In the City of Ouroboros, the Serpentine were having a small-scale Slither Pit tournament, two Venomari were fighting until one of them won. Suddenly, a Rattlecopter hovered down, the two fighters moving out of the way for a landing.

A Constrictai walked out, rolling out a purple carpet and carrying a chair and umbrella. She then sets them down and pulls out drinks with tiny umbrellas in them. "Ready!" she shouted as Garmadon walked out of the Rattlecopter.

Garmadon sat down on the chair and took his drink, "It's so bright!" Garmadon complained, "I never understood how your kind could withstand such heat."

"Lord Garmadon," Skalidor said as he and the other Generals and their lieutenants moved towards Garmadon, "What bringsss you to our humble dwelling?" He asked.

Garmadon took a sip of his drink before answering, "The Ninja may have destroyed my Mega Weapon," he said, leaving out the part where he allowed the Ninja to destroy the Mega Weapon if only to save his daughter. "But I have an ingenious new plan."

Skales leaned over to his fellow Generals, "Are ssstill allowing him to be in charge of usss?" He asked as the Generals grumbled back, after the abuse their people endured under Garmadon's leadership they began to question why they continue to put up with him.

"Sometime ago, when Captain Soto and his pirates mutiny our ship and before they locked us in the brig," Garmadon reminded them of the first time he used the Mega Weapons, "I had learned from his Log that they were searching for a fabled Island of Darkness."

"Island of Darknessss? I thought that it wasss a myth?" Selma said in confusion.

"Oh no, my dear Selma, it is no myth. I remember my father telling me and my brother stories about when we were young that there was a forbidden island beyond Ninjago." Garmadon assured with an evil smile. "An island created out of evil itself. Once we find its concentrated dark powers will help me, I mean us!" He quickly corrected as he stood up. "We can rule Ninjago together!" He declared.

"Oh pleassse." Skales said with a wave, isn't convince one bit. "You're having usss chasse after fairy talesss now?" He questioned boredly.

"Not fairy tales, but a rea place that exist long before any of us were around." Garmadon told them. "A place full of untold power."

Fangtom was the first to show genuine interest. "Untold power? Count me in!" he said.

"A place just dripping to the brim with darkness!" Garmadon added with a smile.

"Darkness sounds nice!" Acidicus said as the other Generals smirked, already coming up with a plan.

"I'm looking for a few brave Serpentine!" Garmadon shouted. "Who'll join me?!"

The three Serpentine Generals cheered as Skales just facepalm himself as Selma shook her head in annoyance.

"Selma your incharge until we get back," Garmadon said

All five of them joined Garmadon back in the Rattlecopter before it took and the search for the Dark Island began.

Back on the Bounty, the boys were sleeping until they heard the alarm clock ringing and groaned. Kai then threw a stone at it, knocking it into the gramophone which only made it go off louder.

The Ninja groaned in pain, except for Zane who was still sound asleep, before Lloyd blasted the clock with his green energy, finally ending the horrible noise. As the Ninja sighed in relief, they all sat up.

"Is it Wednesday already?" Lloyd asked groggily.

Kai checked the calender, "Yup, it is." He groaned as he turned to his friends, "You know what that means,"

"Lydie's sunrise exercise," Jay groaned. "I hate Lydie's sunrise exercise."

Lydie then entered the room, looking very refreshed as he was finishing up a cup of tea. "Ah. Good morning, morning, morning! Up, up," She said as she turned to her friends. "It's a new day, boys!"

The Ninja got up, still tired.

"Captain, we just got back after saving all of time," Cole complained while rubbing his eyes tiredly. "Couldn't we get some more Zs?" He asked.

Lydie gave a light chuckle. "Just because we prevented father from changing the past and destroyed the Mega Weapon, doesn't mean he won't find another way to change destiny. We gotta keep our guard up if he strikes again." She said as she went to the window as she opened the blinds. "Now, before we began sunrise exercise, Uncle Wu came and told me that the dragons had another accident outside." She added with a sheepish chuckle. "I think it's a four-person job." She chuckled as she wore her goggles and brought out a bag as she carried spares. "I'm going to clean up, Umbra, but one or two of you guys will have to take care of Utra." She added as she toss Lloyd the spares as she walked out the room.

What they just heard quickly roused them from their sluggish state.

"Uh what was that, Captain?!" Cole said as all the Ninja, minus Lloyd, frantically ran around.

"Did I just here an SOS call come in?" Kai asked as the boys quickly got ready while Lloyd looked around in confusion.

"I sense I need to be somewhere else!" Zane pointed out.

Jay then went up to Lloyd. "Hehe, Lloyd! I'm sure the legendary Green Ninja can handle a job like this!" He nervously chuckled as the Ninja made a beeline for the door.

