Chapter 2: Foreplay
Rangiku looked at Nnoitra as she gasped seeing the others. Yoko ran up to Rangiku and smiled at her.
"Loves, come with me please. They can handle these guys." Yoko told them as she held onto their hands as Rangiku and Rukia stood up.
Rukia still had Izaya in her arms as Rangiku held onto Gremmy.
"Go. We'll handle these guys. Get your brother and his friend to safety." Tier said as she turned her back on them.
Rukia and Rangiku nodded as they followed Yoko out of the park. Bazz-B growled as he stomped his foot, causing a large fire to form.
"What the hell?! Who the hell are you, clowns?!" Bazz-B asked them as he gave them a death glare.
"We're the Espadas and the Arrancars. And we have heard so much bad news about you guys." Starrk said as he sighed, moving his hair out of his face.
"And so, just coming here to get them safely will make you fight us because?" NaNaNa tilted his head as he raised an eyebrow.
"Because you guys are actually hurting Izaya! I think it's time for you guys to get over yourselves and leave Izaya alone for once." Nel said as she had tears in her eyes.
The Sternritters looked at her as they looked at each other. Bazz-B saw someone coming out of hiding as he raised his eyebrow.
"Jugram! What the hell?! Did you guys call these guys here to kick our ass?" Bazz-B asked him as he walked up to Jugram.
"The human girl did, Bazz. I'm done doing this. I'm tired of fighting. Let's just go home. They're giving us an option anyways." Jugram said as he sighed.
Bazz-B growled as he slapped Jugram's face as Jugram fell down and held onto his cheek. Others saw as they cringed but stayed quiet, despite the fact that they're injured and bleeding.
"You rotten lying piece of shit! So now you want to betray us and be like the soul reapers?!" Bazz-B said as he kicked Jugram many times.
Nel gasped as she wanted to help but got stopped by Nnoitra as he shook his head. Nel stayed quiet as she cried. Jugram coughed up blood as Bazz-B repeatedly kicked him then stopped as he sighed.
"You are so fuckin' patheic, you know that? Tch. Now." Bazz-B turned around as he was stabbed in the chest by Nel's zanpakuto. Bazz-B looked at his chest and back at her as he growled.
"What the hell is this?! Guys help me out!" Bazz-B begged for help but his comrades all stepped back.
"Yo man, you're literally insane, we chose life. We're out of here. Peace." NaNaNa said as he gave Bazz-B a peace sign as he, Berenice, Mask, James, Cang Du, and Driscoll all left, following NaNaNa to get out of the park.
Bazz-B got really pissed as he unleashed his power. Causing an explosion to himself. Nel gasped as she stepped back, taking her zanpakuto out of Bazz-B's chest. They all ducked and covered their heads.
"He's going insane! He has to get out of here!" Tier said to everyone as she looked at the soul reapers.
Byakuya tried to crawl to them as he had weakness in his eyes. He then looked over at Renji who had been injured by Mask. Byakuya bit his lips as he tried to crawl to him. As Nodt and Jerome went to Bazz-B trying to stop him.
"Bazz-B! You gotta calm down! You're going to burn yourself into ash!" As Nodt said as he tried to stop Bazz-B but Bazz-B overpowered as it burned As Nodt.
"Ow! Fuck! Fuck! Bazz-B!" As Nodt tried again as Jerome tried to help him.
The Espadas and Arrancars got every soul reaper as Byakuya looked up. He saw Ichigo and Grimmjow running up to them.
"Guys here!" Ichigo made the gates open as they all looked at him.
"Ichigo, are we allowed to go in?" Tier asked him as she hesitated.
"Just go! I'll explain everything to the head captain." Ichigo called out to Tier as she nodded and they all headed inside the gates to the soul society.
Ichigo watched them go in as he turned around making sure there were no other soul reapers left.
"Sweets! We gotta stop this fool or else he'll set the whole park on fire!" Grimmjow called out to Ichigo.
Ichigo nodded as he tried to think of what to do. Then a small voice was heard as she huffed.
