NOTE: At this point, I'm going to stop complaining about all of the stories I'm just starting without finishing the current ones. I'm gonna keep pumping these out for as long as I can, so look forward to it. This story has NO correlation to my other SpyxFamily and DB crossover. They are NOT connected.

I apologize for the uncreative title.

Making this clear right now. Goku and Yor are NOT being paired together, I'm attempting to write a story where main characters of the opposite gender are in a platonic relationship. I understand just how easy it would be to pair them together, but I'm trying to challenge myself here.

This story probably won't go past 23rd Tournament or King Piccolo. At best, I'll do short chapters of Yor meeting Gohan and Goten. Even one of the Future Timeline.

Enjoy and Review!

Chapter 1: New Mission

"Are you sure you have to go, Sis?" A young boy with short black hair and dark red eyes. He was dressed in a black T-shirt and shorts. His pleading eyes almost made the older sister reconsider her decision.

Almost.

Softly placing a hand on his head, Yor Briar smiles at her little brother. Yor is a young girl with neck length black hair and dark red eyes. She wore a simple short sleeved red dress and a black hairband. "Sorry, Yuri, but my job requires me to travel. Though, I promise it won't be too long like last time!" Yor promised. The last job that had her traveling had lasted for 2 weeks, trying to avoid active battlefields was always tricky.

The boy pouted, not understanding why his sister needed to be away for so long. "What's the stupid job for anyway!? Why can't they put someone else on it!?"

Yor knew that Yuri didn't know what her actual job was, and she thanked the gods that he never bothered to ask. His question did take her back to when the Shopkeeper had explained the details of the mission. She'd be lying if she said she didn't react with a bit of hesitance herself.

A Few Days Ago:

After entering the Garden, Yor knelt down in respect as she faced the back of her superior, the Shopkeeper. He was dressed as your typical gardener, except his face was covered by a face mask and tinted glasses. Considering the occupation that they were in, he was never one to keep the same appearance every time. However, Yor and the other women of Garden were trained to recognize him at all times.

She hadn't expected to be called in now of all times, but that's the thing with Garden. They'll never know when a new assignment would be given.

"Thorn Princess, are you doing well?" He asked as he trimmed the bushes in his garden.

"Y-yes!" Yor exclaimed, not expecting the question. She was still quite new at this even after the many assignments she's done. By that she meant talking to the Shopkeeper.

She had long since gotten used to the killing.

It was a port of the job after all.

He nodded his head, still a bit silent. "I'm certain you're wondering why I called you in, especially since you just finished your last assignment two days ago."

It wasn't uncommon for them to receive back-to-back assignments, especially the more experienced members of the Garden. Considering how young she was, Yor was unlikely to get too many of those. "Yes, Shopkeeper, I figured that I'd have a bit more time to spend with Yuri after 2 weeks." She couldn't help but voice her frustrations a bit.

The Shopkeeper wasn't bothered in the slightest. "I'm aware, and after this one you'll have more than enough time to spend with him." He turned to look at her. "The details of this mission are simple; you'll be traveling to the country of Japiana to partake in a co-joint operation enlisted by the Red Ribbon Army."

When Yor blinked owlishly at him, the Shopkeeper remembered the girl's limited education and realized she didn't know what that country is or who the Red Ribbon Army were. "The country of Japiana is one of the neighboring counties of Westalis and Ostiana, however they have made no move to get involved in the war between our two countries."

"I see!"

He waited a moment to truly see if the girl understood what he just said before continuing. "The Red Ribbon Army, however, is a separate military force within Japiana. Their goal is world domination."

Even with her limited knowledge even Yor knew that was not a good thing. "Then, why are we assisting them?"

"Their might surpass even the official government of Japiana and could even rival the forces of Ostiana and Westalis. It is believed that if we assist them with their current endeavor, then they'll lend their aid to Ostiana." The Shopkeeper explained. Before she could ask another question, he continued on. "Your job is to help them with their problem of recovering a certain artifact known as a Dragon Ball."

"What is a Dragon Ball?"

