-Day of the Culture Festival-

"Has anyone seen Izuku?" Kyoka asked.

"The last I saw him, he was walking to the gate with Eri and that Mirio guy," Denki responded. "Why did you need something?"

"No, I just thought he would join us for the bonfire; I will get him." She called out.

"Just make sure you come back." He called after her.

"Dude, are you going to do it?" Sero asked.

"Now or never, right?" he replied, "Carpe diem."

She was nearing the front gate when she saw him waving at a car pulling away. She was about to call out when she saw him turn and grimace, holding his side. When he pulled his hand away, Kyoka saw blood soaking through his shirt. She saw him cover it with his jacket and head towards the dorms. She ran to him when she saw him stumble and slump against the tree.

"Izuku, what's wrong?" she asked.

"Kyoka," he said, startled. "Nothing is wrong, just feeling a little tired, that's all."

"Bullshit," she said tartly. "You're bleeding. I saw it; how did you get hurt? We are going to get you Medical attention right now."

He quickly grabbed her hand before she could leave, "No, don't Kyoka."

"Why shouldn't I?"

"If you do that, they will cancel the bonfire, and I know some people have been waiting for it to confess." He pleaded. "I am fine; just let me get to the dorms. I need to bandage myself up."

"That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard," she said. "You are hurt. You need medical attention."

"Please, Kyoka," he begged. "Just go the bonfire; let me go to the dorms."

"This is so stupid," she exclaimed. "Fine, but I am helping you to the dorms first, then later you owe me an explanation."

He nodded as she slipped his arm over her shoulder and escorted him to the dorms; Izuku looked at his watch. "I can make it from here; hurry back and enjoy the bonfire."

"Fine," she said. "But I am coming to check on you later, and if you are not better, I am sounding the alarm."

"Deal," he said, doing his best to smile. He watched her walk away towards the culture festival and smiled, hoping Denki's confession went well.

He stumbled into the elevator, propping himself up against the wall; carefully, he made his way to his room. Getting the door open, he struggled in, slipping out of his dirty clothes. In the bathroom, he removed his hand from the deep gash from his fight with Gentle. His improvised bandage job had finally fallen apart; he had managed to keep it up for Eri's sake and had been rewarded with her smile. He packed the wound before bandaging himself up; stumbling, he fell unconscious on the bed.

-The Bonfire-

"Hey Kyoka, I thought you went to get Izuku?" Ochaco said, running up.

"I did, but he said he was tired after seeing Eri off. He went to his room." Kyoka lied.

"Oh," Ochaco said, deflated. Suddenly brightening up, she grabbed Kyoka's hand, "You should come with me."

Kyoka wanted to protest, but it didn't get her very far as Ochaco pulled her along before suddenly releasing her and disappearing. Kyoka looked around and saw Denki approach her.

"Hey, Kyo," he said, his voice trembling; she could hear his heart pounding.

Oh, shit! She thought.

"I was wondering if you wanted to dance… you know… with me?" he stammered out.

"I am not much of a dancer, Denki," she replied frantically, trying to think of a way out.

"Just one?" he pleaded. Kyoka just nodded as he took her hands, and they started to dance around the bonfire. "Hey Kyo…"

"Denki if…"

"I like you, Kyoka, a lot; I want to know if you would go out with me?" he said quickly.

"I…I know this isn't the answer you want right now, but can I think about it?" she said. "It has been a busy day, and I want to ensure I can answer you properly."

"Um, sure, Kyoka, take all the time you need." He replied.

Kyoka just walked away quickly. She saw Momo and the other girls looking at her, and not wanting to answer many questions, she disappeared into the crowd.

-A darkened dorm-

Kyoka walked into the dark dorms; quickly, she bounded upstairs. She was about to head straight for her floor, but then she remembered Izuku and went to his room. After a quick knock and no response, she opened the door and saw him collapsed on the bed shirtless. When she touched him, his eyes opened listlessly.

"Oh hey, Kyoka," he looked around. "What are you doing here? How was the bonfire?"

"Rather not talk about it right now," she replied. "Let me see your side."

"No, it's good I got it," he said, trying to move away.