"Bankai. Hakka no Togame." Rukia's voice turned cold as everything went back to snow and ice and it froze Bazz-B into a frozen statue.
Ichigo and Grimmojw both looked up as Rukia landed down and huffed.
"Rukia! Whoa is this your bankai?" Ichigo asked his best friend as he smiled.
"It is. I can't hold it long, I need you guys to be ready to defeat them once they unfroze." Rukia told them as she turned around to face a frozen Bazz-B, Jerome, and As Nodt.
"Where's Izaya? We heard that he got ambush by these fuckers." Grimmjow asked as he growled.
"Squad four is at The Bambies house, healing him and Gremmy. Now get ready." Rukia said as her bankai began to slowly melt.
Izaya slowly opened his eyes as his vision was blurry, he groaned as he looked around. He saw Hanataro next to him as Hanataro gasped happily.
"Oh Izaya! You're awake, thank goodness." Hanataro said as he held onto Izaya's hand.
"Hanataro, where am I? No….where's Gremmy and my sister?" Izaya asked as he coughed a bit.
"Ah please don't talk so much, Izaya. Your surgery was a success but we just gave you some pain killers to stop your wound from opening up." Hanataro said to him as he smiled.
Izaya nodded as he looked back at the ceiling and had a tear in his eyes. "I'm sorry…." Izaya sniffled.
Hanataro frowned as he looked up, seeing Isane as she smiled.
"He's awake, Isane. Is Gremmy awake?" Hanataro asked her as he bowed.
"Yes. But he's extremely tired right now. We'll give them a few more hours or until Lieutenant Kucihiki is done fighting in the park." Isane told Hanataro as she smiled.
"Yes, Isane." Hanataro said as he smiled at her.
"Ah, so my sister is fighting….? That's good." Izaya said quietly as he slowly closed his eyes.
"Captain Unohana, we have more injured and need healing right away." Isane said to her captain as she panted.
"Apparently we do. But we need Izaya to help us. Will you girls let us know that Izaya is awake and fully better?" Unohana asked the Bambies as she gave them a warm smile.
"Yes ma'am. We will. Thank you for everything." Yoko told her as she smiled.
"Thank you. Let's go, you two. They'll give us a call." Unohana told them as she opened the gates.
Both Isane and Hanataro walked in as the gates closed. The Bambies all sighed as they watched the fight still happening till Bazz-B passed out finally. Rukia, Ichigo, and Grimmjow were exhausted as they all panted. As Nodt walked up to Bazz-B and helped him up.
"We're done here. Let's go Jerome." As Nodt said as Jerome growled under his breath and walked off with As Nodt.
"Rukia, may we ask what the hell is going on? Why are they all back again fighting you guys?" Ichigo asked as he put his hand on her shoulder.
Rukia looked back at Ichigo as she had tears in her eyes. Ichigo frowned and hugged her. Grimmjow also hugged them as it was now silent. The fires are slowly fading away as no one can come to the park right now.
Every other soul reaper was all healed as some had minor injuries. Rukia returned to the soul society as she wiped her tears away. She looked up as Rangiku entered the gates behind her and smiled at her.
"Hey. Are you okay?" Rangiku asked her as she looked at Rukia.
"Not really…..I'm not sure who I wanna see first….You?" Rukia said to Rangiku as she sniffled.
"My captain of course. But I would see your brother if I were you." Rangiku told her as she smiled.
Rukia nodded as the two were about to walk to squad four but they saw the arrancars and espadas heading towards the gates.
"Oh, hello there. We mean no harm. We were just returning your friends back here to get healed." Szayel told them as he smiled.
"Thank you. Oh, Luppi, hello." Rukia said as she smiled at him.
"Hello. May I ask if Izaya is alright?" Luppi asked as all of his friends grew quiet. They had no idea that Luppi still cares for Izaya even after they had broken up.
"He's getting healed right now, sweetie. But when he's better I'll let him know that you said 'hello.'" Rangiku said as she smiled at him.
