Autumn had been replaced with winter in the blink of an eye. The leaf littered fields were now covered in snow. The trees had their bare branches covered in a veil of white. Snowflakes fell down from the sky in a graceful manner. A soft hush filled the air.

Pooh walked in that quiet world. His scarf was wrapped around his neck. His coat could barely hide his tummy. Arms were stacked with gifts. He hummed his usual tunes. Snow crunched underneath with every step.

If there's one thing he enjoys in the winter, it was spending Christmas with friends. He had been preparing all through the week. He even went out to the market to find something to send to Honey Maple and the Starlight Kingdom. "I wonder if Santa could reach the Starlight Kingdom," He said out loud. He unwittingly stepped on a patch of ice that was hidden beneath the snow.

Pooh slid around. His presents scattered in several locations before he landed on his rump with a heavy thud. "Oh bother!" He muttered to himself as he got up slowly. He grunted as pain erupted on his back. "I hope nothing broke." Once he was on his feet, he noticed something hiding behind the trees.

Pooh took a step forward. His eyes narrowed. "Hello?" He took another step. He froze as the shape moved. Was it Nightplague? Did he come back for revenge? "Sh-show yourself!"

A shape soon appeared before Pooh. He gasped at who he was seeing before him. "Christopher…Robin?"

Christopher Robin stood before Pooh. He wasn't an old man the last time Pooh had laid eyes on him. Instead, there was a young boy. Thin with scruffy brown hair. Dark eyes bright with intelligence. A smile that made it look like it could solve all the world's problems. He wore a white snow jacket with black snow boots. A warm pair of pants covered his legs. "Hello, Pooh."

"Christopher!" Pooh ran. Tears streamed out as he leaped into Christopher Robin's arms. He hugged his friend with all his might. His world spun for a moment. The chill of the winter air was replaced by the warmth of his dear friend. It really was Christopher Robin after all. Once the spinning stopped, he looked at his friend again. "But how?"

"Cassiopeia allowed me to come down for a small visit," Christopher Robin answered. "Besides, there was someone I was meaning to pick up anyway." He turned his head to the trees.

A soft crunch followed. Brown hair soon came into view. Black eyes gleamed at the sight of the same silly old bear that Christopher Robin loved. She wore a simple green velvet dress with a pair of ivory slippers. She smiled. "Hello, Pooh."

Pooh blinked. "Do I know you?"

The young girl giggled. "I guess it really has been a while. You've only seen my pictures once or twice so it couldn't be helped." She walked over to Pooh. She gently held his paw. "It's me. Evelyn."

At that name, Pooh's eyes widened in shock. "But…How?! When? You're a little girl now. However, you weren't when we last saw you before you moved away with Madilyn." Tears began to run faster. They were so hot, the cold didn't sting his nose anymore.

Evely nodded. Her eyes softened. "Yes…I'm leaving now. Don't worry." She patted his head. "I thought of seeing the bear who helped my husband one last time."

Pooh sniffed. He rubbed away his tears. "I wish you could stay longer. It's Christmas time after all." He was soon set down back into the white powder beneath his feet. He looked up at the two children. They held hands as they stared back at him.

"Pooh." Christopher Robin spoke. His voice held a bittersweet tone. "Don't be sad. Remember, you still have friends all around you. Piglet's here. Rabbit's here. Tigger's here. Eeyore too." He went into his pocket and pulled out a seed. It soon grew into a small cluster of Forget-Me-Nots. "I'll always be with you too. As long as you remember me."

Pooh sniffed. He wiped his tears away once more. "I promise. No matter how old I get. No matter how much it hurts. I'll still remember you."

"But don't forget your new friends too," Christopher Robin said. He placed a hand on his dear old friend. "Goodbye Pooh. Take care." He walked away with Evelyn holding his hand. As the two passed some trees, they soon grew into young adults. Both were wearing white clothes that matched the snow around them. Their smiles grew wider as they looked into each other's eyes. They walked on until they vanished into the snowfall.

Pooh sighed. His breath materialized into the cold air. "Goodbye Christopher Robin…" Pooh looked around to see that his gifts were a bit covered in the snow. He began to pick them up. As he was about to grab the last gift, he heard a rustling noise. He turned around, but he didn't see anything. "Hello?"

Behind him, a blur of red ducked to the nearest tree. The shape moved around as Pooh glanced every which way. Then, it stood right behind him. Amber eyes taken in every single movement. A purr escaped its throat. Tail wagged like an excited dog.

Pooh turned around only to be knocked down into the snow. He felt something a bit heavy on his tummy. Warmth spreading into him. He looked up to see a familiar baby dragon looking at him. "Honey Maple!"

"Pooh!" Honey Maple was now bigger than Piglet. Her wings stretched out as if they were sails to a tiny boat. Her scales were redder with an orange becoming more apparent on her chest. Her horns grew a few inches but another set was peeking out behind the other. She leaped off as he got onto his feet. "I found you! I found you!"

