Brutus is an abiorugu and Patchy's pet. He has green, beige, and orange scales and blue eyes.
While in the Monster Hunter universe, the team comes across a fighting arena created by hunters. They infiltrate the arena by putting their own rescued beasts into the fights. They all only pretend to fight each other to give the others time to rescue the trapped beasts. Patchy rescues Brutus and he's grateful.
Brutus is a loyal and loving friend towards his rider, Patchy. The two are an inseparable and deadly pair who care for one another deeply. Brutus also seems to be fond of Marie and Mary; possible as Patchy cares for them too, and they both seem to share affections for those the other chooses to trust. However, while he is loyal to Patchy, this doesn't mean he can't be convinced to help someone else if he feels that they are a friend and deserve to be helped.
He attacks with a combination of bites and tail-swings. He can slam his tail to the ground, dealing massive damage, and can also launch spikes from his tail. He utilizes a flaming breath attack as well. When enraged, tips of his back plates turn red.

Brutus gets his name from Patchy's favorite wrestler, Brutal Brutus.
Patchy states he likes Brutus is because he looks like a patchycephalosaurous.
