Kiri is a hybrid between an Oroshi kirin and a Thunder emporer kirin and Lupa's pet. She has purple, yellow, blue, and white fur and red eyes.
While in the Monster Hunter universe, the team comes across a fighting arena created by hunters. They infiltrate the arena by putting their own rescued beasts into the fights. They all only pretend to fight each other to give the others time to rescue the trapped beasts. Lupa rescues Kiri and she's grateful.
Kiri is described as an intellectual and brainy Kirin. She has been shown to be very alert, warning her team of the impending presence danger. She is often seen keeping a lookout for danger or seeking out specific targets, such as blarg and robots. She never hesitates to take to her heels and seek out animals in help and will sometimes act even before Lupa asks her to. Kiri is loyal to Lupa and rarely hesitates on orders. Kiri likes to feel like a valued member of the team.
She can summon ice shards to defend herself as well as stomping the ground to create shockwaves.
