Before Hanna could reply they heard a door open and shut.

"Hanna!"

Only thing Hanna thought in that moment was 'oh shit'

"Hanna are you home?" Ashley called out before they heard her footsteps ascending up the stairs.

Hanna and Caleb immediately got out of bed with their heartbeats getting more and more erratic.

Caleb grabs her shirts and bottoms and toss it to her swiftly. Hanna hurried to put her clothes on as she heard her moms footsteps coming closer. She looked back and Caleb's clothes were already on.

"Hide!" She panically whispered before going out the bedroom door and quickly closing the door behind her.

She looked up and saw her mom standing there.

Hanna jumped, she didn't expect her mom to be right in front of her door.

"Sorry i didn't mean to scare you. It's just that our conference got out early and Ted asked me out on a date last minute." Ashley explained.

Hanna blinked before nodding. "Oh okay so um, you need help or something?"

"Yes I need to borrow your shoes." Ashley said squeezing past Hanna. The blonde teen quickly whirled around. "Wait uh what are you doing?"

Ashley just gave her a weird look. "I'm getting your shoes to borrow for my date, don't be stingy with your shoes now." Her mom joked before opening the door.

Hanna felt her heart drop. "Wait I can get them for you." Hanna said trying to walk ahead of her mom to get to the closet.

"Don't worry cause if I can't find the black ones, I'll get the red ones instead." Ashley said shrugging before opening the closet before Hanna could get there.

Ashley gasped immediately "Hanna!"

Hannas heart dropped.

"This dress is so cute! You should see if they have it my size." She said eying the new red dress Hanna got in California before grabbing the shoess.

Hannas heart was pounding. "Y-yeah I'll check on the website soon."

Hanna let out a long sigh. She was thanking her lucky stars Caleb wasn't hiding in the closet.

"Hopefully they can ship here. But I have to go get ready." Ashley said apologetically knowing she was cutting their conversation short but she only had an hour and thirty minutes before Ted got here.

Hanna just nodded. "It's okay go ahead I'll probably just go out or something I don't know yet."

Ashley was gonna say something but when she saw her watch her eyes nearly bulged out of her head. "Okay!" She replied sharply turning and speed walking to her room to get ready for her date.

Hanna went into her room and locked the door when she closed it. "Caleb?" She whispered.

She suddenly saw his head peak out from under the bed. "Good spot I nearly had a heart attack when she went to the closet." Hanna whispered sitting by him.

Sean was upset about Hanna. He liked her a lot. He wanted her back. How could she just leave him for a poor phone hacker.

He went on a jog down the streets of rosewood trying to calm himself down.

He has everything. Money, good grades, great reputation, plus Sean believed he was a nice guy. That's why he didn't understand why she gravitated towards him and didn't even give him a second chance like he deserved.

The first thing he thought of was ways to get Caleb in trouble, maybe get him expelled. That would force him to transfer schools. There's only one highschool in rosewood. But Sean realized his phone buisness would probably get a light suspension plus everyone that was involved. Including Sean himself.

He thought of hurting Caleb. The blonde teen instantly thought of noel. Maybe he could ask noel to set him up. He knew his friend was capable of it. Noel after all did push a sorority girl down the stairs at a party after she didn't agree to sleep with him after giving her money. Unfortunately for Sean like the last idea he had to shoot it down. Caleb would never go anywhere near them unless he had a good reason. Plus he highly doubted he'd do the phone with them.

Sean felt annoyed and frustrated. Usually things always goes his way. He figured it was cause of his religious faith but right now he wondered why he couldn't get a answer.

It's not like he could get make her jealous. Sean already has tried that at the parties. The blonde quarterback danced and talked to multiple girls, but it looked like Hanna couldn't care less that or she didn't notice thanks to Caleb being there.

When he was gonna give up he walked on the street and heard a flute being played beautifully. He looked curious to see who was playing it and saw someone sitting in a chair.

He walked towards them and saw Jenna marshal sitting on her front porch with her signature black shades on her face. Jenna's white cane was propped up against the chair as she played.

Sean suddenly got the answer he was looking for. Jenna.

"Who's there." Jenna said putting her flute down into her lap waiting expectantly for a answer.

Sean was surprised and confused. How did she know he was there.

"It's Sean, from school." He answered now approaching her and sitting on the porch.

"Oh hi." She said simply not saying anything else before grabbing her flute.

Sean knew she probably didn't want to talk but he needed her help. She was the only one who had animosity towards Hanna.

"How did you know I was there?" Sean asked curiously without thinking before mentally slapping himself. He didn't think about how offensive that would come off.

Jenna didn't seem to mind the rude question. "I heard your footsteps and smelled you."

Sean again was surprised and looked at himself wondering what the hell he smelled like.

"Do I smell bad?"

Jenna snorted. "You just smell like sweat."

"Oh." Sean said awkwardly.