"Ah. You might've been able to dump chores on me when I was smaller, but I'm grown up now," Lloyd told them which made them halt. "That's not fair!"

The Ninja sigh in guilt as they turned back to Lloyd. "Ah, you're right, Lloyd. We need to settle this like men." Kai said as they walked up to him before he gave a smile. "With a game of Rock, Paper, Scissor!" They all join their hands in the center while Lloyd just gave an annoyed look before joining his in. "Okay, on three. One, two, three!" Kai declared as he, Jay, Zane and Cole had their hands out flat while Lloyd had his closed tight.

The Ninja pulled away as the four Core Ninja whooped in victory and Jay smirked at Lloyd, "Haha! Paper beats Rock!" He declared as they won and he lost.

Lloyd grumbled. "Agh, I'll never understand how paper beats rock!" He said.

Outside Lydie just came back after washing from cleaning up Umbra's mess and found her brother holding a bang of Ultra's, "Wow, that was fast Lloyd." She commented.

Lloyd held up the bag as he gave a glare at the others. "I always have to do the dirty work." He complain.

"Hey, having a pet dragon requires a lot of responsibility." Cole told Lloyd as he gestured to Ultra and Umbra.

Lydie frowned at him, "Ahem, I think you forget that the four heads of that dragons are your dragons too." She reminded the boys, "Meaning Ultra is also your responsibility too, ans also means you can't always dumb his clean duty on Lloyd."

"We didn't dump it on him! We settled it like men." Kai said in defense.

Lydie raised a brow before she crossed her arms. "If by men, you mean you settled it on a round of Rock, Paper, Scissors?" She asked dully.

The boys looked at her stunned, "Wow, she's good." Jay commented.

Lydie then smirked, "But hey, this just means Lloyd and I are off the next Dragon clean up duty and you guys are free to do it for us." She said

The boys widen their eyes from that, but before they could make a break for it, Lydie uses her elemental power to blast right into their path, startling them as they stopped and turned to her, completely stunned.

"Come on, Captain. You gotta cut us some slack." Cole said.

Lydie then tapped her chin, "Hmm, your right, let's settle this like adults…with our own round of Rock, Paper, Scissors." She said as she and the boys put their hands in, "On three. One, two, THREE!" She declared as the boys had all their hands wide open while she had her pointer and middle fingers sticking out. "Ha! Scissors beat paper, boys! I win!" She cheered.

The boys groaned as Lloyd walked up to them with a chuckle. "Now that I understand, scissors cuts paper." He commented with a smile before he cringe at the smell. "But the next time, you guys are in clean up duty."

"Hey, like Cole said, cleaning up your dragon's mess is part of having a pet," Jay told Lloyd, "Didn't your mom ever let you have a pet?" He asked as Lloyd looked down sadly and Lydie looked at Jay with a heated glare.

The boys cringe at that as Zane stomped on Jay's foot, "OW!" Jay screamed as he held his foot and hopped around, "Zane, what was that-?!" He questioned before Zane pointed and he turned to the Garmadon siblings as Lydie hugged her brother in comfort. "Oh." He said in realization and guilt.

"Lloyd and I don't remember our mother." Lydie said sadly.

"She abandoned us when we were really young when we were separated." Lloyd continued sadly as he took off his goggles.

"She just left?" Kai asked in surprise. "We know that Lydie's aunts took care of her, but who took care of you, Lloyd?" He asked in sympathy.

"I spent my whole life in Darkly's Boarding School before Lydie and you guys found out about me sometime back." Lloyd explained before they heard and alarm going off from the Bounty.

The Ninja looked up and saw Burmesia climbing down the anchor. "Hey, I have a missssion for you guysss!" She told them. "It's the Mussseum of Hissstory! They've asssked for you guysss! Sssomething's really ssstrange his happening!" She called out as she slithered towards them.

"What?" Kai asked in confusion.

"You're gonna have to sssee it to believe it," Burmesia replied.

"Here, Burmesia. Hold this!" Lloyd told her as he handed her the goggles in the bag before rushing off with the Ninja.

"Wait, what am I sssupposssed to do with thessse?" Burmesia asked before she turned to Ultra Dragon and realized. "Oh," She frowned before pulling the bag away from the smell.

The Ninja, Wu and Nya, who is in her Samurai gear, arrive to the museum as fast as they could as they entered the building and saw the second curator waiting for them as he pace back and forth before he saw the Ninja.

"Oh your here, thank goodness your here." The man said in relief.

"We heard there was an emergency?" Wu asked him. "And where is ?"

"Yes, and Dr. Saunders is away on business and that's good. Come, come. Quickly, this way," the curator explained as he lead through the hallways where workers were mopping up something. "The Stone Warrior exhibit opens to the public today, and this couldn't come at a worse time!" he expressed as Wu gasped silently.

