What's Rocket up to, why is he setting up a room, are we having somebody stay with us as it's summer so maybecBranchie could help figure it out as Rockie won't tell me which is annoying, I can keep a secret and he probably told Lylla what it is of course but mayge Branchie and I can figure it out when they leave the house as Lylla didn't noticeus slip back into the house after patrolling and kicking tail, she'd never understand Raccoon Girl or think it's dangerous good thing only Rockieknows, he gets it.

"Inam Groot." Branchie asked Casey breaking her out of her thinking, as they had came or flown downstairs in Casey's case

"Sorry Branchie, just thinking, yes it's aboht why Rockie's being mysterious, we're superheroes, whatever it is, we got it." Casey replied yawning, she'd just fully wojen up after getting more sleep after returning from patrol as Raccoon Girl New York's first ever super-kit only things had became more.. complicated than when she first got here, attending Avengers Campus as a honor roll student and it had just been her, Branchie and Rocket, but now her brother's soulmate, Lylla had shown up so had moved in which she wasn't used to being nine and a half knowing how Rocket was happy about this, she kept her feelings about it to herself so now, Rocket was keepin a secret from her which made her surprised, curious but worried, in case Raccoon Girl had to get involved and it was summer now.

It was a Summer morning and Casey Raccoon, otherwise known as Raccoon Girl had just gotten up after testing from coming home at sunrise with her best pal, Branchie Groot that happened to be Carmilla and Groot's daughter so had seen Rocket setting up a room for somebody and when she asked her brother aboht it, he kept saying itvwas a surprise which bothered her she didn't like surprises hopihg it was an nice one wearing a Guardians shirt as an nightshirt with purple pyjama shorts which were comfortable for her tail, she hated it being pulled.

"Ohhhhh Groot Morning guys, you're finally up and about to make pancakes but let's go to the kitchen." Rocket told her as she gave him a look as she and Branchie sat atvthe table while Rocket was making and flipping pancakes impressing them whispering making Rocket wonder what they were up to.

"Nothing bro, just thinking about things you know." Casey told him hearing footsteps seeing Lylla, her big brother's soulmate entering looking ready to go seeing Branchie andCasey eating relieved they were up, asking if they'd been up around five this morning seeing Casey and Branchie shrug in reply.

Why is she so concerned about us, she's not my mom and Rocket knows I'm Raccoon Girl and Branchie's my partner, ooohhh I forgot we're supposed to meet Crystal at the comic book store, yay

"I am Groot." Branchie whispered to her.

"I'll tell you upstairs." Casey whispered

After finishing breakfast and putting their dishes, Branchie and Casey went upstairs getting ready for the day, but saw Lylla and Rocket leaving in his ship, deciding to see the room her brother had set up seeingva bed for somebodyher size, a dresser abdca desk, plus a closet seeing the name Phylla making her nervous, guessing they were getting another addition to the family.

"Come on, let's go meet Crystal." Casey said scooping Branchie up flying off making Lylla and Rocket exchange a look knowing the female-kit had figured it out hoping Crystal would calm her down along with whatever comics she was buying as they were heading to the garage getting in his ship blasting off into space heading towards Knowhere.

"You think she knows about Phylla being or becoming part of ouur speciak family." Lylla asked.

"Maybe but she might be weird about it for a bit like with you." Rocket told her making her sigh.

"I just wanna be her mom figure, you know." Lylla told him.

She knew that Casey beingfrom Wondergore having her actual mom there, it must make her feel awkward around her, so wanted to make Casey feel like they were family which made Rocket sigh, he knew Casey was poking her snout into things she should not even if she was curious hoping she would be excited than anxious when they introduce her to Phylla knowing she was still unsure about Lylla wanting to talk about this.

"Let her take her time with me, she reminds me of you." she told him.

"You think Casey will like being my sister, guys." Rocket heard Phylla asking, as he was buckling the golden-furred raccoon female-kit into her seat on the ship seeing Lylla smile warmly at her, knowing Casey would get used to having a lil sister knowing the female-kit was still getting used to her being like a mom to her, which Rocket understood but would help Casey adjust to Phylla being her sister

"Of course she will, once she gets used to you." Lylla told her as they blasted off from Knowhere majing her in awe seeing stars and planets which was soothing her anxiety about Casey being her big sister, getting sleepy from the hyper-sleep that Rocket had activated si was listening to music on the Zune which was relaxing him but also Lylla as she was anxious because she lliked the idea of them being a family living in Brooklyn who happened to tracel outer space but felt him squeeze her paw gently in reassurance that Casey would get used to her and Phylla too, explaining that Casey had a sharing issue which they'd work on with her seeing her nodding in agreement

"Everybody will be okay, Lylla you know." Rocket assured her.

"I hope so, Rockie." she replied to him softly.

"I'm okay guys, Branchie and I are just thinking and trying to solve a mystery involving Phylla." Casey told Crystal

"Ohhhhh, but it's gonna be a fun surprise, trust me." Crystal replied to her seeing the female-kit curious as Rocket had told her magical best-friend but knew not to badger her, making her sigh but excited hearing they were getting ice-cream not knowing that Rocket had asked the magenta-furred goblin girl to wear her out seeing Yoko Nirohita, whose hero name was Tenuki Girl and important to Casey like her friends seeing Casey hug her.

"Hey Casey, genki." she asked her.

"Rocket's heing mysterious and trying to figure it out, but how's things." she replied.

"Good, my dad and Rockai are doing stuff which is music related." Yoko said as they were heased to the ice-cream parlour but Casey was in deep thought about the surprise includihg the room feeling Branchie tap her shoulder gently pointing at the shop seeing Crystal and Yoko there.

"I am Groot." she asked Casey seeing she'd scraped her paw falling.

"I'm okay it just hurts a little, let's go kert our friends." she replied trying to be brave, like when being Raccoon Girl.
