the night seemed peacefull on this new-leaf evening. the Thunderclan warriors were either sleeping or takeing border patroll. one of which was the clan deputy ShadowKnight. he was renouned for his loyalty, bravery, leadership in battle, and respect for his clan leader. everyone in Thuderclan respected him and felt if the clan leader Nightstar, were not fit for his duties or if somerthing were to transpire of him, ShadowKnight would succeed him and be possibly the best Clanleader Thunderclan has seen in moons. as Shadowknight sat on a hill watching ever vigilent, his best friend, Fireblaze, came up to him.
"ShadowKnight! something has happend!" the orange tom cried in horror.
"What what happend?" ShadowKnight asked alert and starting to worry.
"N-Nightstar...he's been murdered." Fireblaze said.
"What?! How?"
"I'm not shure. I was out hunting which explains the blood on my muzzle. and I come back to find our leader dead on the grounds."
"did you see anyone neer the body?"
"no. I assumed everyone was asleap or on border patroll so I came to you."
"I'll assemble a clan meeting. gather as manny cats as you can." ShadowKnight said and dashed off.
"As you wish, Traitor..." Fireblaze said softly smerking evily.
After everyone was assembled, ShadowKnight asked Fireblaze to tell the tale.
"I was out hunting for a small rabbit in the forest on our borders. I come back after killing my prey to find our Dear clanleader murdered. but what horrified me the most was...ShadowKnight killed him!" Fireblaze said pointing a paw at him. everyone gasped.
"what?! Thats a lie I would never Kill our leader. he was like a father to me." ShadowKnight said shocked at the accusation. he lept down from his post and attacked Fireblaze.
"tell the truth!" ShadowKnight roared.
"Um a little help please!" Fireblaze said and a few warriors slammed into ShadowKnight, forcing him off his so-called friend. The whole clan was in an uproar shouting things like "liar!" "traitor" "How could you?" "Murderer!" and the list kept going on.
"Please you have to listen to reason! what possible Motive could I have for killing Nightstar?" ShadowKnight cried in fear, but no one would listen. Then Fireblaze came foreward.
"well, It seems the clan has voted. As of now I here buy strip you of your rank and banish you from Thunderclan FOREVER!!!" Fireblaze cried out and all the cats grabbed what ever they could. rocks, sticks, coals, and hurlded them at ShadowKight making him run for his life. how could this happen? ShadowKnight thought as he ran from the onslaught of his former clanmates. he ran faster and faster untill he tripped on a rock and rolled on the forest floor. he tried to stay awake but darkness was consuming him. Fireblaze...why?...and with that he fell uncontious.