Pooh patted off the snow. "You did." He tilted his head. "Did you fly here all by yourself? Where's your parents?"

Honey Maple grinned. "They're here! Everyone from the Starlight Kingdom is!"

Pooh gasped. "They are?! Where?" He frantically began to pick up his gifts. "I better hurry. I hope some of them aren't broken." He was able to grab a few things. Honey Maple helped him pick up some of the gifts with her mouth tenderly.

"Follow me!" She hummed a few tunes as she bounded away.

Pooh followed behind. He couldn't believe how much Honey Maple grew since she hatched. He was thankful that all the gifts were still in good shape. He walked on until he heard something. Laughter. Light-hearted laughter. It grew louder as he soon arrived at a large tree. He gaped at what he was seeing.

Christmas lights strung along the tree. A few orbs of light hovered along it. Presents were lined up underneath the tree. Ornaments graced the branches of varying size and shape. A star sat on top with gemstones embedded into it. What graced this sight more was all of Pooh's friends that huddled there. Rabbit was exchanging gardening tips with Mageln, Kamul and his wife. Eeyore gave a small smile, which was a rare sight to all, as Jasper sang a song about flying. Queen Umbrina is not too far away from them. Roo, Tigger and Lumpy were having a snowball fight with Mayble and Mau. Jinx and Lacy were reciting a spell that made a snowman in an instant. Gopher whistling in approval while Kessy clapped. Owl was looking at a book with Gypsy. As for Piglet, he rode on Wisp's back. He laughed as she leaped over the tails of King Moonsoul, Queen Flamesong and King Gaidon.

"We're here!" Honey Maple announced after she put down her gifts.

Everyone turned their attention to Pooh. They all smiled at the sight. Then, Wisp turned to his direction and screeched to a halt. Snow flying from her hooves. Upon having a better look, she wasn't as scrawny than on the day Pooh met her. Her ribs were more filled out. Her eyes held a new sense of determination.

Honey Maple laughed. "Careful Wisp! You'll get snow all over the gifts."

"Come now," Wisp chortled. "I was simply saying hello. I bet you jumped him upon saying hello."

Honey Maple looked away guilty. She simply picked up the gifts and put them down amongst the rest.

Pooh did the same with a perplexed expression on his face. "What's going on?"

Whirlwind walked over to him. He was much better than before. He wore a few Amethysts embedded in a regal collar. An earring graced his long ears. By his side was Onyx. The Kelpie was in high spirits. Happy to be by his side. "Well. After some time of getting things in order, we decided to head over here for a break."

"We were all curious about how you celebrate this Christmas," Onyx answered. "It seems to be the most fun I've seen in my life."

Pooh gave a small smile. "I'm glad that you're enjoying yourself." He turned as King Moonsoul came to him. Head lowered. He could now see King Moonsoul was fully healed now. He could feel his own strength growing inside. "Everyone's happy back at the Starlight Kingdom now?"

King Moonsoul nodded. "Yes. Far better than ever before. The Wyverns have come back. Most of the generals are handling the change well. Once spring comes, I'll show you myself." He pushed a small gift towards the small bear. "This is from Honey Maple."

Honey Maple stared up at her father in disbelief. "Papa! I was gonna give it to him!" She pouted as everyone laughed.

King Moonsoul grinned. "Sorry dear. I know you've been looking forward to this. Go ahead."

Honey Maple held up her present as best as she could with her claws. It was white parchment paper with a few glowing dots. Tying it all together was a ribbon that seemed to be made out of straw. "This is for you. I heard you give gifts to show how happy you are with the person. So I wanted to give something to you." She smiled. "Because you made me happy, Pooh. You protected me when mama was sick and papa was sad. I wanted to thank you for being with me."

Pooh took the gift. He tenderly pulled at strings. The parchment fell away to reveal a wooden box. Its reddish coloring stood out in the winter air. There was a small clasp shaped like a songbird. Metal wings stretched out for flight. With ease, he undid the clasp and opened the lid. Inside was an amulet shaped like a heart. In the center was a diamond surrounded by gemstone flowers. All of it held up by a silver chain. He smiled.

He pulled it out. "This is so beautiful." He put it on as it was visible against his purple winter coat. He hugged Honey Maple. "Thank you so much."

Honey Maple hugged him back. "You're welcome Pooh."

Everyone watched on as the two friends were enjoying a much needed reunion. Tears ran down their faces. Sniffles filled the air. After some time, Tigger decided to break the silence.

"Hey! What are we crying for?" He grinned from ear to ear. He began to bounce around. "It's Christmas! Let's party!"

A roar of joy filled the air. Everyone danced and sang a few tunes. Snowballs were tossed around. Snowmen armies darted around the area. Food being cooked over an open fire. Gifts were passed around.

Pooh sat next to Piglet as he enjoyed his latest pot of honey. He looked over to Honey Maple. Life without Christopher Robin will always hurt. However, the memory of his dear friend will always remain. He has his friends with him. Honey Maple is with him. Deep in his heart, he knows…that his adventures are just beginning.