"Stone Warrior?" He asked himself in worry.

"Er… What couldn't have come at a worse time?" Lydie asked in confusion.

The curator then explained, "Ninjago City appreciates your help in destroying the Great Devourer some time back." They walked past the workers and saw they were gasmasks as they mopped away a strange green, glowing liquid, as he continued. "But it appears its toxic venom has seeped into the city sewer system and has had the most unusual after-effect."

The group then immediately repulsed when they caught the smell. "Pee-yew! That snake venom sure is strong! Now I know why dad turned bad, because of that evil stink!" Lydie commented as Lloyd nodded in agreement with her.

"Oh, that's stink!" Kai complained.

The curator opened the door and they all saw little Samurai figures made of stone with glowing green eyes messing up the place.

"The toxicity in the venom somehow brought our merchandise we made from the statue's fragments to life!" The curator cried as the bobbleheads ran crazily across the shop. "They're so unruly. I just don't know who else to call!"

One of the figures jumped in Zane's head before hitting him in the head. "Ah!" Zane grunted before crushing the figure.

"We've got this covered." Jay assured as they walked in. "I think we can handle a few toys." He boasted as he cracked his knuckles.

"And please, could you contain the fighting to the gift shop?" the Curator asked as they went in. "The doors to the new exhibit will be opening soon and I don't want Dr. Saunders to return with the museum in shambles. Thank you." He then closed the door quickly.

The group quickly got to work, but it was easier said than done. The bobbleheads were fast, slippery, and mischievous most of all!

Jay smashed some with his nunchucks as Lloyd was cornered by a horde of bobbleheads before some dropped a bust statue of a Stone Warrior on his head. "Ouch!" He yelped as he rubbed his head and then glared at the little creeps laughing at him. "Stupid little guys!" He growled before smashing them.

Some more spilled some marbles over the floor, causing Kai and Cole to slip and fall to the floor as the bobbleheads laughed at them.

"All right, play time's over!" Kai shouted as he was annoyed by them. "NINJA, GO!" He did Spinjitzu and destroyed a few more bobbleheads.

"NINJA, GO!" The rest of the Ninja minus Lloyd did Spinjitzu and they managed to destroy all the bobbleheads in the gift shop. Once they stopped, they saw that they destroyed more than just the possessed toys as everything in the gift shop was destroyed.

"Uh… oops," Zane said after seeing what they did.

"Maybe we could tell the curator that it was an accident." Nya said sheepishly, seeing that they caused more damage to the gift shop than what the bobbleheads did.

Wu and Lydie then notice two of the bobbleheads had slipped out and ran down the halls. "Hey get back here!" Lydie called as she and her uncle chased them

The bobblehead laughed as the two were getting irritated. "Come here, you little-!" Wu demanded before he stomped on it.

Lydie got so annoyed as she blasted the second one with her powers as she took a breath. "That was the weirdness mission we had. And we've seen crazy." She commented as her uncle nodded in agreement.

They then heard the door behind them opened and turned to see a woman walking out. Lydie immediately recognized her, "You again." She said in surprise as the woman turned to her.

"Hello, there, Lydie." The woman said with a small smile.

Wu looked at the lady in shock as he recognize her as well. "Misako." He said stunned.

"Wu." The woman responded as Wu blushed a bit. "It's been a long time."

Lydie looked between the two in surprise, "Wait, you two know each other?" She asked before he realized the name her uncle said as she looked to Misako, "Wait, your name is, Misako?" She asked, as that name sounded familiar.

"Well, Wu did say it." Misako said with a small smile while Wu looked embarrassed.

The others than walked to them as Jay cleared his throat as they took of their masks. "So, are you gonna introduce us?" He asked politely.

Wu cleared his throat and approached Misako, "Yes, this is Misako Montgomery." He introduced.

Lydie blinked in surprise, "Wait, Montgomery? That's my and Lloyd's middle name." She noted as it finally started to click with her as she slowly looked at Misako, "Then, does that mean, Y-Your…" She trailed off.

"Yes, Lydie." Wu answered for her. "She's your and Lloyd's mother." He revealed as the others gasped in stunt as Lydie was speechless as they turned to Lloyd as he walked towards them just as speechless as his sister.

"Our, our mother?" The Garmadon siblings asked in shock.

Misako turned to them as she gasped in surprise at Lloyd. " "Lloyd? My little boy," She said with a smile as she approached him. "You're so much bigger than I remember."

She tried to hug him but Lydie came between them and pushed her back. "Yeah, well that what happens when you live your kids behind and leave one of them in an evil boarding school for a long time!" Lydie retorted as she gave a look to their mother.

Misako sighed, "Oh, I didn't want us to meet or for you to learn who I was like this." she said before frowning. "I have a reason for being away-"

"Yeah, well, we don't want to hear it!" Lloyd yelled, interrupting her before he and Lydie stormed out.

