A new day began and by morning everyone was ready to try and figure out what the next step would be.

"Good morning Doug."

Ben wished his friend with whom he shared a room.

"Hi Ben, what's up?"

He asked, noticing that he was more distracted than usual.

"I'm fine, it's just...nothing, forget it, let's go down and see the girls."

The two of them walked down to where everyone was waiting for them.

"Hi to you."

Mal said hello to them both and kissed her husband.

"How did that little man sleep?"

Doug asked his wife, picking up their son.

"Very well, I think he likes magic dust."

She replied, but unfortunately Evie wasn't happy about the whole situation.

"Did you sleep well?"

She wanted to say, "No, I didn't have a good night, because I wanted to be in my bed, in my house, not hiding from a wicked witch."

"Yes, I slept very well."

After having her son, Evie cherished her quiet, peaceful life with her family more than ever. She had a routine that had simply disappeared. After so many years stuck on the island, feeling like that again was like being sixteen again, with the addition of a child. It might be selfish to feel this way, especially in the face of everyone's suffering, but she couldn't help thinking about it.

"I hope you like the fairy food."

A fairy said and served them their typical food.

"After that, shall we get together and make a plan?"

Jay asked his friends. He too urgently wanted to go home.

"I think so, I just need to leave Tommy with someone."

"My parents will look after him."

Ben replied.

Where they were having their breakfast, there was a big screen that seemed to be talking about the fairy world. However, almost out of nowhere, a warning went off and a sound echoed at a very loud voice: "Warning about the human world! Warning about the human world" and suddenly everyone looked at the screen, including the descendants.

Auradon, the Land of Dreams, now had to be locked up and forbidden to anyone. After Agatha's triumphant arrival in the kingdom, which led to a fierce storm, things were still destroyed, there were trees lying on the ground, houses that had been destroyed, people injured and looking for news of others. In short, there was a scene of war.

People had been looking for Ben for two days and there had been no news of him or anyone from the royal family. There were rumors that he was among the victims and some crazy people who said he had married Mal and disappeared with her.

Last night, at Agatha's behest, Chad gathered all the Castle servants together and made the following speech:

"From today onwards, her royal highness Agatha Darkness is in charge of the castle and all of Auradon."

Chad said with all his arrogance and arrogance

"But what about King Ben and Lady Mal? We serve them."

Cogsworth asked and suddenly there were feet off the ground and an attempt at hanging.

"As of today, I am the new mistress and you serve me."

Agatha almost killed the man, but for her the most important thing was to pass on the message.

Later, the press and residents of Auradon gathered in front of the castle.

"United States of Auradon, from today onwards I am your ruler, your former king Benjamin and all the royalty have fled. A new era begins for you..."

(...)

Pixie Hollow

That news echoed in the king's ears and he lost his footing, his thoughts seeming to explode inside him. His parents and Mal were calling him, but he simply couldn't hear them.

"The queen calls Mal, Jay, Carlos, Evie, Helena and Rashid to her office now."

"Can I meet her later?"

Mal asked, because her concern for her husband was greater, Ben was frozen and kept his eyes fixed on the same spot. Mal couldn't help worrying about him, which was to be expected from this relationship of years

"You can go, I'll be fine."

Ben finally spoke and kissed her hand, which was on his shoulder, reassuring her.

"Okay."

She gave him a quick kiss and went on.

"Go on."

They followed the fairy into the great hall.

"Good morning, did you enjoy breakfast?"

Clarion asked.

"I prefer pancakes." Carlos answered without thinking, earning a poke from his friend next to him. "But the food here is wonderful, Your Majesty."

"I summoned you here to find out what you're going to do, I believe you already know that Agatha has taken Auradon."

"Yes, we know."

"Then I'll lend you the room to discuss and see what you're going to do, good luck.

The woman left, giving them room to discuss.

"Rashid, what do we know about Agatha?"

Mal asked, taking his place as leader.

"She's a witch descended from a family of very powerful witches. Her magic is magnificent, she can be overloaded, but I don't think she's 100% yet."

"Why?"

"The spell we cast on her before she died was very powerful and she has literally just come back to life, for a witch like Agatha powers don't come back easily."

Helena replied.

"How long would it take for her to have all her magic back?"

Carlos asked.

"It can be variable, if she doesn't use her magic too much, two weeks at most, but if not we have a few days."

Fairy Godmother said fearfully.

"But what about the book?"

Rashid asked.

"What book?"

One of the descendants asked.

"Agatha has a book with every kind of spell you can imagine, including the one she wants to cast on Auradon."

"But Mal's is still in the museum."

Evie winced at the possibility.

"Maleficent's book is only a chapter away from that one. However, Agatha must be looking for her hut right now."

"And where is it?"

"Hidden, before Marlin died he cast an invisibility spell so she wouldn't find it, but it's only a matter of time before that happens."

"What spell does she want to cast on Auradon?" Mal asked, as it seemed everyone had forgotten that detail. Rashid and Helena looked at each other, afraid to say what it was. "Speak up!"

"Agatha wants to put an end to the happy endings anyway, so she'll have to work a lot of magic and spells."

"Speak our language."

Jay asked.

"Let me explain Helena. All fairy tales involve magic. So, the first step would be to put an end to it, and then we'd think that she'd want to do some kind of spell that would basically drive couples apart."

"How?"

Evie asked incredulously.

"That magic doesn't exist, so she'd have to invent it, make up a new spell. We have no idea what it would look like, but it would be her revenge, separating all the 'true loves'."

"And what would that cause?"

"Apart from general unhappiness? We don't know."

Helena replied apprehensively.

"Mal? Mal? Are you still there?

Carlos tried to wake up his friend, who seemed to be in another world.

Mal seemed to have left the earth and come back. She didn't know how to react if she lost Ben. Of the four, he was perhaps the only person who really stopped and thought about what that spell meant.

"What are we going to do?"

She asked, wanting a quick solution.

"There's a reason we fear her so much.

Rashid replied ironically.

"You said it would take two weeks for her magic to be restored, so let's use that time."

"There is a way, but it's risky and almost impossible and it would only solve one of the problems."

Rashid reminded.

"Which one?"

"A magician's apprentice."

"Impossible, Rashid."

Helena laughed at him.

"Hello! There are people who don't have three hundred years of magic."

Carlos replied.

"A Magic Apprentice would be someone who has magic and learns very, very, very powerful magic from four other masters."

"Who are they?"

Evie felt like leaving the place.

"Merlin, the fairy in Neverland, the White Queen in Wonderland and the Genie."

"But we'd still have to find the person."

Helena recalled

"The daughter of Maleficent maybe."

Rashid thought.

"What?"

Mal and the Fairy Godmother asked at the same time.

"Isn't it dangerous?"

Evie feared for her friend.

"Mal, if you'd allow it, we could resize your magic again and see if it's possible."

"You haven't answered whether it's dangerous or not?"

Before either of them could answer, Mal spoke up.

"If I can be, I will."

"M, wait, if it is..."

"No E, I'll try, if I can."

Interrupted her worried friend.

"Okay, I'll see if Clarion has a resizer with her."

"Alright, let's meet up later."