"Unfortunately, that information is classified." He responded. "The obstacle getting in their way is an individual of amazing prowess that has bested their best men so far. And now you might be wondering why I chose you instead of our higher members."

"Y-yes, Shopkeeper. If this person is strong enough to even give this Red Robin-"

"Red Ribbon."

"Red Ribbon." She corrected herself. "Then I don't see myself as fit for-"

"I chose you, because I know you won't hesitate. That's all, Thorn Princess." His vague response left the young girl stunned, unsure of what to make of it. "You have three days to prepare yourself for your departure, we will have someone watch over your little brother while you are gone. There will be a transport waiting for you to escort you to their base."

"Yes, Shopkeeper." Yor stood up to leave, but before she could his next words stapled themselves to her brain.

"Watch over yourself, Thorn Princess. It would be a shame if you lost your life so early."

As she finished replaying the flashback in her mind, Yor placed her belongings in the back of the escort ride. As an assassin she never traveled with much, even on long distance assignments. Best way to keep her own identity safe and to ensure that nothing gets lost. Turning back to their small home, Yor gave Yuri one last hug. "Be a good boy for your babysitter, alright?"

Grumbling in her shoulder, Yuri spoke with some reluctance. "Yes, Sis…. You stay safe too, okay?"

"I will, Yuri." Yor responded and gave the boy a soft kiss on his head, making him blush. Unaware of her little brother's plight, Yor turned to the 'babysitter'. "Keep him safe." A hint of hostilities was laced into her words even though she knew the Garden agent would keep Yuri safe.

"Of course, Yor." The older woman simply said, not bothered by Yor's hostility.

With Yuri's cartoonish crying in the background, Yor rode off towards the airport unaware that the mission she was about to partake in would change the trajectory of her life forever.

After a 10 hour long flight, Yor finally arrived at the meeting point for her mission. Yor had no experience with the military or much knowledge of it. The HQ for Garden was much simpler to keep themselves off the radar. A young girl such as herself before the war was much more concerned with playing outside and entertaining her baby brother. So, seeing such a massive military base was a new experience for her.

Her attire made her stand out even more as a Red Ribbon member led her into the base. Yor wore what she dubbed her "Assassin Uniform". A simple knee length black dress to keep the enemy's blood from showing, a gold hairband with a rose headpiece, and thigh-high black boots which was where she kept her golden weapons hidden. It didn't occur to Yor that her age and stature in general made her stand out more than her clothes did.

Ignoring the constant stares she was receiving from the soldiers walking by Yor and her escort finally arrived at the main building where the leader of the Red Ribbon would be waiting for her. Upon entering the elevator, Yor swallowed the lump of nerves in her throat, Yor took some breaths to calm herself. All she had to do was treat this as all of her other missions. The soldier escorting her gave the small girl a strange look, noting just how cold the air around her had grown, so instinctively he took a step back.

When the elevator arrived at the office doors, Yor could hear the sounds of multiple men talking, one of them sounded like he was pleading, not something she hasn't heard before. The escort knocked on the door, interrupting whatever conversation was going on inside. "Who is it?" A deep voice asked.

"I'm the escort, sir! The hired assassin from Garden has finally arrived!"

"Come in!"

Opening the door, Yor was finally allowed to see the men inside, all several years older than her. Which, again, is something she's more than used to by this point.

The first was a shirtless man with blonde hair. He wore brown army pants and black boots, and a small round object was held in his hands. The man seemed to be staring at her with a mixture of shock and disbelief.

The next was a bald tall man with dark skin and round lips. He wore a black suit with a white button up underneath. Just like the blonde guy, he stared at her with slight surprise.

The third man looked very different from the others. He was of average height who looked to be in his early 50's. He has small beady eyes, a pointed nose, and a small thin mustache, with his black hair tied into a braided ponytail. He's dressed in a pink chang pao with a language she couldn't read on the front. Unlike the other two men, he stared at her with a small mixture of curiosity and disregard.

The final man was sitting behind the desk, and she realized he must be Commander Red. The image that the Shopkeeper gave her was spot on with his details. A short man with red hair and a stupid looking eyepatch. Red stared at her with irritation and disbelief, which did put some worry in Yor's chest.