"Lloyd, Lydie, wait! Children!" Misako called but they did not respond and slammed the doors behind them. Everyone turned to Misako in concern as she sighed in guilt.

Meanwhile, out at the Endless sea, the rattlecopter hovered as they traveled the ocean while Garmadon and the five Serpentines were searching the waters for the Dark Island. "Nothing but endless sea," Garmadon murmured as he moved his spyglass away from his eye. "I don't understand."

Skales then spoke up. "It'sss becaussse there isss no land outssside of Ninjago!" He pointed out.

"Ninjago isss the only content that your father had created in this accursssed ocean," Acidicus added, "We've been searching all afternoon and found not even a blip of land." He stated.

"The island must be out there. My father would never make something like this up." Garmadon insisted as he look through his spyglass again. "We'll do another lap." He suggested as he went over to the pilot.

Skales then turned to his fellow Generals, "He's without his Mega Weapon, he's frivolousss." Skales whispered, telling them that Garmadon was wasting their time

"Ssso how do you recommend we get rid of him?" Skaildor asked.

"Turn around! We need to find the island today!" Garmadon told the Anacondrai driving the Rattlecopter.

"Yesss, Lord Garmadon." The Anacondrai answered as he turned the copter around.

Skales then pointed out to the open sea, "Ooh, there!" He called, getting Garmadon's attention, "Isss that the island?" He asked.

"Where?!" Garmadon asked hopefully as he looked at where Skales' pointed to as he looked through his spyglass.

But then, Skales then pushed Garmadon off the copter as he screamed and fell into the ocean as the copter flew away from the 'fallen' dark lord.

"It'sss about time we had a Ssserpentine back in charge!" Fangtom declared with his staff held high, "All hail, King Ssskalesss!"

"All hail, King of the Ssserpentine!" The Generals said in unison as they bowed to Skales while the Hypnobrai laughed victoriously and they flew back to the city of Ouroboros.

However, if they had stayed, they would've seen a strange and powerful current pulling Garmadon further out to Sea.

Back in the Ninjago City's Museum of History, Misako opened a door to the Stone Warrior Exhibit. "Lloyd? Lydie!" she called for her children as they all walked into the room and saw a large object, obscured by a large white tarp.

"Wanna bet the giant Stone Warrior statue that's gonna be displayed later?" Kai asked his sister.

While the others looked around, Misako then noticed the door to another room was slightly open, she walked in and found her son and daughter sitting close to the edge of very deep hole and in front of him were several banners of a series of events that seemed to involved the First Spinjitzu Master.

Misako the walked up to them. "I'd watch your step, that hole doesn't have a bottom, children," She gently warned as the Garmadon Siblings flinched. "It's where I found the giant Stone Warrior."

They then then turned to her with resentment' "Uh, 'children'? You've been gone our whole lives." Lloyd told her.

"Lives that you should've been part of!" Lydie added before looking away, "There's nothing you can say to us."

"Well, I'm going to talk anyway," Misako told them as she walked around the hole. "You wanna to know how I'm alive and what I've been doing all this time? Long before Wu ever knew who would be the Ninjas of Yin & Yang, I knew it would be you two. And I knew you both would eventually have to fight your father. " she explained as Lloyd and Lydie were surprised by what Misako said as the others walked in as well. "I then dropped you off at the Boarding School, Lloyd and you at the Jamanakai Orphanage, Lydie, so I could go learn everything I could about the prophecy, in hope of one day preventing the final battle of good and evil. All this time, children, I've been trying to save you two and your father," She explained as Lydie and Lloyd was surprise by this as Misako turned to the tapestries as the others came in. "Long before time had a name, your Grandfather, the First Spinjitzu Master, created Ninjago…" She started.

"Yeah, yeah. We've already heard the story of grandfather a hundred times already." Lydie interrupted her rudely, still ticked off at her.

"But you've only heard half of it." Misako revealed as they were surprise by this as she continued. "In Ninjago, there has always been balance in the forces of magic between opposing forces of Destruction & Creation, Order & Chaos, and of course, Good and Evil," She said as the tapestry showed a serpentine dragon with a lion-like mane, whiskers and antlers with a lizard like dragon with horns roaring in the form of a Yin-Yang, before it turned to a man wearing a bamboo hat and holding a golden sword. "So, you know how the First Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago, using the four Golden Weapons."

The man then thrusted his sword up as mountains rose from the earth, forests grew, and rivers ran across the land around him.

"But what if I were tell you in order for there to be light, there must be shadow. And within shadow, there is darkness," Misako went next as the tapestry showed a dark pit, with black smog bellowing from it, and within that smog a creepy purple smile and magenta eyes glowed, as the Ninja and Nya almost heard haunting laugh, sending chills down their spines. "The blackest of darkness that existed from the very beginning. An ancient and evil spirit called the Overlord." The smog then erupted upwards showing a black shadowy form floating over a forest, screeching loudly.

