriors that was too strong. He calls himself the Dragon Warrior. And the other was the human they call Leo. He's much, much stronger than the Dragon Warrior and the Furious Five."
Their leader takes out a spiked chain hammer and whacks the minion into a tree before he jumps off from a rock he was sitting on. "But those two are not that much stronger than me, Heilang." he said with a growl. Heilang takes out a scroll and opens it. It was map of the Jade Palace. Another wolf walks up to him as the map was set down on a boulder. "This is where the Shadow Crowns are being kept." Heileng point to the bottom right corner. "Whoever wear these crowns will become invisible. They were stolen from us centuries ago because they were once the Lin Kuei's power source." He folds the map and grabs the other wolf's throat and kicks him hard in the stomach.
The other wolf coughed.
"I will get those crowns back from those damn Kung Fu scum." Heilang said with a evil smirk on his face. "I will have them back. With those Shadow Crowns, we will all be unseen and unbeatable. Then we will have our vengeance against those who stole from the Lin Kuei!" he laughs evilly.
"This place is amazing." Yan Fan said to his son. "Thank you, son, this is lovely."
"Great." Crane smiles, walking up to his mother. "If you need anything, let me know."
The two avians turns their attention to the panda who was looking through her purse.
"Oh." Po chuckled. "I'm just make sure that the beans are still, uh, pasty." He hands the purse back to Crane's mom.
"Okay, good night, mom." Crane hugs her.
"Goodnight, son." Yan Fan said to him.
Po and Crane back out of the room, waving. Once they were both out, they glance at one another and smiled. They took a couple steps forward and notices an angry Shifu looking at them with Leo standing behind the small red panda.
"And where's the simpleton supposed to sleep?" Shifu asks them angrily.
"You can bunk with me!" Po smiles at him. "We'll tell each other ghost stories."
"Absolutely not!" Shifu shakes his head. "I'm not bunking with anyone. I'm taking your room." But he pauses and thought for a moment. "No. I'll take Crane's room since his room is clean."
"That won't be necessary, Shifu." Leo said behind him.
"And why not, Leo?" Shifu turns to the human.
"You'll take my room." he replied. "I'll sleep outside tonight."
"But Leo, you should..." Crane was trailing off.
Leo, Po and Shifu knew where he was going with this. Shifu allowed him to sleep in the same room on the same bed with Tigress when they began to have a relationship. And the small red panda knew that both of his students would not cross the line.
"I appreciate you letting me have your room, Leo. But you shouldn't you share a room with Tigress instead of sleeping outside?" Shifu asks him.
"I'll be fine." Leo answered.
Yan Fan opens her eyes. "Water." she sniffles. The avian picks hops off the bed and lights a candle before leaving the room. When she left the room and turned right to see her son sleeping near the room's entrance. "My poor feeble baby is all tuckered out. I'll just find some water myself." She begins to wonder the hall. "That pool should really have a fence around it."
Meanwhile, Heilang and the Lin Kuei drops down from the ceiling in a different room. There was a green chest with a lock on it. He was about to break the lock.
"Ahem."
The wolves turn around to face Yan Fan. They growled at her in response.
"Good. You must be the night porters." Yan Fan said.
The Lin Kuei stops growling and looks at one another confused.
"Yes?" Heilang look perplexed.
"I'm thirsty. Water. My room." she tells them.
"Yes?" Heilang continued to look confused. But he had an idea. "Would you stand right there for one moment with the light?" He turns back to the chest and breaks the lock before looking back at her. "Thank you, mam. We'll bring that water to your room right away."
"See that you do." Yan Fan said and she left the room.
Heiang opens the chest. Inside the chest were silver-gray headgears. He picks up the Shadow Crown and places it on his head, becoming invisible. The other wolves picks up the crowns and places it on their heads to become invisible as well.
Crane was startled and open his eyes to see his mom awake. "What are you doing up, mom?"
"That nice wolf is just bringing me a glass of water, Crane." Yan Fan answered. "You don't have to worry about it."
"Oh, nice wolf." Crane nodded as his mother went back to the room. As Crane was about to sleep again, he pause and gasps. He saw Po, Shifu and Leo running to the moon pool as the avian flew to them.
"Did you guys hear something?" Po asked them.
"I think the Lin Kuei are back." Crane answered.
"You're right." Heilang smirked. He punches the avian into the wall before doing a spinning hook kick to Po.
The Dragon Warrior landed on his stomach.
"They've stolen the Shadow Crowns!" Shifu yelled as he realized the wolves are using the crowns.
"An excellent deduction!" Heilang shouted as he lands behind the red panda punches from behind.
Leo dove forward to dodge an attack from behind him. But he felt his stomach got punched from an invisible wolf. Leo growled and quickly grabs the wolf and did several knee strikes to return the favor and did a strong headbutt to the wolf's head.
