Chapter 37

Aya falls onto the floor after being shot by Gabi, Eren quickly hugs his body and says, "Aya... hang in there..."

Aya is breathing heavily and says, "Eren... please... the Rumbling..."

With Aya lying weakly, Eren screams and the giant light surrounds all the royal families. The walls start to crumble to the ground, bringing those who are on the walls to their doom, and all of the Colossal Titans emerge with their eyes starting to open. Then Reiner, Pieck, and Falco gasp as they feel electricity hitting their bodies, feeling that their Titan powers are slipping away and they are also turning back to humans. Floch, Jane, and Louise are also glowing as they feel like they're gaining the powers of the Titans.

Then the pure Titans finished eating all the Marley soldiers, and they returned to normal with surprise and shock, and then 11/12 of the Colossal Titans standing where the wall is located turn into other Titan forms.

It is then Levi and the other scouts arrive, noticing Aya on the floor, Levi rushes to her and gasps, "Aya!"

Eren also uses his final power to heal Aya, and Aya is now lying on the floor trying to recover her health. Jean asks, "Hey...what is going on here?"

"He did it! Eren did it!" Peter says. "We won! The rumbling has begun!"

Gloria takes out the speaker and says, "To all troops of Hizuru! You can begin the operation!"

The speaker replies, "Roger that." with multiple voices. Aya slowly wakes up and says, "That was really painful..."

"Aya, are you alright now? You were shot by Gabi through the stomach..." Eren asks.

"Considering the fact that I gained the power of 12 Titans, I can also do the Titan healing..." Aya says. "So how is the Rumbling?"

"The Titans are ready, and under our command, we can do the full Rumbling." Eren says.

"The Titans are not moving... what's going on?" Connie asks.

The others look at the Titans, noticing that the Titans are still standing at the spot. Eren says, "I will explain about that."

Then he roars and everyone is now in the paths, Eren says, "HEAR ME! SUBJECTS OF YMIR! MY NAME IS EREN YEAGER. I'M USING THE FOUNDING TITAN'S POWERS TO ADDRESS ALL SUBJECTS OF YMIR. I'VE UNDONE THE HARDENING OF PARADIS ISLAND'S WALLS AND THE TITANS BURIED WITHIN HAVE BEGUN THEIR MARCH.

MY GOAL IS TO PROTECT THE PEOPLE OF PARADIS ISLAND - THE PLACE I WAS BORN. HOWEVER, THE WORLD WANTS TO EXTERMINATE MY PEOPLE. THEY HAVE BEEN DOING THIS SINCE 2000 YEARS AGO. CHILDREN ON MY ISLAND ARE SHIVERING IN FEAR BECAUSE THE TITANS ARE GOING TO EAT THEM, SOLDIERS TRYING TO FIGHT THEM ARE KILLED BRUTALLY, AND THE ONLY THING THAT KEPT US FROM THE MONSTERS THAT YOU ALSO TERRIFIED ARE THE WALLS, BUT YOU ALSO DECIDE TO DESTROY IT AND LETTING THE TITANS IN, IT TAKES US A HUNDRED OF YEARS TO FINALLY GET RID OF THEM.

THE NEUMANN FAMILY HAS BEEN SUFFERING TO BRING PEACE TO YOUR WORLD, MY WIFE AYA NEUMANN HAS SUFFERED BECAUSE OF YOU! THE WORLD WANTS TO EXTERMINATE MY PEOPLE - AND NOT JUST ON THE ISLAND. THEY WILL NOT STOP UNTIL EVERY LAST SUBJECT OF YMIR IS DEAD. I REFUSE TO LE THEM! UNDER THE COMMAND OF THE 12 ROYAL TITANS, THE WALL TITANS WILL TRAMPLE EVERY INCH OF THE WORLD BEYOND THE ISLAND. WHEN THAT HAPPENED, PREPARE TO BE WIPED OUT BY THE RAGE OF THE PEOPLE FROM PARADIS.

And just then, all of the Eldians are now back in the real world, and they are panicking. "What was that strange place?" "Are you alright, Mr. Leonhart?"

Annie's father is kneeling on the ground and says, "Yeah... Did you hear that? The Titans are leaving that island to come kill us."

With the Titans marching to the shore, Reiner and Gabi are walking until Reiner kneels to the ground. Gabi says, "Reiner!"

"I couldn't stop it... Eren and Aya... will destroy the world." Reiner mutters. Once they manage to escape the Yeagerists by hiding inside one house, he says, "Gabi, in the south, there are escape airships. Go find Pieck or our soldiers... and escape. You have to hurry... and tell Marley. No, the world."

"What will tell them do? Where's there to run?" Gabi asks. "My Mom, Dad, Aunt Karina... Won't everyone die? We have to stop the Rumbling!"

"It's impossible. The Founding Titan can control all Titans and Subjects of Ymir... however, it sees fit. No one can stop him now, all we can do is to run away..." Reiner says.

"I'm not giving up!" Gabi says as she ties her hair, "Wait for me, Falco..."

Back with Eren and the others, Erwin says, "The Titans are marching towards the shore. Once they all get there, we'll start with the Rumbling."

Petra says, "If those people are gone, so will all the hatred they have. All the enemies that ever threatened our existence will be smushed to death."

Gloria says, "The thing people beyond the ocean feared the most has happened. Because they refused to negotiate with us, all because they labeled us devils and tried to slaughter us."

"In other words, this is something that they brought upon themselves." Sasha says.

Hange says, "But... this... this is too far. This is an unprecedented level of genocide."

"It's not genocide when they haven't killed everyone in sight yet." Peter says. "All we do is bring them to the shores of our island."