Was her outfit really that bad? Maybe she should've gone for something different.?

Red's gruff voice spoke over her thoughts. "I asked for an assassin, and they sent me a little girl!? Do they really take me for a joke!?"

The dark-skinned man turned towards the Commander. "Sir, Garden is exceptionally known in the underworld for their expert training of women, young and old. If she was sent, then she must be strong enough to handle the mission."

Red still seemed to be reconsidering this idea. "In any case we have Tao Pai Pai, I'm starting to think wasting that money was a terrible idea, Officer Black."

Tao stood off to the side, noticing how Yor wasn't paying attention to the conversation at all. "Young and foolish." He scoffed mentally.

"She is known as the Thorn Princess, if the reports we were told were any given. Perhaps regardless of her age her skills are exceptional enough to assist Tao Pai Pai." Officer Black offered.

"I do not require any help." Tao stared at the man.

"It's more for our benefit, Son Goku is a crafty one. The more powerful assistance we have, the better chance we'll have at annihilating him and getting the Dragon Balls." Officer Black responded quickly. Tao simply scoffed, refusing to think that the small girl had any merit and could possibly be anything other than a hindrance.

Red hummed, then turned his eyes to General Blue, who was quickly trying to find a way to save his own skin. That's when the Commander got a brilliant idea. "Fine then. General Blue!"

"Y-Yes, sir!" Blue turned.

"Thorn Princess!"

Hearing her alias being called, Yor turned to the Commander. "Yes?"

"I don't have much confidence that you can truly be an assistant to the Red Ribbon Army and General Blue here has failed his mission in gathering the Dragon Balls. So, I'm offering you both a chance to prove yourselves." Red looked at Blue. "If you can kill that girl in a fight, then I'll forgive you for your failure."

"Thank you very much!" Blue smirked, thinking it'll be easy.

Red looked at Yor. "If you're as good as your organization says, then kill Blue any way you want. Then, you and Tao Pai Pai can get started at apprehending the Dragon Balls from Son Goku."

Bowing with professionalism, Yor looked him in the eyes. "Yes, it shall be done."

The men and Yor moved to a different location, a circular room to allow space for the fight. Yor stood across from General Blue, her face emotionless while the general looked self-assured in his victory. "Heh, I hope you're prepared, little girl. You're about to face the strongest general in the world." Blue bragged.

Yor didn't respond, simply pulling out her knives from her boots, twirling them between her fingers. The young girl adopted a martial arts stance that managed to catch Tao's attention. "I don't see a single opening in her stance, not only that, but those knives of her's are expertly sharpened. Even with the clean shine I can tell just how much blood had been spilled with them. Perhaps this child is worth more than I thought." Tao decided to actually give the match his attention.

Officer Black raised his hand, then brought it down. "BEGIN!"

Blue charged at Yor with his max speed, sending a strong right into her face. "DYAH-"

SQULECH!

Before the Red Ribbon members could blink Yor vanished from their sight and, Blue's arm exploded in a show of blood. "AARGH!" Blue screamed, holding the beyond repair limb with his left arm.

"W-What just happened!?" Red stuttered.

"I-I don't know…" Officer Black replied.

Tao was silent, he was the only one who saw what happened. A millennium of martial arts practice tuned his senses beyond what normal human abilities were capable of. The Crane assassin saw that within the split second of Blue's punch, Yor had dodged his attack effortlessly. Crossing her arms, Yor unleashed a devastating tirade of slashes with her knives, carving up Blue's arm into a bloody mess. "Hmph, she's more skilled than she looks. Still, she's far behind me and even Tienshinhan if Shen's messages were anything to go by."

Blue gasped in pain as he held his arm, fury burning in his eyes. "Y-you stupid little girl! Where did you-" He froze as the dangerous chill of bloodlust filled his senses. Spinning around, Blue felt his own stomach dropped as piercing red eyes bore into his blue ones.

Yor's face twisted into a sickening sweet smile. "Die for me, please~?"

