New York City is an island set in the world of One Piece. The Straw Hat pirates have found their way through its amazing defense system and are now in pursuit for a stock up, but when the Blackbeard Pirates are hired by the Shredder to make their appearance on the island, The Straw Hats team up with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and work together to chase them off the island.

While sailing the Grand Line in the direction for the New World, the Straw Hats are capture by a grotesque alien creature known as Krang. After escaping his evil claws they see that they are now trapped in a literal New World in a city called New York. While confused at first they meet some friends called the Ninja Turtles. Crazy adventures and training will happen!

An encounter with the Kraang in the Dimensional Station leads to a meeting with the future King of the Pirates. Takes place during The Manhattan Project (TMNT 2012), and pre time skip One Piece, before Skypiea.