"I am not above taking advantage of an invalid," she said. He rolled to his side, and she pulled back the heavy gauze job soaked with blood. She saw a wound over 6" long and a few inches wide. As she went to the bathroom and pulled out the first aid kit, she slipped on some gloves and began unpacking the wound at least 3 inches deep. "Izuku, this is bad; how did this happen?"

"When I left the grounds this morning to get a rope for the performance, I encountered some villains trying to break into the festival, and I had to stop them. I got cut during the fight but couldn't let the faculty know, or they would have canceled everything." He said. "I just couldn't let that happen."

"Why?" she said.

"It was the best chance for Eri to smile," he whispered. "And she did; your song touched her and allowed her to smile for the first time, I think ever. As did all the other classes, you and everyone else worked hard. I didn't want to let this be taken away from everyone, especially Eri and You."

"Eri, I understand, but why me?" she said.

"You worked so hard on the song, and it was so beautiful. The passion you showed… I didn't want that to go to waste." He said. "Your song gave Eri back her smile, Kyoka; you gave a little girl who had known nothing but pain her smile back. Whatever I had to do to ensure that happened was worth it."

"You knew about Denki's confession?" she said quietly.

"He told me about it," Izuku said.

"You are a stupid, brave idiot, you know that," she said.

"I can live with that," he said weakly.

"Did you really like my song?" she said quietly.

"It was the second most beautiful thing I have ever heard after Eri's laugh." He said. Kyoka was there, leaning over him; she looked down into the deep green eyes and gave in impulse and kissed him. It was soft and tender; it left him speechless. "Kyoka, but Denki."

"I don't know how I feel about him, but I knew that no one had ever said something so beautiful to be in my life. And someone that could say something so wonderful and would sacrifice so much for a little girl and a dumb girl with a song deserved to be kissed." She said. "Now I am going to get Momo to get Recovery Girl and get over here to treat you. We will do it quietly. You may have an infection, and that wound will not close soon."

He could still feel the taste of her on his lips.

-Air Japan Flight 192- 7 Years Later-

Kyoka Jiro, formally Kyoko Kaminair, aka the pro hero and musician Angel Beat, awoke as the speakers announced that they were making their final approach to Tokyo airport. It had been three years since she had been home, three long years. As she sat up, she looked around, putting her seat up in preparation for the landing.

When she stepped off the plane, a familiar head of black spikey hair stood there holding a sign with her name in sparkly letters.

"Kyo," Momo called, running over to embrace her friend.

"Momo," Kyo replied, snuggling into the tight embrace. "God, I missed you so much."

"Funny, it has been three years since you have been home, and if it weren't for me flying to your show in New York, it would have been longer," Momo chastised her.

"Look, I get it. I was bad, but at least I am home now." She replied weakly. "How is Shoto?"

"Fine, I guess; we broke up before I saw you in New York, and we spent that week together," Momo replied, taking her friend's arm. "He was more interested in the agency than me, and I wanted more out of life."

"I am such a terrible friend," Kyoka whined. "Was it because…"

"Some I felt more alive in that week than I had in that relationship," she said. "It just reaffirmed that I had made the right decision. And you have been a terrible friend, but you can make it up by being here now," Momo said. "How are you? Shoto and I never married, but you and Denki…"

"The divorce is final, so that is good," Kyoka sighed. "Things were bad, but I didn't expect to come in the room and see a groupie bouncing on him like that. There was screaming and some stuff thrown, and the band broke up, so I decided to come home and start over."

"If you want a spot at my agency, let me know," Momo said.

"How is everyone else?" Kyoka said. "Are they going to be there tonight?"

"Everyone except Ochaco, but it's hard with her being off the planet," Momo said.

"That was the craziest thing I heard," Kyoka said as they stepped outside. "I can't believe she will be gone like 20 years?"

"It was quite a surprise; the whole mission wouldn't work without her, and off she went," Momo said as she climbed into the back of the limo.

"Thanks for being such a great friend, Momo," Kyoka said. "I don't deserve you."

"No, you don't, but you get me nonetheless," Momo said.

-Six Years Ago-

"Jesus Kyoka, are you ok?"

"Am I okay? I am not the idiot that decided to leave everyone behind and run off into the middle of a warzone chasing after a supervillain." She yelled.