Lydie look at the spirit stunned, "Overlord?" She repeated as she felt Lloyd holding her hand.

"The living embodiment of all that is Dark and Evil in Niniago." Misako explained grimly.

Zane then turned to Wu. "Did you know about this, Sensei?" He asked as the others were wondering the same thing.

"I had hoped if I'd kept the secret, that name would never be spoken again." Wu explained as Misako continued on.

"The balance was at stake, and their battle could've gone on for eternity. Each side powerful, either could truly conquer or be rid of the other," Misako said as the tapestry showed the Overlord and the First Spinjitzu Master clash repeatedly, until the Overlord was flung back. The next tapestry then show the Overlord creating a Samurai warrior from stone. "Until the Overlord created his indestructible warriors: the Stone Army." The tapestry then show rows on rows of Samurai warriors, some with four arms, others with two that the Overlord had created.

"The Spinjitzu Master did what he could, but he knew against such numbers with such strength he would soon be defeated," Misako said as the tapestry showed the First Spinjitzu Master surrounded by stone warriors before he struck the ground and a crack of light formed across the ground. "So instead of losing the battle, he used all his power to divide Ninjago in two! Thus, creating the land of Ninjago and the land which would only imprison the Overlord, the Island of Darkness." The tapestry then showed the land breaking off from a black landmass as the two drifted away from each other.

"And lucky for us, since then there has been no trace of the Overlord, or his Stone Army," Misako said with a smile before boring a more serious expression, "Until my most recent discovery."

"So that's why the battle has yet to be decided." Kai said slowly at what they learned. "It was never finish." He finished in realization.

"But where is this Island of Darkness?" Cole asked.

"Yeah, even I never heard of it." Nya said in agreement, since she knows most areas across Ninjago.

"Disappeared, I presume." Misako guessed. "But the legend states that so long as the balance between good and evil remains even, the Overlord shall remain trapped from this world. I have always feared your father's ambition will ultimately lead to a shift in the balance. That is why he must be stopped."

"We have each felt the power of the First Spinjitzu Master, passed onto the form of the elemental weapons." Wu stated as he turned to the Garmadon siblings. "But now, that power has been inherited by the Ninjas of Yin and Yang. Which is why Lloyd and Lydie can defeat the ultimate evil. Or else all of Ninjago will fall prey to it's darkness." He said as Lloyd and Lydie looked down in confliction at what they learned.

"Leave you both was the hardest thing I've ever done." Misako admitted to her children in guilt. "I could've cared less for Ninjago if meant you two had to fight your father, but if there was a chance I could've prevented that from happening, I had to make that one impossible choice." She said as both Lloyd and Lydie nodding in understanding, now forgiving their mother for leaving them.

Meanwhile, cone have gathered outside the room where they are talking in the front of the large tarp where the Curator stood next to. "And now ladies and gentlemen, I present to you this museum's greatest find," he spoke to them. "It outdates every other piece we have here, found right underneath this very building. I give you…" He then went up to the tarp. "An ancient Stone Samurai Warrior!" He removed the tarp to reveal a giant four-armed Samurai statue nearly four times the size of a normal man.

The crowd applauded and took pictures so loudly that none of them noticed a single drop of the Devourer's venom dropped down on to the statue's head, reanimating it as its stone body turned black and red. It then flexed its arms and the ponies gasped in shock, "It's alive!" One man yelled as they all backed away.

"Impossible! It just looks life-like," the curator assured before the Stone Warrior grabbed him and spoke in an incomprehensible language. It then threw the curator at the man as the crowd ran out of the room. It looked around and heard voices.

"I'm sorry we came off so harsh to you mom," Lydie said as inside the room she and Lloyd hugged their mother, "We just thought that you didn't care about us."

"Oh, I do care for you children. I just didn't have a choice when it comes to trying to save our family." Misako said with a smile as she held her children, "As I traveled Ninjago, the only thing that kept me going was the thought of you two, safe and sound."

"Well, for Lloyd, the boarding school thing, you could've left him with me at the orphanage, Mom." Lydie stated awkwardly. "In fact, you could've at least visited us."

"Sorry, but I couldn't risk bringing you two together too soon. That would've premature fulfill the prophecy." Misako explained before looking ashamed, "And after I left you like I did, I felt you didn't deserve someone like me in your lives. That you two would turn me away for separating you and not being there for you." She said in shame.

Lloyd then place a comforting hand on their mother's shoulder. "Hey, what matters is that we're together again, Mother. So have you found a way to prevent us from facing our father?" He asked hopefully as Lydie nodded in agreement, also wanting to know if there was a chance to stop them from facing their father.