"Where's my-" Yan Fan walks out of the room and stops to see Shifu doing kung fu.
"You have to get out of here! We're being attacked!" Shifu shouted at her.
She saw her son knocked out near the entrance. "Crane! Oh, my heart!"
Crane wakes up and saw his mom placing both wings on her chest. "Don't worry, mom!" Crane tells her. "I-uh-"
"The simpleton is playing kung fu master again, boss!" Po interrupted.
"Ri-right! And we should play along to not tax his little mind!" Crane quickly agreed.
Leo dodges a chain hammer to the side and tackles another wolf into a column. With his hand around the wolf's throat, he started punching rapidly to the face. Leo sent a half spinning upper cut to the jaw to propel the wolf in the air. The human grabs his muzzle and landed on the floor, slamming the wolf's neck against his shoulder before rolling forward and launches the wolf across the room.
"Don't use your chain hammers, you idiots!" Heilang exclaims angrily. "They'll give away your position!"
"Who said that?" Yan Fan wondered.
"Oh, that was me!" Po quickly lied and changed his voice. "We will show these inn employees the error of their ways, my minions!" A wolf grabs him by the ankle and started slamming the panda in the column a few times, spins him around before tossing Po into another column. "Pretend concussion." he groans before he fainted.
The doors burst open and the rest of the Five rushed in.
"What's going on?" Tigress asked. She saw Po, Shifu and Leo using kung fu.
"Shifu's pretending to fight bad guys and we're playing along." Crane quickly said.
"We're doing what?" Monkey looks perplexed.
An invisible wolf pushes Monkey and attacks Tigress from behind. Leo didn't waste a single second as he released a flurry of kicks to an invisible wolf. While Leo kept up his attack, Mantis performs the Iron Samara. But the green bug missed and hits the shelf.
As Viper was distracted, another invisible wolf ties her into a knot and started slamming her on the floor.
"This doesn't look so, uh, pretend." Yan Fan said.
Po and Heilang grabs each other's paws, pushing against one another.
"So you must be the Dragon Warrior."
"And you..." Po sniffs his stinky breath. "Must not be a big fan of brushing your teeth. What's the point that I can't see you but smell you when your invisible?" He felt the wolf's paws letting go of his paws. While he wonders where he'll strike next, the leader attacks him from behind with several punches before throwing him across the hall and into wall near the avians.
"Hmph!" Leo skids besides Crane, looking around the hall. "Son of a bitch!"
"So you must be this "human" I keep hearing." Heilang's voice said from somewhere. "A warrior of no fur, no claws, no tail and no wings."
Leo didn't respond but lets out a yell of pain as the leader scratch across his chest and punches him with a uppercut. He lands on his hands and quickly got back on his feet.
"But no matter. All that's left is you and the birds."
"Is this really happening, son?!" Yan Fan asked worriedly.
"Yes it is." Heilang answered and grabs her beak to choke her. "And I suggest you tell your son and the human to surrender now, you bitch."
"Let go of my mom!" Crane yells at him.
"Or what?" the wolf chuckles, throwing Crane's mother to the wall before facing the two warriors. "You can't fight what you can't see!"
Yan Fan felt her heart beating going faster.
"Uh..." Crane took a couple steps back and felt the bean paste bar near his ankles. He picks it up. "But you can fight what you can see!" The avian quickly flew to the air and opens the jar before diving and tossing the bean paste to the wolves and he can see where the wolves are standing.
"Crane!" Leo shouted, tossing a large mace to Crane.
Crane caught the mace and spins rapidly to knock off the Shadow Crowns.
"Chain Hammers!" Heilang shouted in frustration. His men took out their chain hammers and attacks Crane and Leo.
Crane caught two chain hammers and begins to spin fast above the moon pool. Leo dove from the air and slam both wolves in the heads with his fists. He jumps backwards to avoid the two chain hammers from his attackers. Leo caught both chain hammers with his hands and yanks the two wolves to him and delivers a spinning jump hook kick.
His attack sent the two wolves into the other wolves across the hall. Leo faced Heilang as Crane lands next his friend with the mace pointed at the leader. He tosses it aside. "Get out." Crane said with a stern look on his face.
"I have just defeated the Dragon Warrior." the wolf smirks at them. "Why would you think you can defeat me?"
"Because nobody's mean to my mommy!" Crane shouted.
"Gr!" Leo growls furiously as he quickly jumps over the wolf as Crane and Heilang began their fight.
Heilang broke through the avian's defenses and delivers kick to the stomach that sent Crane a few feet in the air. Crane dove towards the wolf and kicks him in the chest.
