Running though the jungle everyone kept looking back, making sure the Angles where unable to gain any more ground then possible. As they fled bolts of all kinds went back to try and ward of the continued approach of the angles. Sarah Jane looked back only a moment being ahead of the rest and came to find her self standing in raging river, only standing in the shallow end she was able to pull her self out. Sky came soon after and Sarah caught her before she fell in.

"We can't go any further " called Sarah Jane "There's a river blocking our path."

"What?" asked Rani as she came over. "Dam."

"Why have you stopped? Oh." said Luke joining them.

"SONTAR-HA!" shouted Clyde.

As they stood by the river, they all did nothing as they racked their brains.

"We need to build a raft." blurted out Luke.

"What how?" reasoned Rani.

"Can your laser cut down trees."

"Yes."

"Good, start cutting."

"What will you do."

"Gather vines and sap to act as a way to bond the trees together."

"What are we doing?" asked Clyde coming over.

"Making a ship, how close are the angles.

"Very."

"Can you try and hold them off."

"I will greatly draw them away, in a great battle." grinned Clyde.

He soon raced back in the woods shooting blaster fire before running of in the other direction.

Rani brought over the trees she had cut down wile Luke brought over sap and vines, allowing Sarah Jane and Sky to compile the three components together, to make a crude line of trees that construed a crude raft.

After having completed the raft everyone gathered around it and tired to push it to the water.

"Come on." called Luke.

Soon the raft met the water and they all stopped before it was pulled down the river, Sarah Jane and Sky where the first to climb on before Luke joined them, Rani looked back in hopes of seeing Clyde.

"We need to go." said Luke.

"Clyde isn't back yet." replied Rani.

"Leave him, or we'll never make it."

"His fate should be the same as ours."

"It will be if we don't move now."

"Can you two stop arguing." butted in Sarah Jane.

Rani looked back and didn't see Clyde and so began to finish pushing the raft out in to the water. Just as they where setting out in to the river the sound of blaster fire sounded and Clyde cam running out shooting in to the jungle.

"Get on." called Rani.

Racing over he jumped on and looked back as he fired another few rounds at the angle as it continued to make it's approach. Rani waded though the water as she pushed off as the river carried it away, leaving Luke and Clyde to pull her up on to the raft. Looking back they saw one of the angles freeze in the river as the water waded over it's stone body as it became fixed in the middle of the water.

As they where carried down the river the raft was thrown around and everyone was forced to hold on on to the logs groves and stubs.

"Does anyone know where going?" asked Sarah Jane as she was thrown around.

"This river should lead towards the intake pipe for Poppy City." said Rani.

"What's that?" asked Sky, as the logs dipped in and out letting water flow on to the raft.

"It's a city out side the Emerald Space Station." said Luke.

Water washed over them as they carried on down the river. Their speed became apparent when the river turned to rapids, everyone caught on and noticed the speed of things shooting past them. But that was soon over and flimsy raft began to brake apart by the force of the rapids forcing the raft under the water as it thought to resurface. It soon erupted as it broke to pieces and logs swung around and knocked everyone about, Sarah Jane went under the water for a brief moment.

"MUM!" shouted Sky.

Rani dove under and helped pull her out.

"I'm okay Sky." she said as she tried to tread water.

They all tried to grip on to the logs as they where carried down the river.

Left to grip the left overs of the raft the other logs bounced between them, they where soon throw form the river as it end in dam. Wile the water was pulled in to under water shoots the force of the water it self carried the logs over to the now dry river bank which had no more then a treacle on water slithering down it. As each member of the party was thrown they each landed roughly on the ground, wile for the most part everyone was fine Luke's hay had been drenched and scattered.

As everyone got up Sarah Jane checked her device to find it was still working and she was no more worse for where. Rani was trying to drain her system and Clyde was checking his equipment, Sky was busy helping Luke collect his hay.

"I don't need your help." he said snapping the straw form her.

As the company regathered, they looked around and decided to climb out of the river bank. Climbing up the side they saw the yellow trail ended before a small city coated in a layer of red glass all around it.

"Is this the Poppy city?" asked Sarah Jane.

"In deed it is." said Clyde. "The Emerald Space Station is on the other side."

"Well how do we get in?" asked Rani.

"There should be a latch somewhere for a door." said Luke.

