Set after s2e10, the Federation is in some kind of (cold) war with the Gorn. Batel and Una lead a reconnaissance mission into Gorn space on the smallest, jankiest ship ever designed to hold atmosphere. How is that not romantic gold?

La'an Noonien-Singh has had more than her fair amount of tragedy and pain. She had given up on love in her life though she would die to protect it for the lives of others. A connection she can't explain, one that just won't let her ignore or forget has La'an remembering some of her childhood hopes and dreams of love. Will Jim T. Kirk make her realize everyone deserves a chance?

Private conversations that needed to happen between Spock and Christine behind closed doors. Chapter one takes place after S2 Ep8 'Under the cloak of war'. Chapter two takes place after S2 Ep9 "Subspace Rhapsody". Chapter three takes place after S2 Ep10.

Following a successful away-mission, Pike realizes that Nurse Chapel's genetic enhancements for him didn't work exactly as planned.

Post s2e1. Following Chapel and La'an as they negotiate the sadness that so far is season 2, and hopefully fixing some of that along the way. Which means first off Chapel is going to therapy, despite my many previous protestations to the contrary, because she did in fact -die- and surely that would be mandated, right? Part 10 in this series, though reading the rest is not required.

Employing every possible Trek trope in an attempt to achieve peak hackiness. It was a challenge (sort of). Count them if you dare. Also, if you note down any tropes I missed, I'm up for round two.

It's the apparently obligatory sex pollen episode that comes to every Star Trek ship sooner or later. Nothing much happens, but still, you've been warned. Also, I know it's not a drabble, but I did manage 1500 words exactly, so I feel like on some cosmic level it should count.

Personally, I could do without all the flashy visual stuff if it gave me a better show to watch. I don't need sparkles, just give me a good story. I'll settle for 480p if it means you spend the money on writers, directors, acting and run time. Very much in that order.