Leo caught the wolf from behind and jumps high before falling back down and delivered a knee strike to the rib cage. As the wolf bounces off his knee and was midair again, the human dove under the wolf and did a backward elbow strike to the muzzle that sent Heilang a few feet away.
"Hmph!" Leo dove between the shelf and the moon pool. He looks up and saw Crane catching the chain and used the chain to wrap up Heilang. The avian began to spin the wolf around above the moon pool. Leo performed a wallkick and delivers two strong palm strikes to add more power to Crane's throw.
The wolves flew out of the Jade Palace as Crane lands and approached his mother.
"You're a kung fu master, Crane!?" his mother exclaims in surprised.
"I'm sorry, mom! I couldn't tell you! I won't do kung fu ever, ever again! I promised!" Crane promised.
There was a moment of silence.
"Nonsense, Crane!" Yan Fan smiled. "You were incredible tonight! And you saved my life."
"So you're not having a heart attack?" Crane asked as he saw her wing on her chest.
"No, Crane." Yan Fan answered. "This is pride."
"But you said you never wanted me to do kung fu."
"Because you can get hurt." Yan Fan said. "I thought you were weak and fragile for so many years. But look at you now. Who knew you were gonna get so... good? Crane, can you ever forgive me, Crane?"
"Of course, mom." Crane said as the two started hugging each other.
Po stood there with a smile on his face as he watches them. He notices Leo panting a bit while he was kneeling on one knee. The Dragon Warrior saw Leo's dark expression in the water.
The next morning, everyone stood outside of the Jade Palace. Yan Fan stood in front of them.
"I want to thank you all of you for making me feel so welcome here at the Jade Palace." Yan Fan thanks them.
"Take care." Tigress said.
"Great to meet you." Mantis said.
"Have a safe trip." Viper smiled.
"Come again!" Monkey smiled.
"Be safe out there." Leo nodded.
Po walks over to Yan Fan and hugs her. "Goodbye, Crane's mom." he said and sets her down.
"It was so kind of you to come and visit, ma'am." Shifu kisses her wing.
"Aw." she said before speaking slowly to him. "Thank you, little Shy-Fu!" Yan looks at her son and walks up to him. "Goodbye, son. Come visit me."
"I will!" Crane promised her and gives his mom a hug. "Goodbye, mom!"
The two birds let and Yan Fan turns around and started to fly away from the Jade Palace.
"Well that could've ended worse. Sort of." Po said.
Crane notices Shifu walking up to him. "I am so sorry that things got out of control, Master Shifu." he apologizes to his master. "I would like to un-quit the Furious Five, if that's okay with you."
"Very well."
"Let that be a lesson to you, Crane." Po said to Crane. "Honesty is always the best policy."
"Wasn't pretending the Jade Palace was an inn your brilliant idea, Po?" Shifu asks him.
"Well, I don't know about that." the panda chuckled. "Maybe it was a brilliant idea, cunning too, maybe. But I dunno."
"Good." Shifu said as he by the two warriors and turns around to face them. "Because you'll have plenty of time to think about it as you two run up and down the Jade Palace stairs a hundred times as punishment."
Po and Crane both look at the staircase.
"Not a brilliant idea." Po said.
"Definitely not." Crane agreed.
"Heh." Leo chuckled.
"Oh, Master Shifu. Before I start my punishment, can I talk to Leo alone for a few moments?" Po asked him.
"Of course." Shifu said.
As Crane left to begin his punishment and Shifu and the rest of the Five going to the kitchen, it was just Leo and Po.
"What is it you want to talk about, Po?" Leo asks him as the panda walks up to him.
"I wanted to talk to you about last night." Po answered. "You were awesome last night when you were fighting the Lin Kuei."
"And so were you, Po."
"When they attacked you with their hammers, you held onto them and flung yourself towards them. I think one of them might get a sore throat after slamming their throat on your shoulder and you didn't waste a single second on them." Po said.
"Once I had my fist against them, I threw in a flurry of attacks and not giving them a moment to block."
"And you even offered your room to Shifu last night and slept outside." Po mentioned. "How come you slept outside if there's a lot of space in your room?"
"Because the damn Lin Kuei came back last night, Po. And we couldn't tell Crane's mom that she could sleep in the barracks." Leo replied.
"Are you sure? Because you would sleep with Tigress and we know you haven't talked to each other after that messenger and Mugan incident, except going on missions, plus she really wants talk to you about it. She's worried about you. And so are we."
"I'm fine, Po." Leo replied. "I'll talk to her when the time comes. I've just been with some stuff that needed my attention. I'll see you later."
Po watches the human leave to head inside the Jade Palace.
Not bad for this chapter. I know some of the Kung Fu Panda LOA are out of order so I decided to introduce the Lin Kuei first in this chapter. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter and don't forget to leave a review!