"What do you want? I'm sure you didn't come here to have a conversation with me for no reason." Jenna said grabbing her instrument case and putting her flute inside.

"I know you don't like Hanna-" Sean started but Jenna interrupted her.

"I hate Hanna." Jenna said bluntly correcting him.

"Hate her. So I want to do something to ruin something for her. But I need your help."

Jenna didn't say anything for a couple seconds. "What's in it for You."

" I hate Caleb and I want Hanna back. We both get what we want, what do you think." Sean asked raising an eyebrow.

Before Jenna could reply the front door opened and Toby and spencer walked out of it.

Spencer saw him with Jenna and furrowed get eye brows at them both before walking away bluntly ignoring both. Toby walked right behind spencer to her truck and got in before speeding off.

Jenna looked in Sean's direction before smiling. "I'm in."

In that moment sean realized that his religion must've gave him the tool he needed. Little did he know it was the very opposite

"Hi Hanna and you are?" Kate Randall asked questioningly shaking the hand of Hanna's friend.

"Aria. Nice to meet you Kate." She said also shaking her hand.

"This is my friend Shelby." Kate introduced her friend outside the entrance of the designer brand outlets.

They politely greeted each other before walking inside.

"So how's school going? I heard your school is interesting." Kate said as they walked in a dress store.

"School is great. We still have a few days left over our break but you know everything is okay. Same old." Aria replied with a shrug.

"Yeah besides the annoying teachers."

Kate just had a smile Hanna didn't like. It made her feel uneasy.

"Well my dad has a surprise for you. I think you'll like it." She said before looking at her friend and giggling.

Aria and Hanna looked at each other with confusion on their face. However her annoyance overshadowed her confusion. Her dad? They literally have the same dad.

"Oh my god I love this dress don't you?" Shelby interrupted and pulled out a red sparkly dress.

Hanna found it hideous but lied to be nice.

Aria was confused. When Hanna picked aria up, the whole ride was filled about how wicked her step sister is and how much of a bitch she and her mother is. And nearly a few hours went by and she hasn't picked up anything weird besides the giggling earlier.

Hanna and aria went to the fitting room to try on the dress they picked out.

They went to the biggest stall and both went into it together. Thankfully it was spacious.

"She doesn't seem so bad ?" Aria said as a question as she started to strip out of her clothes.

"You don't know her. You're just seeing this version but her and her mom are bitches." Hanna said annoyedly rolling her eyes while pulling down her pants

"Maybe she's changed?" Aria tried being optimistic while picking up a navy blue dress.

"Oh come on. All she has been talking about the whole time is. "My daddy did this. My daddy does this for me. Daddy daddy daddy." Hanna mocked taking off her shirt and grabbing a golden tight dress.

"Well we're leaving soon. Maybe we can go hang out with the group." Aria suggests while she looked at the dress she was wearing in the mirror.

"Absolutely not. You guys can I'm going back home." Hanna said not wanting to see Spencer at all.

"You guys are still mad at eachother?" Aria frowns before turning around so Hanna can unzip arias dress.

"Yes. Very much. We haven't spoke since we the Pierre." Hanna shrugs as she looked at the dress in the mirror.

"You guys need to talk it out. You guys are best friends. I'm sure once you guys explain how you feel, you'll forgive eachother. " Aria said matter of factly.

"I guess. But she's going to have to talk to me." Hanna said stubbornly taking off the dress and grabbing a emerald green dress.

"You're so stubborn." Aria said rolling her eyes. "Anyway I'm sure you guys will talk to eachother soon."

Hanna just sighed. "Hopefully..."

"So how are things with you and Caleb ."aria said switching the topic not wanting to continue to talk about the fight constantly.

"We're good we went on our first semi-date in public in rosewood yesterday." Hanna beamed.

"Awe! cute how did it go?" Aria smiled looking at a red dress she picked out wondering if it worth trying on, now that she was looking at it again.

"It went great. It's. Just we ran into Sean and he was trying to sit with us. He's taking this friendship thing way too seriously." Hanna snorted putting on a magenta colored dress.

"Sean tried to sit with you when you guys were practically having a date? Does he know you guys are dating?" Aria asked puzzled at what Hanna said before also putting the dress on.

"Yeah... well he didn't know at first till we told him. But he honestly didn't care." Hanna said smoothing the baggy dress out trying to make it look better. She must've gotten the wrong size accidentally.

"Mmm I don't know that seems kinda weird. How did Caleb react?" Aria questioned furrowing her eyebrows.

"Well Caleb doesn't like Sean for one. But he felt kinda awkward about it but he didn't want to feel controlling you know..." Hanna said picking up the last dress. It was a fitting gold satin dress. The dress had a leg slit on both sides while having thin straps and a deep v neck.

It looked great on her but at the moment she was thinking about arias words.

