Heart to Heart

Chapter 57 Morning After

-Atlas Academy-

Oscar grunted as he felt something pressing up against him. In fact, his face feel like it was squished against something. They were warm and soft whatever they were, was found he was on his side as his free hand was feeling around. Wait, what's this?

He gave it a small squeeze feeling something soft as moan that did not come from him made him freeze up.

'Oh no,' he swallowed as his brain was starting to gear back up to fully awake. Was this a person? He felt arms around his head and pulled back just enough to notice his face was pressed into Ruby, and not just Ruby but her chest. Apparently, he just found out that Ruby was a cuddler and had been holding him close in her sleep.

His face was bright red as his heart was hammering because not only was he this close to Ruby, but his face had been, well had been buried in her cleavage.

'Wait, so my hand? Is that her?' He gently pulled his hand away from her rear as he felt like he was close to passing out. If anyone saw them, what would they think? What would Ruby think? He didn't want her to hate him, but he had no idea what to do! It was a total accident he swore…not matter how good if felt.

'How did this happen?' He thought back to last night getting back from the party.

-Flashback to last night-

"Well, that was a night," Yang stretched out as they made it back to their level.

"I think I'll take a nice long bath before bed," Weiss stated.

"I could use a shower," Blake nodded. "At least nothing really happened."

"I'm just glad it's over," Ruby groaned as she landed on the couch in the common room with her ful body weight. "My feet are killing me."

"You're just not used to wearing high heels," Yang told her.

"They suck!" Ruby threw her hands up quickly pulling off the offending shoes sighing in relief to finally let them breath.

"Hey!" Both Weiss and Blake who wore high heels all the time said at once.

"I regret nothing!" She pointed at them before going limp. "I don't think I can walk."

"Well, you're too big to carry off to bed," Yang said taking Jaune's arm in hers. "Besides we're turning in, goodnight, everyone."

Weiss and Blake said their own goodnights leaving Oscar and Ruby alone. Oscar cleared his throat, "You know I could help."

"You can?" Ruby's face lit up in hope.

The former farm boy nodded as he sat down next to her. "Yeah, see my aunt works the field a lot so she her feet get really aching at times. Want me to show you some lessons she gave me?"

Ruby swung herself around to plant her feet on his laps. "You learned a lot from her huh?"

"Well, she raised me," Oscar went to work as his hands massaged her feet. Ruby's face winced at times when he found a knot, but he was being gentle. "I was pretty young when I lost my parents so she did the best she could to raise me like her own."

"Yeah, I was pretty young when I lost my mom too," Ruby said quietly. She winced again and was about to tell him that was painful when the pain went away only to be replaced by a sweat release. She moaned as she relaxed.

"Better?"

"Much," she moaned she never knew having someone touch her feet could feel so good. Then again Jaune had done the way with Yang, and she seemed to enjoy it, Ruby was starting to see why her sister liked Jaune rubbing her feet.

"I really hate high heels, they're always hard to walk in and hurt my feet." She complained.

"I'll be sure to take you somewhere next time where you don't have to wear them," he said offhandedly as he was so focused on her feet. He had to admit they were kind of cute feet, something he never thought he would think but they were.

"Right…next time," she said nervously.

Oscar looked at her and blushed, "That is, I mean if you want to?"

"Of course, yes, I mean, yeah I'll want to," Ruby hated how awkward she got in moments like this. Why couldn't she come off as cool as Yang did when she was with Jaune?

There was a quiet moment between them as he continued on with his work. Ruby winced as he hit a tender spot but as we went to work it soon turned into a type of blissful release as she sighed. "Okay you really do know what you're doing."

"Told ya," He finished with one foot and then went to work on the other. Ruby hated high heels but having Oscar work his magic on her feet made up for it. She wishes he had been there on the trip from Patch. All those weeks of walking and walking, some nights she had been dead on her feet and she would have killed to have some relief like this back then.

"You know, for a huntress you really have delicate looking feet." He smiled.

"What's that supposed to mean?" She crossed her arms buffing out her cheeks.

"Just expecting them to be more rugged looking," true the bottoms of her feet were rough from yeas of training and all the traveling she did but the tops not so much. "In fact, I think I found your greatest weakness?"

"Oh? What's that?"

