The prologue to Fallen Dragonslayer that talks about the story of Makoto Naegi before he joins the mage's guild Fairy Tail.

After leaving behind the School of Mutual Killing, Makoto awakens to find himself in a world with flying cats and magical powers. He'll need some help to find the others, too. The Killing Game was over, Makoto and the remaining survivors can finally escape but instead of an apocalyptic world he expected, he found himself in a world he thought that only exist in one's imagination.

This is another idea shout out as well as something I'm going to try and do premises for the story is inside along with character info.