Misako just shook her head. "I'm sorry, not yet." She answered before she gave a confident smile. "But I have reason to believe there's still hope." She said.

She was then interrupted when they heard a smashing sound and turned around and saw the Giant Stone Warrior at the doorway pointing his swords at him.

"WHOA! Excuse me for saying this, but can somebody please tell me," Jay started before he pointed at the giant warrior, "WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!"

"The Stone Warrior!" Misako answered as she held her children.

"The Devourer's venom must've reanimated him!" Zane realized.

"That freak looks like dad! But ten times his sizes and with badder armor!" Lydie cried out since the Stone Warrior almost looks like Garmadon.

"Grrr… great! Even when it's dead, that overgrown snake is still causing us problems!" Cole complained before turning to Kai, "Kai, take care of him!"

"Um, me?" Kai asked nervously before he looked at the stone giant that almost seemed to be taunting him.

Nya rolled her eyes at her brother, "Move over, Big Brother, and let a real Samurai knock this guy down a peg." She said confidently as she drew her glaive.

Kai widened his eyes from that. "Nya! Wait!" He cried out but his sister ignored him as she charged at the Stone Warrior.

"Okay you block headed samurai wannabe! Take this!" Nya challenged as she flipped in the air with her blade out. The moment Nya's weapon struck the Stone Warrior's sword, it shattered into pieces.

"Well, okay. Gotta admit, this is not how I pictured this in my head." Nya said before she was picked up by the Stone Warrior by her leg.

"The Overlord created his Stone Army from an indestructible material only found on the Dark Island!" Misako explained.

"Ah. Great! You could've mention that before I attacked this thing!" Nya complained before the Stone Warrior tossed her over her shoulder. She then crashed into some pots.

"Lloyd! Lydie! Use your powers!" Wu ordered as the Garmadon siblings charged up their elemental energy and blasted the Stone Warrior. The others cheered for them before they gasped in shock as the Stone Warrior was unharmed. It then spoke in its indecipherable language, sounding quite angry.

"Wait a minute. How are we supposed to destroy this thing?" Cole asked.

"We can't," Misako told him as they backed up as it was beating down the door frame.

The Ninja charged at the statue, but all their attacks bounced right off it as it just swatted them away.

Zane threw his shurikens, but the Stone Warrior knocked them away.

Cole tried to swing his scythe but missed and then got kicked away.

Kai then tried to strike his sword with his, but he just got knocked away.

Jay then quickly charged at it, but was punted away. The Stone Warrior then shook the floor with a stomped as Jay rolled away.

"Heh, easy big guy, maybe this is a sign you need to lose a few pounds," Jay joked as he was elbowed and Jay slid towards the pit. He panicked as he got close but thankfully Cole caught him just in time, "Whew, close one." He said.

Zane then jumped and tried an air kick at the Stone Warrior's chest but he only got bounced off. The Stone Warrior then thoroughly pummeled the heroes before he tossed them out of the room one by one, and they hit and slid down the walls.

Misako groaned as Wu stood before her and held out his hand, "Are you alright?" He asked.

"Yes, I'm fine." Misako said with a small smile as Wu helped her up.

"Ugh, this is gonna much harder than a bunch of bobbleheads, guys," Cole groaned.

"This guy is the real deal." Lydie commented as she rubbed her back.

Jay then walked up o the doorway. "Well, then I suppose it's a good thing we're in a museum," He said nervously.

"Why's that?" Nya asked before the Stone Warrior burst through the doorway.

"Cause we're all about to become history! RRRUNNNN!" Jay screamed as they all ran for it.

They all ran as fast as they could but the Giant Warrior was right behind them, surprising fast for it's size., "The Guy's got a pair of sneakers on him!" Lloyd noted as he saw the Stone Warrior gaining on them. "Pick up the pace! Go! Go! GO!" He called out as they ran faster.

But no matter how far or fast they ran the Stone Warrior stayed right on their tails, even running through narrow openings didn't work as it just busted right through them as he chased the heroes up the stairs, "Oh man. He's pretty fast for a big guy!" Kai exclaimed seeing the Stone Warrior's remarkable speed.

"How can something that big or that heavy move so fast!?" Lydie asked before they entered another room and barracked the doors.

For a moment they thought they were safe but then the Stone Warrior stabbed the door, scaring them as it roared while trying to break down the door.

"This thing is unstoppable!" Cole shouted as they backed away from the door.

"Indestructible, is be precise." Zane commented as they saw the door was beginning to crack.

Kai backed away. "That door's not gonna hold him forever!" he said.

"Then let's settle this like grown ups," Jay suggested. "With Rock, Paper, Scissors! Loser has to face him, so the others can escape!" With that, the Ninja and Nya put all their hands in.