"This," and he drew a line with his finger at her feet making her squeal and jump at how ticklish that had been.

"Hey! No fair!" She laughed trying to get away as he kept on tickling her feet. Eventually she managed to pull her feet away from him as she got them under her and stared. Oscar felt like suddenly she was on the hunt, which wasn't far off as she bounced on him sending them both onto the couch with her on top of him.

"There, now I'm the one that has you."

"So now that you got me, now what?"

Ruby paused as she hadn't thought that far ahead. She looked into those hazel eyes with the soft green on the outside but almost golden ring in the center. She felt herself blush slightly at how close they were. It was strange how suddenly it seemed after seventeen years she could start to have feelings like this. The way her heart would beat faster with him, how his words seemed to touch her in ways she hadn't felt before now.

"Well…I can think of something," She leaned in to kiss him as he replied. It was gentle at first, light pecks that later turned into longer and longer kisses. She reached up to run a hand through his thick hair as she felt his hands at her waist. Soon one of them trailing up her back as she moaned into his mouth.

Who knew kissing could be so much fun?

She felt his tongue licking her lips as she opened her mouth as hers went out to meet him making both moan as they enjoyed the moment.

Ruby broke it off panting for breath as Oscar was the same. She looked down at the cute and charming young man and she felt connected to him. She reached up to caress his cheek.

"I wish this could last forever," Oscar breathed out.

She smiled and nodded. "So do I."

Then his face feel slightly knowing that it couldn't last, more danger was coming and who knew when Ozpin would make his return. Ruby saw this and gently made him look at her. "Hey, whatever the future holds, whatever time we have together, I want to make the most of it. This, this whole thing has been amazing, I've never felt like this before now and I don't want to miss a moment of it."

Her hand went from his face to a matching hand of his as they interlocked fingers. "No matter what, we enjoy what time we have."

She knew that things happened, they did with her mom and her dad. They had only been married a few years before she had died on that mission. There was no telling what could happen in the future but Ruby knew from first hand experience that the time people shared was limited. Her time with her mom, with Pyrrha, and now with Oscar she wanted to enjoy every second.

"Yeah, I like that." He replied.

-Present-

'We must have fallen asleep,' Oscar thought but then he was right back to his problem. How did they end up in this position and how to get himself out without waking her up?

What Oscar didn't know was that Ruby was up, she had been up a few minutes before Oscar frozen in place wondering what to do. She had woken up thinking she had been in her bed holding the teddy bear, but the bed felt wrong and the bear too big. When she looked to see herself holding Oscar into her chest had a moment of panic.

'Oh god, oh god, what do I do? Why did I pull him in like that?' She nearly moaned when his head shifted in his sleep. 'Oh god why does this feel so nice? Okay maybe I can pull away? No wait my back is to the couch, I can't move away! Okay then, well maybe…come on stupid brain think!'

She was so preoccupied she didn't notice Oscar shifting or him waking up, she did notice when he accidentally groped her ass making her moan out in surprise. 'Oh, gods he touched me, wait was that on purpose or not? His hands moving away, oh no he woke up, didn't he?'

Now she was really starting to panic, what would he think of her if he found her pulling him into her like this? This was so embarrassing maybe if she pretended to turn in her sleep?

She didn't have any other ideas and she was hoping that Oscar would just slip out and they could both pretend this embarrassing moment never happened? It was worth a shot in her mind so she made a fake moan as she turned to her side.

Oscar saw his chance and slowly slipped out and off the couch. He signed as he looked down at her and gulped. She was in a slightly suggestive position in her dress, even in the early morning she looked pretty to him. He wished he could burn this image into his mind but first he guess maybe he should wake her up? Everyone else would be getting up soon and it wouldn't do for everyone to see her on the couch.

He gently shook her awake. "Ruby it's time to get up?"

"Hmmm?" She tried to fake waking up. "What time is it?"

"Nearly morning, we fell asleep on the couch." He scratched the back of his head.

"Oh!" She sat up quickly. "Yeah, I guess we should get up."

"Yeah, not sure what the others would say seeing us on the couch in the morning together."

"I know what Yang would do," Ruby muttered thankful Yang hadn't caught them. She would never hear the end of it. She loved her sister but her teasing she could live without.

"Do you, want me to walk you back to your room?" Oscar scratched his cheek.