"Okay. Thank you so much." Luppi said as he bowed and they all walked to the gates to head to the world of the living.
Rukia and Rangiku looked at each other as they smiled and walked to squad four to see their friends. Unohana smiled at them as she greeted them.
"Lieutenant Kuchiki, Lieutenant Mastumoto, it's so good to see you. You two weren't badly injured were you?" Unohana asked them as she noticed that their wounds were fully healed but still kinda visible to see.
"Yes captain, we're okay. The Bambies, especially Miss Yoko, treated our wounds. And the battle had stopped." Rukia explained to Unohana as she smiled at her.
Unohana nodded as she moved out of the way. "You're welcome to see anyone. They're awake." Unohana told them as she smiled at them.
"Thank you, Captain. I'm going to check on my captain. He had it rough." Rangiku said as she giggled and headed to her Captain's patient room.
Rukia smiled as she didn't know who she wanted to see. It was either Alice, Byakuya, or Ashido. Rukia was thinking about it, not hearing one of the door's opening and closing. Then she turned as she heard a 'ahem.'
"Renji! Oh my gosh, you scared me. How are you feeling?" Rukia asked her friend as Renji's wounds were fully healed.
"I'm alright. Your brother is doing okay but he's tired and exhausted. Any idea why the battle happened again?" Renji asked as he blew on his vape pen.
"No…I should ask Izaya but I don't think he's ready to talk about it." Rukia said as she looked away and sniffled. Trying to hide her tears but failed as Renji wiped them away from her cheeks.
"Hey, you know I'm happy for your little brother right? He definitely deserves to be with someone and I think that Gremmy guy is right for him, you know?" Renji said to her as he smiled.
Rukia looked up at him as she nodded. Renji smiled at her.
"Just keep having faith in your little brother. Oh and also I think you should see Alice first. Ashido got a scar on his eye and they're still working on his surgery." Renji said as he whispered to her.
Rukia gasped as she looked at Renji. "Damn it! I knew I should have protected him when the enemy got to him. Gah. Stupid stupid stupid." Rukia vented to herself as she sighed.
"Whoa there, hey calm down. It was nobody's fault. There was a lot of dust and we couldn't see what was going on. But really, it's alright." Renji told her as he smiled.
"Thanks Renji. Do you wanna see Alice with me?" Rukia asked him as Renji nodded.
"Of course. I was just gonna to see her anyway. Let's go." Renji smiled as he found Alice's patient room and knocked on the door.
Alice was awake as her wounds were covered in bandages. She had a TV on and some water next to her on the nightstand. She looked at the door as she heard the knock again.
"Oh come in please! It's open." Alice said as she paused the TV. Her two friends walked in, giving Alice a warm smile.
"Hey you, how are you feeling?" Rukia asked her as she sat down next to Alice.
"Well, the pain killers wore off but I'm feeling alright. What about you? You look so stressed out." Alice asked her friends as she frowned.
"I'll be okay. This usually happens a lot but we get used to it right?" Rukia told her as she smiled.
"That's true but this fight was out of nowhere. Who are they after for? Us? Izaya? Or Gremmy? I'm asking real questions here." Alice asked as she sighed.
"We'll get that figure out when Izaya wakes up. He got slashed pretty badly and he…" Rukia teared up as she remembered that her younger brother was bleeding badly and nearly died. Rukia shook her head as she wiped her tears away.
Alice put her hand on Rukia's shoulder and frowned. "Hey, it'll be okay. Izaya will make it." Alice told her as she smiled.
Rukia nodded as she hugged Alice and Renji joined the hug also. Now they just gotta wait for more updates from Ashido, Izaya, and Gremmy.
It's been hours since Izaya had woken up. He slowly opened his eyes as he looked around the room, it was dark as he sat up and turned on the lamp. A figure was at the door as they knocked.
"Izaya? Hey, are you awake?" Yoko asked him.
"Oh yes. Please come in, Yoko." Izaya called out to her as he looked at the door.
The doorknob turned as Yoko had opened it. Gremmy smiled at Izaya as Izaya gasped and held out his arms.