Odom says, "If we want the Anti-Marleyan Volunteers to be on our side, we have to do something that's beneficial for them. The Hizuru and Azumabitos are now sending their flying boats to all the nations, they will bring the innocents to safety until the guilty are the only ones left."

Aya slowly stands up and Eren asks, "Aya... just take it slowly..."

Then Aya notices Falco, who is still unconscious while tied up. She asks, "So what are we going to do with him?"

"Falco is a good boy, I was sad things had to turn this way. I think we should just leave him here." Eren says.

Jane and Falco then untie Falco, as we hear the footsteps of the Military Police and the Garrison. "All of them turned back into humans?" Jean asks.

"That means all the Marley soldiers either retreated or were killed." Eren says. "However, the military command is broken and now we're going to form a new military."

Then we manage to get to the building where the Anti-Marleyan Volunteers are located. I say, "The Marleyan soldiers are nearly wiped out. And the pure Titans are returned back to humans. As for the Wall Titans, they will be marching towards the shore and stop there."

Onyankopon says, "Thank you for telling us. We're glad there's still some hope for our homelands."

"Surrendering and forgetting the hatred will be the best option, however, people like us are not easy to change their beliefs." Aya says. "That's why the Wall Titans are going to be our army, not only they will trample the lands when the time is right, but we will also join in the front lines beside them. That's why we need as much help as we can to separate the innocents and the guilty."

As for Peter, Mikasa, Sasha, and Odom, the four of them are meeting Sasha's family, and much to their surprise, they see Gabi with them.

"What is she doing here?" Peter asks in surprise.

"Please believe me. I don't want to fight anymore. I just want you to give Falco back." Gabi says. "I promise we will be gone after that!"

"We never take Falco." Mikasa replies. "He's still lying at the same spot where he ate the Jaw Titan. Unless he managed to wake up and run away on his own."

Then Gabi kneels and says, "I'm... sorry... but do Eren and Aya really have to kill everyone outside of the island? They don't have to do that, right? Can't they just attack all military facilities in the world?"

Odom says, "You dare say something like that? You shot Aya and if it wasn't for the fact she has 12 Titan powers in her, she would've been dead! Erich and Carla will lose their mother!"

Peter says, "The Rumbling is the decision made by the queen, the royal blood, and the people of this island. If we just do that, in the end, the island will still be doomed because as long as there are still people who exist, they can rebuild the military facilities and doom our island. We're not taking chances for that to happen."

"But you already have the power of 12 Titans and the Neumann blood! Nobody will dare to attack with that strong power! Reiner's powers were taken and now he's heavily injured and can't move!" Gabi begs.

"That's the funniest thing we've ever heard." Odom says, not trying to show any mercy for the girl. "Why would Eldians slaughtered three times the people in this year for two thousand years ago? That's because the nations are attacking even when Eldia is having that strong power! Only that they lose all the time until that day Karl Fritz decides to give up everything and give them to Marley!"

"No good deed goes unpunished... I say." Mikasa says.

Sasha says, "Guys. That's enough, in the end, she's still a young girl who knows nothing about us." She turns to Gabi and says, "I still hate you for trying to kill me and Aya, but we're not going to kill you. We already tell you where Falco is, so get him and try to escape."

Gabi can only cry before running off, and Peter says, "Damn..."

Back at the capitals, Hitch and the others are saving the innocents who are crushed under the rubbles caused by the walls crumbling down. Eren and the others are there as Eren is using his medical skills to heal some people.

"It...it's your fault...! My house..." An Elderly woman tries to spit at him, but Eren doesn't seem to be fazed, he can only say, "I am sorry... The least I can do is let me heal your injuries. The house can be built again..."

"It's a small sacrifice to pay!" "His son was killed! The wall falling killed lots of people!" "No, it's Eren Yeager who killed them!" "That's right. Eren Yeager killed his own people. But if he hadn't woken the Wall Titans, the world would come to slaughter us all!" "Yeah! The Eldian Empire will survive by their sacrifice!" "Victory is ours!" "You can't win without a sacrifice, but it was worth it!"

Eren finishes healing the elderly woman, and Hitch takes over, he walks to the angry mob and says, "Are you the ones whose children were killed by the falling rubble?"

The people flinch as Eren says, "I am really sorry about your loss. Shiganshina is under Marley's attack, we didn't have time to wait for the people near the walls to leave."

"Eren..." Aya is by Eren's side as she can only frown. The people who lose their children are also speechless as he doesn't know what to say when Eren Yeager himself apologizes to them.

"Eren, it's time to go." Floch says while walking towards him.

Eren nods and then they leave, but before they can leave, Eren is grabbed by someone, which startles the others.

"Eren!" Aya tries to rush at him, but the voice yells, "Don't move! I'll cut his throat."

Eren's eyes glow as he gets out of the situation. He says, "Good grief, so you're finally going to wake yourself up, Annie Leonhart?"

"You bastard... how dare you..." Annie yells as she tries to use her ring, but Eren says, "Did you seriously forget that your Titan power is already taken by the person who was about to become your victim?"

Gloria asks, "So what are we going to do with her?"

"Call Hitch and tell her to bring Annie to Reiner and those traitors." Eren says, and one of the soldiers rushes to do what Eren wants. Annie tries to use combat on Eren, but Eren manages to grab her fist before tossing her to the ground, causing her pain.

"We gave you a chance, but you decided to ruin it by sleeping in the dungeon for four years." Aya says before they leave her alone and head to the Reiss Farm.

Here is a new chapter, and as you can see, the Rumbling is going to be different in this story and wait and see how will it go. I hope you like this chapter.