"Y-yeah I would like that," she gave him her hand as he helped her off the couch and didn't let go. It wasn't a far walk but they intertwined their hands on the way there. Both weren't sure of what to say so they just were silent but enjoying the feeling of each other's company.

Both were trying and failing to put behind them how they woke up. Oscar couldn't believe he had not only a beautiful girlfriend, but he had actually felt her boobs in his face and felt her ass. Granted it was a total accident, yet both felt amazing. He was starting to wonder how long before she let him do it for real? He quickly pushed those thoughts down, stupid young teenage hormones were not fun.

Ruby couldn't forget the warmth of him against her chest or how his hand felt when he had squeezed her. She was starting to wonder back when they were kissing last night what it would feel like if she had reached under his shirt to caress his bare chest.

'No Ruby! Bad! Bad thoughts!' She put those thoughts back into whatever dark corner of her mind they came from.

Thankfully she was at the dorm room door. "So, this is me, thanks for last night it was fun."

"It was with you," Oscar stated. "Maybe next time we can go somewhere we both would rather like."

"I'd like that," She paused as she leaned in to kiss him slightly on the lips. "Until next time?"

"Y-yeah, next time," He flushed red as she opened the door and closed it behind her.

Both teens sighed in unison as both felt like they needed a shower, perhaps a slightly cold shower.

-Schnee Mansion-

Elsewhere a certain white-haired mother was slowly waking up in her lavish bed. Willow moaned as she wrapped her arms around a pillow and pulled it close. She felt the familiar pounding of a headache from too much drinking yet again. Only this time it wasn't as bad as it normally was, sometimes it was so bad she didn't get out of the bed until noon.

But as her hungover mind started to slowly process things, she realized a few things. First, she was naked, odd sure but nothing to panic over. Then she felt the familiar aches and pains that came with sex, that was a bit more worrying. When she realized that there was a male arm wrapped around her and a naked body pressed up against her that's when her mind started to fully function again.

She gasped and bolted up and pulled the sheet over herself. Looking down at the waking man she started to remember last night.

'God how drunk was I to take a stranger to bed? If he finds out, he'll…' to be honest she wasn't sure what her husband would do. He would either be mad for obvious reasons, or he wouldn't care. Their marriage was a shame of a thing so it could go either way, but he did have a temper. Maybe it was best to be on the side of caution on this one.

"Morning," He stretched out. "So, I hope last night was as fun for you as it was for me."

"Fun!?" She couldn't believe how cavalier he was being about all of this.

"Well, you seemed to be enjoying yourself last night," He smirked at her as he got out the bed giving her a fully on view of himself. "I'm surprised you didn't wake up half the place with your screams, and I think you left some scratch marks somewhere?"

He looked around trying to find them.

She saw a few of them on his back among everything else he was showing her. Her face blushed as she looked away. "Don't you have any decency?"

"Nope," He said finding his pants. "But if it will make you feel any better. Don't see what the big deal is, we saw enough of each other last night didn't we?"

"I was drunk," she tried to defend her actions.

"Not that drunk, I would know," Qrow came over to the bed and sat down looking at her. "Pretty sure if you didn't want it to happen even if you were more drunk you wouldn't have. You looked like a lady that was starving for any kind of affection. Trust me, you can't find it in the bottom of a bottle."

"And how would you know?" She glared at him.

He only smiled back. "Because I've been there, spent most of my life trying to ease the pain with a bottle. Trust me, it doesn't really work, it's a stop gap at the best of times."

She looked into his eyes they were full of pain and regrets, the same eyes she saw in the mirror. She looked away as she felt his hand caressing her cheek.

"Look I'm not going to preach or something, I'm the last one to judge anyone on this, hell I only recently stopped drinking and it's been hard. Really hard, I keep wanting to dive back in but I keep myself from it because when I hit rock bottom, I hated what I became."

She was silent but she felt a bit more relaxed with how gentle he was being. That was something she lacked in her life, just a gentle touch now and then.

"I can't believe I cheated on my husband." She sighed.

"I got the story that it's not a happy marriage."

She snorted in disgust. "It hasn't been 'happy' for so long I wonder if it ever was, or I was just deluding myself." She was silent for a moment. "He's had affairs too, I've seen the strange women now and then, how he 'works late' at the office, how his secretaries always young and pretty keep getting replaced. He thinks that because he's discrete it's fine."