Lydie and Lloyd looked to each other and nodded as they put their hands in too before Nya pushed them out, "Ah-ah! Not you two, Chosen-Ones." She said as they agreed the Garmadon Siblings weren't worth the risk.

"Ah. On three." Kai said as the five then move their hands. "One, two…" He was cut off when the Garmadon siblings had an idea.

"Wait minute!" Both Lydie and Lloyd called out. "That's it!"

"What's 'it'?" Wu asked his niece and nephew.

"If you guys can keep him busy, we think we know how to stop him." Lloyd spoke.

"We just need time to get it set up." Lydie finished.

The boys and Nya looked at eachother, "I say we give the Garma-Twins a shot." Cole stated.

"Your just saying that because your too afraid to face him!" Jay accused.

Nya raised a brow and crossed her arms, "Then I take it you wanna face him?" She asked as the Stone Warrior continued beating on the door and roaring.

Jay frowned in fear, gulping a bit before turning to Lloyd and Lydie, "I say we give the Garma-Twins a shot." He said casually as the two nodded.

Lydie and Lloyd looked around before Lydie saw a ventilation nearby as she tapped her brother. "This way. We can use the vents to get around that thing." Lydie stated.

"Great eye, sis." Lloyd said with a small smile as the two rushed off to the vent as they opened it as they entered.

"Be careful, children." Misako said in concern. "And good luck." She added with a smile.

"Thanks, mom." Lloyd said with a smile.

"Nothing can hurt us, as long as we're together." Lydie assured as the Garmadon siblings crawled through the vent.

"I can't believe they're actually the children of Lord Garmadon," Misako sighed as she looked at where Lloyd and Lydie had vanished.

Wu then smiled sympathetically at her. "Don't forget, they're yours too." he said as Misako turned to Wu.

"They had a good protector," Misako smiled.

Wu smiled and gestured to the four Ninja and Nya. "You mean, protectors," He corrected.

Garmadon was found washed up on a beach of a small island. Somehow, he had survived as he moaned slightly as he stood up and saw that he then walked around and looked around before he got the haunting feeling that…something was watching him.

"Ah… I've been waiting for you, Son of the First Spinjitzu Master." Garmaodn heard a weak, raspy voice call out, coming from within the jungle, the voice sending chills up and down his spine.

"Who are you?! Where are you?!" Garmadon asked as he looked for the source of that voice, frantically. "What is this place?! Where am I?!" He demanded as he noted the unfamiliar palm trees. "This beach isn't part of Ninjago!"

"It is the place you were always meant to find," The voice wheezily responded. "Destiny brought you here."

Garmadon then realized what the voice meant. "This.. this is the Island of Darkness?!" He asked. "The one mentioned in Captain Soto's log and from my father's stories?!" He asked as he picked up the sand as he gave a confuse look. "But, who are you?" He questioned.

"I have worn many names in my lifetime, but you may call me...'Overlord'." the voice rasped out.

Garmadon was surprise by the name, remembering how his father said that name was never to be spoken, before he spoke up. " I… I order you to give me the power to defeat the Ninja!" He demanded. "Give me the power to turn Ninjago into my own image!" The only answer he got was the Overlord howling with laughter. "Why do you laugh at me?!" He demanded.

"Soon, you will have everything you desire, but first, there is something you must do for me," the Overlord told them as he revealed himself to be a black orb covered in purple smoke.

"And what would that be?!" Garmadon asked.

Back in Ninjago, the Stone Warrior finally broke down the door and stomped into the room, but noticed that noone was in here. As he walked around the room looking for the Ninja and their allies, he didn't realize they were hiding above him. Jay then gave Cole a signal and he nodded before racing across the room, jumping over to hanging skeleton, slicing a rope, and dropping a massive creature's skeleton. The Stone Warrior looked up just in time to see the skeleton burying him under a pile of bones.

"Whoa! Direct hit!" Jay cheered as they came out of their hiding places.

They all stood where the skeleton fell on the Warrior. "Did we get him?" Cole asked before the Stone Warrior's fist burst out from the bones as he roared.

"He's still here!" Kai shouted as they backed away from the pile.

"Do you think Lydie and Lloyd are ready with their plan?" Zane asked.

"I sure hope so," Nya said as they all ran out of the room as the Stone Warrior's body erupted from the pile, with the creature's skull on his head. As they ran, Misako tripped and fell before Wu helped her up.

"I might not be a Ninja, but I can look after myself," Misako assured him before she jumped over a railing and slide down a piece of tapestry. The others followed her example and slide down the tapestry themselves.

Before they could run again the Stone Warrior crashed in the middle of them, knocking them all, minus Misako, down as it smashed the skull on its head before turning to the woman.