"Look, I am sorry, Kyoka, I am." He said. Wearily, he started to pull his mask back on. He looked terrible and smelled even worse.

"If you think I will let you go off like that, you are out of your fucking mind." She said her jacks flew out and wrapped around his wrists.

"You know those won't hold me," he said.

"I do know that, but I also know that for you to break free, you will have to hurt me to do so. And if you do that, you will put me in danger. You won't do that." She replied.

"Terms?" he said; he hated knowing she was right.

"I have a fresh uniform and some other essentials for you. This place seems to have running water. Take a shower and get some sleep; I will keep watch. Please, Izuku, I know I can't force you to come back, but at least let me know that you are not about to collapse on your feet." She pleaded.

"Fine, I give you my word." He said. She smiled and shoved a bag into his hands.

"Fesh normie clothes and toiletries, please use them." She said. "Especially the soap. I will wash this thing, so maybe you can change uniforms occasionally."

"I get it," he said, stumbling into the shower. Surprisingly, the hot water was still functioning. It took a long time for the water to run clean; when he finally emerged, he saw Kyoka looking out at the rain.

"Wow, green, you clean up nice. Now, sit while I trim up that mop," she pointed to a chair. He knew fighting her was not worth the effort, and he felt so relaxed that he didn't want to. Instead, he obediently took a seat. "Why did you leave us?"

"I had to protect you guys from One for All," he said calmly. "I have to face him."

"You don't have to do it alone, you idiot," she said.

"The pros will be there once I find him," he retorted. "I just don't want anything to happen to you guys because of me."

"When did you get to decide how we live? Who gave you that right, you bastard?" she stopped cutting momentarily before returning to her task. "We all signed up to be heroes, we all signed up for this, now we just get to sit on the sidelines because you deemed us not strong enough?"

"I just wanted to keep you all safe…"

"By getting yourself killed? By making us sit back while our friend disappears in the night, leaving us a goddamn note!" she quickly wiped away her tears. "You don't have to be alone; you don't have to do this alone, Izuku. Come home, come home with me. I promise we can figure something out together. All of us as a class. They are dangling you out here like a worm on a hook, and that is not fucking right. We miss you, your mom, and Eri, misses her father."

"I miss her too; I miss all of you." He said, his voice breaking. "Every time I think I am doing the right thing, it goes wrong; every time I move to save someone, it goes wrong. I stay in the U.A., the entire school and all the refugees are in danger. I stay out here, and it is only me. How do I know what to do, Kyoka? How do I save everyone I care about."

"You start by coming home with me," she had stopped cutting his hair, and her arms slipped around his neck. "Come home with me, Izuku, come home with me. Please come home," the final plea was whispered.

"Kyoka," he whispered back. As their eyes met, so did their lips.

She clambered around, straddling his lap as they feverishly kissed. "But Denki," he spat out.

"We broke up three weeks ago," she moaned, pulling off his shirt. He lifted his arms, allowing her to accomplish her task. She felt the hem of her sweater go up and did the same. She nibbled on his neck and giggled as he fumbled with the clasp of her bra; when it finally sprang, she leaned back as her bra slipped free.

She blushed as he just stared at her breasts, "Izu…" she managed before his mouth found her nipples and he began to suck. She moaned as his mouth suckled at her breast; when his hand slid under the bottom and lifted her, she threw her legs around him and grabbed his hair. She tumbled onto the bed; she reached down, tugging at his shorts as he undid her pants. They were soon naked, rolling around on the bed; she turned, straddling his face as his tongue dove into her sex. Her moans filled the room as her hand stroked his shaft; slowly, she lowered herself, taking him in her mouth.

She felt it was building deep inside, she moaned deeply around his cock, and she could feel him tremble as she felt herself explode. She could tell he was close, taking him as deep as she could; she placed her jack at the tip of his shaft and sent a gentle vibration; he exploded. She did her best to swallow all she could before sliding off him. He rolled her onto her back, and she felt him pressing against her opening. Reaching down, she lined him up better and nodded her head.

He pushed inside gently to her barrier when she hooked her legs around his waist and pulled him in deep; the pain was momentary and blinding. She bit her lip as her body adjusted, and slowly, she started to roll her hips. "Fuck me, Izuku, tonight I am all yours."

