Sandfrost is a mix between a sand and frost barioth and is Penny's pet. The left side of his body is orange, face is red, and eye is yellow. The right side of his body is white, neck is purple, and eye is light blue.
While in the Monster Hunter universe, the team comes across a fighting arena created by hunters. They infiltrate the arena by putting their own rescued beasts into the fights. They all only pretend to fight each other to give the others time to rescue the trapped beasts. Penny rescues Sandfrost and he's grateful.
Sandfrost is a brave, noble barioth. He is also very persistent, and not afraid to fight if it means fighting for the sake of his home. He allows Penny to ride him and even shows her some of his powers. He also believes in defending and helping the others even outside of his world as he is also persistant in keeping his fellow teammates safe from harm.
Sandfrost is capable of creating a large dust devil, which he can use to hurtle himself at enemies. He can also create both a large chunk of ice crystal and a large icy tornado larger than that of normal Barioth, and will also leave a patch of snow that can inflict poison and snowman onto an enemy who comes into contact with.