Misako ran as it brought its sword down and nearly hit her. It then gave chase to her as the others recovered. Misako ran down a hall and into a hallway filled with large pots and hide behind one of them. The Stone Warrior started smashing pots one by one, getting angry as he kept failing to find her, not realizing she was hiding behind a pillar. As he was about smash another one, he finally noticed her before she gasped and ran away again.

The Stone Warrior smashed open doorways as she led it back to its exhibit room and she ran into the tapestry room. "Mom!" Lydie's voice called out.

"Over here!" Lloyd spoke next as she turned and saw her children in the room waving to her with some buckets of paint and paper around them, and the pit was missing as well.

"Lloyd! Lydie!" Misako cheered before she over to her children and the Stone Warrior broke the doorway again. Misako stood next to them as it roared at them.

"Hey loser!" Lloyd called to the Stone Warrior.

"You think you're unbeatable and can win at anything, huh?" Lydie challenged. "Well, we got news for you, pal!"

"Paper beats ROCK!" The two shouted as the Stone Warrior roared and charged at them.

The three rolled out of the way just in time to where Stone Warrior was standing where they were and fell into the pit hidden under the paper, screaming to the bottom. Lloyd, Lydie, and Misako walked over to the pit.

"Of course, the bottomless pit," Misako realized.

Lydie smirked. "Ha! Looks like the Overlord didn't give his indestructible army any brains along with unmatched brawn!" She declared as she and Lloyd fist bumped.

The others came in as they see the mother and children hugging in relief as Misako gave her children a proud smile. "I'm so proud of you both." She said Lloyd and Lydie took off their masks as they smiled at their mother. "I feel like the balance has brought us together."

The others approached, with Wu making an offer. "Stay with us. Help us fight the good fight."

Misako smiled and turned to Lloyd. "If that's okay with my children." She said

"Hey. The more, the merrier," Lloyd quipped.

"Family gotta stick together." Lydie finished as Misako smiled and they hugged again.

Back on the small island, Garmadon made his way through the jungle, pushing through the foliage. "How much further?!" Garmadon asked.

"Until I say so," The Overlord said as the orb floated above Garmadon's head, "You do want to turn all of Equestria into your image, correct?" he questioned.

"Of course, I do!" Garmadon retorted as he pushed away a branch, "It's all I've ever wanted!"

Garmadon came across a clearing on a hill and walked up to a large rock sitting on top of it. Four switches were revealed to be on. He looked at each detail and noticed something.

"Four hands?" Garmadon pointed out before he looked up at the jungle where the Overlord was watching him. "Is that a coincidence?"

"I told you, it is destiny!" The Overlord said, almost amusedly.

Garmadon rolled his eyes. "Whatever," he said as he flipped the switches.

He then felt rumbling after he pressed the plates and the rock began to sink down as other larger rocks began to rise around the small island.

The Overlord howled with laughter as the villains were getting freaked by what was happening, "HAHA! Rise! Yes, RISE!" The Overlord yelled to the sky as it went dark as more rocks began to form out of the ocean around them. Pretty soon the rocks and pillars transformed the island into a dark mirror image of Ninjago.

Garmadon stepped back and gazed at his surrounding now that the scenery has changed.

"The ultimate battle between good and evil has been foretold." Garmandon turned to see a purple orb of dark magical energy float, a Blackish core pulsating as it spoke with the Overlord's voice. "And with your help, we will rule this world!"

Garmadon laughed maniacally as he had found the island he have been searching for: The Island of Darkness.

Lydie gasped and braced herself against a table, sensing a huge spike of dark energy that just appeared as she breathed heavily.

The others saw this as they came to her in concern. "Sis?" Lloyd asked in concern.

"Are you okay?" Misako asked her daughter in great worry.

"I-I don't know." Lydie honestly said as she stood up while looking straight. "It-It felt like, a huge source of dark energy just, erupted out of nowhere." She said solemnly as the others looked on in concern.

"Really? Because I didn't feel anything." Jay pointed out with a shrug as the others nodded in agreement.

Wu and Misako gave concern looks as Wu spoke up. "I believe that the darkness is becoming even stronger than we thought." He said while stroking his beard.

"You think this has something to do with father?" Lloyd asked.

"I don't think so. He maybe evil but he's not strong enough to give me that kind of sensation." Lydie pointed out.

Misako nodded, "She right, this isn't Garmadon, it's something else." She said with a grim tone, "Something far more powerful and ancient."

The others gave worried expressions, realizing that this is bigger than they thought after dealing with the stone warrior.

"Well, whatever happens, we'll face it together." Lydie said as she and Lloyd turned to their mother. "Not just as a team, but as a family." She added.

Misako smiled at her children as they gave each other a family hug as the others watched on with warm smiles while Wu smiled at the family, wishing that his brother was here to enjoy this. But if they succeeded, perhaps he would.