That night the fucked, they made love, and they did it all in between, she lost count of how many times they did it, and all she knew was that she fell asleep in his arms.

The morning or it may have been afternoon light found them still in bed. "Kyoka…"

"Don't say anything, greenie; you needed that, and so did I," she whispered. "We can figure it out later, now come home. Will you come home with me?"

"Yes, take me home, Kyoka." He whispered. They climbed out of bed and slowly got dressed. They stood there momentarily, looking at each other. She had so many things she wanted to say to him.

He was about to say something when danger sense nearly knocked him on his ass; quickly, he activated One for All and grabbed Kyoka; as the window shattered, he spun her towards him, time slowing down the bullet tore through her arm instead of striking her chest. He glared out the window and saw Nagant on the rooftop across the way. Smoke filled the room as he scooped her up and dove out the back of the apartment, using the building as cover. He dashed off as more bullets came tearing after them. He jerked them to the left, and a bullet grazed his arm. He kept a hold of her, smoke filling the area.

He came to a landing at a refugee camp with her in his arms; medics came dashing over. "She has been shot," he called out. She could see his eyes, the panic, the fear; it was what he was afraid of.

"Izuku, don't do it," she pleaded.

"I am sorry, Kyo, I am so sorry." He said as they started to take her away.

"Come home, Izuku, please, come home." She cried out, struggling.

"I can't, but it was nice to dream I could."

-Momo's Penthouse- Present Day-

"Welcome home," Momo said, opening the door. "Your room is the second door on the right."

"Thanks again, Momo; you don't have to put me up," Kyoka began. "I can briefly stay at a hotel or my parent's place."

"I don't think so, missy," Momo said. "If I take my eyes off you for too long, who knows when I will see you again beside this place is too quiet. Get settled. Your things arrived a few days ago; the girls will be here soon."

Kyoka entered the room and looked at all her boxes and the bare walls. She sighed and started unpacking her clothes. She carefully opened a box she had marked, pulling out a vintage purple Fender Squier Stratocaster. "For Kyoka, From Izuku, I hope all your dreams come true." She found the stand and set it up near her bed.

She got lost in the haze of unpacking until Momo knocked and told her the guest had arrived. Kyoka braced herself as she walked out and was greeted with duel missiles from Mina and Toru. After intense hugs, she went to the living room, seeing Tsu, Itsuka, Yui, Pony, Reiko, Kinoko, Ibara, and Set. All the girls just smiled and embraced in a giant hug. The two classes had become super close after the events of the final war, the girls in particular.

"I wish Ochaco were here," Toru said as she put a wristband on, and her quirk shut down. "Mei said she would be a little late. She got tied up in the lab again."

"As long as she doesn't blow it up this time," Momo sighed heavily.

"Ok, I know I have been a terrible friend; as penance, I come with boos," Kyoka ran back to her room and returned with several bottles of top-shelf tequila.

"Oh my goodness, is that…" Itsuka said. "That is how I ended up confessing to Tetsu."

"Isn't that how you also had Inari?" Kinoko asked.

"Yes, and her brother Tadashi," she tossed her keys to Momo. "Lock those things up and make sure I don't go home, no more kids." The girls immediately started laughing.

"Fumi says hi," Reiko said as some snacks floated into the kitchen.

"How is he?" Kyoka asked.

"He is doing well. The twins are keeping him busy," Reiko responded. "Poe and Keats are quite the handful. I am looking forward to this night out."

"Katsuki says, and I quote, welcome home, lobs," Yui said before walking towards the kitchen.

"Eiji wants you to come by for dinner so you can meet Masaru," Mina said as she set down a bowl of chips.

"Mineta says hello," Pony called out from the kitchen.

"How many kids are you two up to now?" Kinoko yelled.

"Seven," Pony yelled back. "I wanted more, but he was adamant that we had enough, so he got snipped."

"You know, thought it was insane when they started dating in the second year, but she straightened him out," Kyoka said, opening a Tequilla bottle as Yui returned with lime wedges and shot glasses.

"No one is pregnant, right?" Set asked.

"Not yet, but after a few shots, who knows how this night is going to go," Tsu said, raising her glass. "WELCOME HOME KYOKA!"

"WELCOME HOME!" all the other girls yelled.