A golden knife stabbed into his throat, cutting off his oxygen and speech. Blood pooled out of his mouth from the damage dealt. In a last ditch effort Blue attempted to paralyze the girl with his abilities, but it was futile. Yor's other knife sunk into his right eye, stabbing into his brain. The General died instantly, his body dropping to the ground with a loud thud.

His face was stuck in fear stricken expression, the last thing he ever saw being Yor's bloodthirsty ecstasy as she ended his life effortlessly.

The Red Ribbon officials stared at the girl with awe, while Tao quietly smirked at the young assassin as she tore her weapons out of Blue's corpse. "Quick and effective. Perhaps I could make use out of all this and take her as a protege. This girl could become a fearsome assassin if molded correctly." Tao thought sinisterly, plans to use Yor for his own agendas already forming.

Yor turned to Commander Red. "Will that be all?"

"Y-yes! I am more than convinced now!" Red exclaimed, pleased with the results. "Come with me, I'll explain to you both the full objective of the mission."

The four stood on the balcony of Red's office, the two assassins were given a picture of their target. Tao looked indifferent to it, but Yor was surprised by the image of the child. His spiky black hair, orange GI, and red staff. Even though she knew that someone was getting in the way of the Red Ribbon's plans, she assumed it was a grown man, not a child. It made her apprehensive about everything now, she wasn't a fan of killing children, kids like Yuri deserved to be happy.

But… but this was a mission! She had to put it aside and focus on the mission!

"It's just a child." Tao said, unimpressed.

"It's a big mistake to think of him as just a kid. He's abnormally powerful!" Officer Black assured the Crane assassin.

"As long as I get paid, though, I'll have to have my pay increased since I'll be having some 'assistance'." Tao glanced at Yor. The girl tilted her head, confused by what he was talking about.

"Also, that Son Goku kid should have four balls on him. We'd like you to bring those back as well." Red informed the two.

Officer Black took out the Six-Star Ball. "They looked like this."

Yor marveled at the mystical ball, finally learning what a Dragon Ball is. That's when she realized that getting the Dragon Balls back was the other part of the mission as well! "Maybe, we won't have to kill this Son Goku and just take the Dragon Ball from him! I won't have to kill a child!" Yor smiled to herself, believing herself to be a genius. Her sudden radiant smile confused the three men.

Ignoring her for the moment, Red looked back at Tao. "If anyone else attempts to get in your way, kill them."

"Understood. He's in a place called Korin 2300KM Northeast from here, correct?" Tao asked, turning away from the Red Ribbon men.

"We'll prepare a jet for you both-"

"Not necessary." Tao interrupted Officer Black. He walked over to one of the support pillars, expertly breaking it off the building. Lifting it up with zero issues, Tao tossed the pillar through the air. "We'll be back in about 30 minutes." He said before grabbing Yor by the back of her dress.

"Huh?" Yor gasped, being dragged out of her thoughts as Tao jumped onto the flying pillar with her in tow. "WHA-WHAT!?" Yor clung onto the pillar, while Tao stood on it without difficulty.

Tao rolled his eyes at her. "If you're struggling with something like this, then I'm ashamed to call you an assassin."

Yor glared at the crane master. "Th-this isn't normal behavior! Flying through the air on a pillar isn't something we do!"

"Only the weak make such excuses, an assassin must be efficient in all areas, not just combat. Whoever trained you must've been a poor excuse of a teacher if you don't even know that." Tao scoffed.

Yor glared at the man, now wishing to end his life for daring to insult the organization that had saved her and Yuri from being separated. Pushing down her own desires, Yor decided to keep her focus on the mission at hand.

Though, in the back of her mind Yor couldn't help but wonder how strong that small boy has to be to get the attention of such a powerful military force.

"ACHOO!" Son Goku sneezed, almost dropping his Grandpa's Four-Star Ball.

"Are you okay, Son Goku?" Upa, the little tribe boy, asked. He sat on top of his father's(Bora) shoulder.

Goku wiped his nose. "Huh? Oh yeah! I guess someone must be talking about me or something! Hehe!"
