Hammerhead is a rhenoplos and Toro's pet. She has sandy colored skin brown and black frill and amber eyes.
While in the Monster Hunter universe, the team comes across a fighting arena created by hunters. They infiltrate the arena by putting their own rescued beasts into the fights. They all only pretend to fight each other to give the others time to rescue the trapped beasts. Toro rescues Hammerhead and she's grateful.
Hammerhead has a tendency to jump to conclusions before engaging in further thought. She also believes in quick and easy solutions. Hammerhead also appears to be rather territorial and aggressive, especially to those attempting to wake her sleeping master. She likes companionship, and loneliness does not suit her, a common trait in her species. Hammerhead is loyal to Toro and the Rangers and is always ready to help those in need. She is proud to be a member, and cares for all of her friends, though she is occasionally insensitive about their feelings.
She has very thick skin, a boulder-like tail, and can charge super fast at enemies.