Qrow could hear the bitterness in her voice the pain and he really didn't like the man before, treating your wife like this. Well, he had a mind to go out and find him and sock him one. But he knew that would cause all kinds of problems so he could put that away. Just in case he could ever get away with it.

"Well, I don't mine being 'discrete' then," he moved closer to her making her look at him with wide eyes. "I really did enjoy myself last night and I know you did to, so how about we meet up for some more fun together?"

Willow's mind was a mess of confused thoughts, she knew it was morally wrong but her marriage was basically only on paper only by this point. There was no love in this marriage if there ever was any from the beginning. And the truth was she did have fun last night, she hadn't been touched by a man since shortly after her son had been born and she as human. She had needs, was she really considering this?

"I…I don't know," She wavered not sure what to do.

"How about I sweeten the pot?" he pulled her close for a kiss as she melted into it. She was just starting to kiss back when a knock at the door made them both jump.

Qrow mentally cursed his bad luck at the point.

"Y-yes?" Willow called out.

"My lady, are you decent? Breakfast will be served soon if you want it." One of her maid's voices called out.

"Just a moment," Willow looked at him and whispered. "You have to hide."

"Not until I get an answer."

"Are you seriously playing games now!?" She couldn't believe this as she looked at the door. If the maid saw him or his clothing word might get back to her husband.

"Maybe I should answer the door," Qrow got up with a smirk but stopped when a hand grabbed his arm.

"Fine! Fine just…just hide," Willow quickly got up and found a robe not caring if he saw like this. He was right, they both had seen plenty of each other last night. "Just get your clothing and hide, for the love of the gods."

"Already on it," Qrow knew what to do, it wouldn't be the first time he had to gather up clothing and make a quick exit. Thankfully the large glass doors to the balcony would be his exit point.

Willow had put her own clothing away as she reached the door when she heard the one to the balcony open. He wasn't seriously, was he? They were too high up to jump and there was no hiding there. She turned but he was just gone, there wasn't a trace of him and she couldn't see him on the small balcony.

"What?" She paused when she thought she heard a bird flying by.

"My lady?"

"Yes, coming." She glanced over her shouldering wondering where he went and how.

-Yang and Jaune's Room-

Jaune moaned as he felt something nice rubbing his chest as he opened his eyes. He saw the ceiling of the bunk above him and in the corner of his vision a bunch of golden hair.

"Morning Stud," Yang all but purred as she was cuddling close to him running her flesh and blood arm over him.

"Morning," He yawned. "I've been meaning to ask why you only sleep on that side of the bed."

"I want to feel you and I can't feel anything with my other arm," she replied simply.

Speaking of feeling after last night's fun and clean up they hadn't bothered to put anything else on so he could feel ALL of her. The way her leg was wrapped around his, he could feel her toned stomach and of course those impressive mounds on her chest pressing against him. Gods, what a way to wake up in the morning.

"I hope last night was fun for you," she leaned in and licked his ear lobe. "Because it was for me."

"Gods yes," Jaune moaned, she had been very active last night. Actually, lately she had been very 'affectionate', more so than when they first started out at this point in their relationship. He had been thinking about it and he was worried she was using sex as a way to make up for not being able to say the words she wanted to say.

"Hey Yang?"

"Hmmm?"

"As much as I love how things are going between us, and trust me, I have nothing to complain about," he took a breath. "Are you using sex to make something up to me?"

She paused as Yang stopped moving for a moment and sighed as she settled down. "I guess…I do like all the sex with you but…I felt like I had to do something to show you how I feel."

He gently took her good hand in his and kissed it. "Yang I know how you feel."

She buried her face into his shoulder. "But I want to say the words."

"Have you thought of why you can't?"

Yang was silent for a long moment she was debating on opening this up but maybe it was finally time to try. Their whole relationship had been built on them sharing each other's pains and insecurities. Pulling back now seemed like a disservice to the bed rock of their relationship.

"I guess if I say the words, I can't take them back and this becomes all real."

"It's not real?" He asked confused.

She turned around to lay her had on his shoulder and looked up at the steel surface above them. "I mean real-real, like oh hey maybe one day we'll get married and have kids or something kind of real."

