Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter.

Some of the survivors were gathered around, assessing the damage that had been done to the castle the day before. They were discussing death eaters that had been killed, those they had lost, and those who had gotten away.

"Mum got Bellatrix," Ginny said proudly. "It was brilliant!"

Molly looked at her daughter and smiled wearily. It had felt brilliant, too, but she didn't want to admit it to her children.

Suddenly Molly gasped as a pair of arms grasped her so tightly she wasn't sure she'd have all her ribs intact afterward. Still, Molly wrapped her arms around them, embracing tightly in return as they sobbed against her shoulder for a moment, offering a mother's gentle embrace.

"Thank you," Neville said as he stepped away from her. His eyes shone with the gratitude he didn't have words for. "Thank you. You…can't know…this means…thank you."

Molly smiled gently, patting his cheek. "You don't have to thank me. But you're welcome, dear."

Neville turned away to wipe away the last of his tears, and everyone pretended to focus on something else while he composed himself.

Molly's face shone with pride as she watched her children begin to clear away the debris and start to rebuild the castle under the instruction of their former professors. She counted the heads of red hair. Seven. As Arthur slipped his arm around her shoulders, she amended. Nine. Nine Weasleys. Fred and George were working with Flitwick to put up the stones in a wall. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny were working together to sort piles of debris in order to repair the bridge. Percy was working with Bill and Fleur to help the students levitate some of the rubble from the entrance. Charlie was showing Neville and Luna how to remove the scorch marks from the walls of the old castle.

Her children were safe. All of them, those she'd brought into the world, and those the world had given to her. She leaned tiredly against her husband for a moment, sighing as he kissed her temple, before they both moved away from each other to continue their assigned duties inside the castle.

Her family was safe. Their world was free. All was well.