"Gremmy~! My Love. Are you okay? I'm so sorry. I wish I could have protected you but I'm such an easy target to get." Izaya said to Gremmy as he sniffled.
Gremmy smiled as he wiped Izaya's tears away. "I'm alright, love. I was thinking about what I can do but Bazz-B is very quick to attack. But is your sister and brother okay?" Gremmy asked as he kneeled and held onto Izaya's hand.
"I wish to call them. Yoko can you put them on the line, please?" Izaya asked his close friend.
Yoko smiled as she walked out of the room to call squad four. Izaya looked at Gremmy as he leaned and gave Gremmy a kiss. Gremmy blushed and kissed Izaya back. Gremmy opened his eyes as he pulled back.
"Izaya, do you still like me? I mean…I'm so worried that everyone's after us because well….I'm a sternritter and a soul reaper." Gremmy asked as he sighed.
"Of course I still like you. I'm not going to break up with you just because none of my friends approve of us being together. Gremmy, we can't let that get to us." Izaya told him as he smiled.
Gremmy wiped his tears away as he nodded. Then Yoko came back into the room as she smiled.
"Izaya, your sister is on her way here." Yoko told him as she smiled.
"Alright. I can move so I'll get out of bed soon. Oh and Yoko, what happened to the other sternritters? If you remember seeing them?" Izaya asked her as he put his hair in a ponytail.
"I'm glad you asked that. They're actually here having some dinner." Yoko told him as she giggled.
"And Jugram? I remembered that he got beat up by Bazz-B. Is he okay?" Gremmy asked Yoko.
"Yes. He's going to be staying with us for a while. He's a bit shaken up right now." Yoko told him as she sighed.
"Hey Yoko! Rukia's here to see Izaya. Bring him down." Candice called out to her as Yoko gasped.
Izaya bowed to her as he walked downstairs and gasped seeing Rukia. Rukia gasped also as the two hugged each other.
"Rukia! My sweet sister! I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry, sis." Izaya said as he sniffled and cried.
"Izaya, it's not your fault. Are you okay?" Rukia asked him as she looked at his wounds.
"Yes, they're closing up if I take it easy. Is Alice, Ashido, Byakuya, and Renji okay too?" Izaya asked Rukia as he smiled.
"Yes. They're all healing right now and so are the others. Is Gremmy okay?" Rukia asked Izaya.
"Yes. Here he comes." Izaya said as he turned around and smiled at him.
"Hello. It's nice to see you again, Rukia. We're doing okay." Gremmy said as he smiled.
"That's good. If you wanna stay here a little longer Izaya, you can but I just want to ask, do you know why you're being targeted by them?" Rukia asked them in concern.
"Bazz-B doesn't like soul reapers dating us. He thinks it's weird because we were enemies. But I wouldn't worry about it too much, I want you two to be happy together." Jugram told them as he walked into the living room, giving them a small smile, his figure all covered with bruises and bandages.
"Oh my god, Jugram, you look so beat up. Are you okay?" Gremmy asked him as he eyeballed Jugram up and down seeing so many bandages on him.
"Yes. Please don't worry about me. I'll be staying here till I'm fully ready to head back to my place with Bazz-B. I think you and Izaya should be alright now." Jugram told them as he nodded.
"Thank you. But umm I wish to meet your other friends. If you don't mind, please." Izaya said to Jugram as he smiled at him.
Jugram nodded as he gave a whistle. Berenice, NaNaNa, Cang Du, and Mask all came into the living room as they looked at Izaya. Izaya gave them a smile as he bowed. They all bowed also.
"Hello, I'm Izaya Kuchiki. Soul Reaper but I'm very friendly." Izaya said to them as he smiled.
They all looked at each other as they shrugged. NaNaNa approached him first as he bowed to Izaya again.
"I'm NaNaNa Najahkoop. It's nice to meet you little man." NaNaNa said as he smiled at him.
"I'm Mask De Masculine. Professional wrestler. I may have fought a few of your friends before. May I do it again?" Mask said as he laughed.