"And that bothers you?"

"Not…exactly," she bit her lip trying to form words to her complex emotions. "I keep thinking I'll screw it up like my own biological mother did, that without meaning to I'll leave you and any kids we have alone and hurt you all like she did."

"Yang I keep telling you, you're nothing like her."

"I know!" She yelled out in frustration. "I'm ten times the mother she would be, but I keep having these stupid thoughts about everything! I never thought about having a family and kids one day. When I was in Beacon the only future, I saw was me traveling the world and having adventures."

Jaune thought about what she said. "Where you alone in this future?"

Yang thought about it, "Yeah, I think I was. Not even my sister was there, I was just going to go out and have fun and excitement. Maybe as the school year went on, I thought about my team being with me but that was pretty much it."

"That actually sounds similar to what I thought it would be like when I joined," Jaune smiled thinking back as a surprised Yang looked at him. "I always thought I would go out and be a hero, helping people, saving lives. I never thought of family back then either."

"Huh, always pegged you as a family guy to be honest," she shrugged.

"Maybe it comes from being from a large family then," she chuckled. "I never really thought about any of that stuff either, not until we started to date. I think it was after our first night together I really considered that I found The One, that one girl that I could see myself spending my entire life with."

She cuddled up to him as that did sound nice. "I've been starting to feeling the same and when I do I keep worrying about messing it up. I've seen what losing someone you love can do to a person, my dad went through it. I still remember times of him sitting on the couch not knowing someone was home and him just sadly looking at a picture of mom."

In this case it was Summer Rose who Yang thought of as a mother, that was the kind of mother she wanted to me. The kind that always seemed there for her kids and just full of love and happiness.

Jaune put his arm around her and pulled her close. "We have no idea when something like this could happen Yang. I don't know if this relationship will work out in the end, if it's only temporary or it will last us until we're both old sitting on a porch together."

Yang snorted. "I don't want to think about myself getting that old, my poor hair would look like Weiss' by then."

"The point is we don't know what can happen, but I will tell you what I do know." He turned to his side to look her in the eyes. "I know that Yang Xiao-Long is a beautiful woman who cares deeply about her friends and family. I know you will rather tear your other arm off than to hurt us, I know how you love your puns, your bikes and excitement. I know you still carry the scars of Beacon like we all do deep down, but you found the strength to push on and rise above it."

"I know that you are the woman that I feel in love with, not some crush like with Weiss or whatever I had with Pyrrha. You are the woman I feel in love with Yang, and I would love to spend the rest of my life with you proving it. Filling your heart with love and affection until the sun burns out."

He reached out to stroke her cheek as she just stared into his blue eyes. "I know that forever how long this relationship lasts I will always love you Yang. You've got a piece of my heart for the rest of my life, and I gladly give it to you. So, I know you won't do anything to harm me or anyone else, because I know deep down for you love is a sacred thing. Just like your love for your sister and father."

Yang felt tears starting to fall as he gently wiped them away, she felt like Jaune's words hit deep and a weight on her heart. She felt like something wanted to jump out but held back by chains. She did love him and hearing those words not being able to tell him hurt her so much more than she thought possible. She wanted to break her chains to burn them away with how she felt.

She had been held back by the specter of Raven and what she had done to her and her family. She wanted to be done with it, she wanted to be free damn it!

"Yang I know that-" she silenced him with a finger as she looked deep into his eyes. Those loving blue eyes she could get lost in. Those eyes filled with caring, compassion and love for her, for her and only her. She wanted those eyes to always look at her like this in those eyes maybe she could finally find the strength to break free.

"Jaune…I…I," Just say the words she mentally thought to herself it's not that hard just say the damn words! You want to say them to just say them. "I love you too Jaune."

She felt fresh tears falling as for the first time she felt a sense of freedom she never had before. Before he could say anything, she captured his lips in a passionate and yet loving kiss. She finally said it, she finally broke through whatever barrier that held her back. She had no idea what the future would hold for them but for the first time she wasn't paralyzed by fear.

She did hard worries about their future, would they live long enough to see old age with Salem? Would they get married one day or break up? Would they have kids or not? Would she be a good mother or not? She had no idea, the only thing she knew was that she wanted to try, she had to try.

She had to at least see where this path led and hope, hope that everything she wanted was down this path.
