Yelena goes rogue on a mission and inadvertently causes a casualty. Tension rises between Yelena and Natasha as they head for home, but before anything can be resolved, tragedy strikes. On Yelena's journey of catching up on the last twenty years of lost time, she discovers an odd internet article about something called love languages. Intrigued, she set out on a quest to figure out Natasha's, and the ultimate answer to her question was the last thing she would've expected.

As an exhausted Yelena returns from one of her missions spanning the globe as she searches for widows to free, she bumps into a semi-conscious blonde woman in the alley with a very familiar-looking vest on. Could it really be her? What was Natasha doing in Edinburgh?

On what Kate had thought would just be a normal day, she stumbles across Yelena, doing ballet in the compound gym. Seeing this as a prime opportunity to get back at her for all of the teasing and torture, she begins to make fun of her for hiding this from people. But Kate underestimated the assassin, and she quickly finds out why you never mess with Natasha's little sister.

Yelena's mission was complete. She had traveled across the world for years, freeing all the Widows she could with the help of other Widows from the program. And now, finally, she had an opportunity to live her Sex and the City fantasy with Natasha in New York. Was it all too good to be true?