"Do you think Sean wants you back?" Aria said putting the dress on she was previously debating on. She lived the way it looked.

"Not anymore. I heard he was talking to Paige so I'm glad he's moving on. Makes things easier." Hanna said truly meaning it as she put the final dress she had on.

"Hopefully he doesn't pull anything. But why am I picking a dress again if I'm not going to the dance your dad is throwing?" Aria wondered out loud.

"Cause I needed someone to pick a dress with me to look like you were. It'll surprise them both when I show up with Caleb." Hanna smiled at aria and then at her reflection cause she loved the way the dress looked.

Soon school started back again and almost everyone was miserable at school. Hanna, all her friends and caleb groggily met up at the usual place only thing different was Hanna and Caleb got looks from them being together out in the open. Hanna sat on Caleb's lap while talking and laughing to their friends. Except spencer of course, since they are mad at eachother.

Everyone gave them questioning and nosey looks. But they didn't care. they were happy.

During lunch Hanna and Caleb were on the way to walk to lunch. Her hand comfortably in his they talked about anything and everything.

"Yeah and then he got sent out of class and it was just crazy." Hanna said in disbelief as she recalled the story.

"Damn, did Someone record it?" Caleb said questioningly wanting to see the fight Hanna just told him about.

"Yeah they usually send everyone a mass text in the school so you'll get a few different angles eventually." Hanna snorted as they walk by the office. As Caleb started to tell Hanna something about phones something familiarly red caught Hanna's eye.

The blonde stopped in her tracks and saw her mom. Caleb looked confused till he saw Hanna's mom.

"Mom what are you doing here?" Hanna asked walking up to her mother that was sighing something in a seat next to Ella, who was arias mom. Caleb reluctantly followed his blonde girlfriend to her mother.

"Well ms.Montgomery called about needing volunteers for the anti bullying sleep over you guys are having , so I decided to sign up." Ashley informed Hanna with a smile.

"Oh. I don't wanna go to that I rather sleep in a barn." Hanna shrugged not wanting to go sleep in a school with people she barely tolerated.

Caleb snorted next to her and Hanna punched his arm playfully and started to laugh.

Hanna saw Ashley looking at Caleb before blinking. "I won't make you go don't worry, and hi Caleb. New hat?" Ashley said with a polite smile referring to his beanie that looked like the exact one she found in in the basement.

"Hi miss.Marin. And um no, I've had it for nearly 7 years." Caleb answered rubbing the back of his neck.

Ashley nodded with her eyes furrowed her clearly thinking about something.

Ashley got a call from Ella asking for her to volunteer for a school event. So after agreeing to help, Ashley left during her hour lunch to go down to the school.

"Hey Ashley how are you doing?" Ella asked as she saw Hanna's mother enter the office.

"I'm good just the same old." Ashley said shrugging as she sat down.

"Oh I get you. And by the way you are a life saver! A lot of our staff had to call out." Ella said handing her a form to fill out with a clip board and pen.

"I could imagine. I'd probably call off too if I was a teacher." Ashley joked as she began filling the paperwork out.

"I would but I want to avoid going home." Ella said sitting next to Ashley.

"Yeah I'm sorry about all that chaos. I know it must be tough on the kids." Ashley said sympathetically. Bryon, Ella's husband was cheating on her with a old college student of his. Ashley could somewhat relate. She was cheated on by Hanna's father after all.

"Not good. Mike has been so distant lately. And aria... I don't know she's been avoiding us both." Ella said with a frown.

"It will get better. They'll adjust while you and Byron work things out." Ashley said to Ella.

Before the teacher could reply a voice interrupted their talk. "Mom what are you doing here?" Ashley turned around to see Hanna walking up with Caleb behind her.

"Well ms.Montgomery called about needing volunteers for the anti bullying sleep over you guys are having , so I decided to sign up." Ashley informed Hanna with a smile.

"Oh. I don't wanna go to that I rather sleep in a barn." Hanna shrugged with a look of disgust on her face that made Ashley herself chuckle.

Caleb snorted next to Hanna which the blonde punched his arm playfully and started to laugh.

That's when Ashley saw it. His beanie. It looked familiar. "I won't make you go don't worry worry, and hi Caleb. New hat?" Ashley said with a polite but smile.

"Hi miss.Marin. And um no, had it for nearly 7 years." Caleb answered rubbing the back of his neck.

Ashley nodded with her eyes furrowed her clearly thinking about something.

Hanna's phone ringed and she looked at it before putting it in her pocket. "It's Emily we need to go to our tables. Bye mom, bye miss.Montgomery." Hanna said pulling Caleb's arm. Caleb looked back and gave a wave back and Ashley weakly waved back.

"Are you okay Ashley? You look upset." Ella asked seeing Ashley's face.

"Yeah I just forgot something at work. Let me finish this paper work." Ashley lied with a smile.
