Blink is a naracuga and Wheel's pet. He has white and red fur and red eyes.
Blink is born as the half-brother of Shadowpounce, Greenswift, Fiercewater, Starwing, and Silverwind. His father was the dominant male in their group and mated with several female of different species of their kind. Blink and 5 of his half siblings flew off on their own when they were raided by hunters. While in the Monster Hunter universe, the team comes across a fighting arena created by hunters. They infiltrate the arena by putting their own rescued beasts into the fights. They all only pretend to fight each other to give the others time to rescue the trapped beasts. Wheels rescues Blink and he's grateful.
Equally protective and loyal, Blink never hesitates to risk his own life when Wheels is put in danger and is more than affectionate when the time calls for it. His sense of devotion also shows itself when protecting Wheel's allies and other friends. Wheels has shown to have a bit more of Wheel's personality when battling Azimuth, seeing the fear in the lombax's eyes, as he sensed they were protecting something precious to them, their family. Blink knows Wheels is disabled and always stays near him. Despite appearing to be the youngest and most dimwitted of his siblings, Blink is the most violent.
Blink is very similar to regular Shadowpounce when it comes to movements during battle, but with added effects to increase his lethality. For example, the teleportation attack is increased both in its radius and its damage. Another move that has been enhanced is one in which he will shoot out spikes that will rain down from the sky shortly afterward being fired. Instead of a small patches, a whole field of these poisonous spikes will come down covering a huge area. However, his most prominent change is to create blades of wind that will suck in foes like a vacuum before shredding them.
