Applecider is a great apypos and Connor's pet. She has gold, blue, and black skin and blood red eyes.
While in the Monster Hunter universe, the team comes across a fighting arena created by hunters. They infiltrate the arena by putting their own rescued beasts into the fights. They all only pretend to fight each other to give the others time to rescue the trapped beasts. Connor rescues Applecider and she's grateful.
Applecider is very cocky and rambunctious. She can display a bit of an attitude at times, reflecting her shared humorous attitude with Connor. She isn't easily intimidated, and her daring bravado can get her into trouble at times. She is also not above using violence to reach an end unlike Connor, but will usually refrain when told to do so. Applecider is very protective of her master, even defending him from animals larger than her.
She has a throat sac that stores mud of which she can upchuck at opposition. And much like Poisondog, she also has an extra breath attack, but replaces the more concentrated poison cloud with a larger mud shot.