"If Renji is up to it, then we'll see." Rukia said as she giggled.
Izaya smirked as Berenice walked up to Izaya. "Hello, I'm Berenice. My pronouns are 'they them.' It's nice to meet you, Izaya. And we're extremely sorry for causing mayhem again, to be honest I didn't even wanna fight anyways but yeah. Anyways so would you two like to-" Berenice got interrupted.
"Ayo, you're talking too much again. Calm down." NaNaNa said as he put his hand on Berenice's shoulder.
Berenice's face turned red as they blushed. "Sorry about that, I'm a talker." Berenice chuckled.
"I'm Cang Du, I may have fought some of your friends, Izaya. Sorry about that." Cang Du said as he introduced himself and sighed.
Izaya smiled. "It's okay. Thanks you guys. I think we're okay really. And Jugram, I hope you're okay too." Izaya said as he gave him a warm smile.
"Thank you. I'll be okay. Well, it's getting late. I think you guys should head back home now." Jugram said as he yawned.
"You're right, but Izaya if you wanna stay the night and be with Gremmy you know you're allowed too right? Just come home whenever you want to." Rukia said to her younger brother as she hugged and kissed his cheek.
Izaya giggled as he hugged her back. "Thanks sis. Tell Byakuya, Alice, Renji, and Ashido I said 'Hello.'" Izaya told her as he smiled.
"You got it, little brother. Oh and Luppi says 'Hello'" Rukia smiled at Izaya as Izaya nodded at her. "Have fun." Rukia said as she walked out of the Bambies house and headed back to the soul society.
"You two are welcome to have some dinner and dessert too." Yoko told Izaya and Gremmy as she gave them a smile.
"Thank you, we'll get ready. But what about you guys?" Izaya looked at the male sternritters.
"Well, I'm actually heading home. I have to head to my job tomorrow since I am a professional wrestler. You guys are welcome to come by if you want." Mask said as he gave them a wink.
"Sure! We'll see what we can do. Thanks so much. Good night." Yoko said as she waved at Mask and James as they left the Bambies home.
"We're staying the night but I might stay here a little longer to recover and probably stay away from Bazz-B for a while." Jugram said as he sighed a bit.
Everyone nodded as they were all concerned for him. Jugram sat on the couch as he rubbed his forehead.
"Come on, love. He'll be okay." Gremmy said as he held onto Izaya's arm as Izaya smiled and followed him to eat some dinner.
The Bambies set up some rooms for NaNaNa, Berenice, Cang Du, and Jugram as they all washed up and headed to bed to relax their nerves. Gremmy and Izaya also washed up and dried off as Gremmy laid down waiting for Izaya. Izaya looked at himself in the mirror one last time as he sighed. He then took off his shirt as the wound was bandaged up but the bleeding had stopped.
"Izaya? Honey, are you coming to bed?" Gremmy called out to him.
Izaya turned off the bathroom light and closed the door as he smiled at Gremmy. Gremmy looked at him as he blushed. Izaya walked up to him as he looked down.
"Sorry, I have this big ass wound on me. Do you still think I'm hot?" Izaya asked his lover as he giggled.
Gremmy grinned as he stood up and hugged Izaya. "Of course. If you had one eye, no teeth, or no hair, hell even no hand, I will always think you're hot no matter what, my love." Gremmy said as he confessed and kissed Izaya's neck.
Izaya blushed and tried to hold in his moans as he stopped Gremmy. "The blood will re-open again. Behave yourself, okay love~? I'll make it up to you." Izaya said as he kissed Gremmy's nose.
Gremmy giggled as the two laid down in bed as they cuddled each other. Izaya smiled at Gremmy as Gremmy smiled back at him.
"Good night my little love bug.~" Gremmy said as he kissed Izaya's nose.
"Good night, my love spikey goblin.~" Izaya said as he kissed Gremmy's cheek.
The two giggled as they had fallen asleep.
They're so cute together I just wanna rip my heart out for them!