The five made their way along the small remains of the trail and found the red glass did in fact offer up a giant metal bolt door.

"Well how do we get though that?" wondered Rani.

"I have just the thing." smiled Sarah Jane, she whipped out the Sonic Lipstick and zapped the door.

The blots turned and hinges moved and the door creaked upon, a red mist seeped out that was gathering at the roof made a short escape. As they pulled the door wider open more red mist escaped, stepping in they air filled their faces as the door was shut behind them.

The city was built out of cheep second hand metal, and had scattered and cramped streets. They where left to wonder around as they came to a lager area with chairs and tables scattered around, soon they where taken back as a mirage of different wall facing service windows spring up, the vendors began to sprout out their sales pitch to intense the passing creatures.

"Can I other your some happy?" called out one.

"How about a bit of sleep, everyone loves sleep?"

Luke walked over "Do any of you have something to make me dumper?" he asked.

"We sure do my lovely." they replied.

Turing around the dug though their stash.

"What are you doing?" asked Sarah Jane. "Were are going to Emerald Space Station."

"I'd rather just get want I want now, and not deal with him again." replied Luke.

"Here you go." said the merchant handing it over "It's called dumb."

Luke attached the small clear patch to his sack head, before he seemed to loose all sense and fell in to the floor.

"Do you have any fear?" asked Clyde.

"WHAT!" burst out Sarah Jane.

"Anything to be rid of this false bravery."

"I got just want you need my mate." called the other other vendor holding out a another patch.

Clyde grabbed it and smacked it to his forehead, before he was over whelmed with cowardice he shrivelled up on the floor becoming terrified at every little thing.

"Stop, can't you see what this is doing." insisted Sarah Jane.

"What about you little one?" offered the second Vendor. "Can I offer you some sleep to escape this dream?"

Sky was drawn in and took the patch putting on the side of her neck as she became woozy and fell to the floor.

"SKY!" shouted Sarah Jane as she was rushed towards her daughter and held her sleeping body.

"Can I offer you something sweet heart, how about home. Let all this just fade away in to a smile." asked the second vendor.

Sarah Jane looked to her sleeping daughter and to the vents above shooting in the red gas as her eyes where brought down to the patch. Getting up she reached out and took hold falling back down as she placed it on her arm, letting a smile come over her as she just let everything go.

Rani was left standing, she looked at her companions and she tried to leave and see the wizard her self found she was unable to leave them. Bending down she tried to sake the others out of their funk unable to find shake them out, leaving her no option then to peel off the patches.

"You shouldn't do that." warned the first vendor. "If any one but us the takes of the patch, they will suffer extreme shock."

Rani stood back and went to question the Vendor.

"Then how do I…" she started.

But the vendor shut the door and pulled it down, Rani turned second only to have them do the same, leaving her to bang on the doors. Some of the passers by snuck past and tried to lift sky and take her away, forcing Rani to turn around and shoot of warning shot. Letting them run of Rani was left to safe guard the others.

Pushing though everyone in her way a little Graske was looking back over her shoulder as her little legs carried her as far as they could. Rani saw the little creature approach and noticed she seemed distressed, as it came over she reached out hand and she ran to hid behind her.

"Why are you running?" she asked.

"Being chased." she replied. "Robot beast."

Rani seemed confused and as she watched low and beyond a little robotic dog came out baring K-9 on it's side.

"Hold it there." said K-9 "You are not to proceed."

"What are you doing dog?" asked Rani.

"I was trying to locate Mistress, but this animal tried to scarp me for parts, so I pursued."

"Is this true?" asked Rani.

"Need to make living." was the reply she gave.

"Who is your Mistress?" asked Rani.

"Sarah Jane Smith."

"Do you mean Sarah Jane, is this Sarah Jane is your mistress?" asked Rani gesturing to Sarah Jane who lay on the floor.

"This is Mistress, and Mistress Sky." K-9 nodded in return.

"Can you help them." asked Rani

K-9 moved closer and extended his nose to scan the patches. "Negative, this is beyond my function."

"I know, I know." chimed in the Graske.

"What really?" Rani smiled "How?"

"First animal no attack."

"Dog do you promise not to attack."

K-9 was silent for a second before he answered "Affirmative."

"Okay how do we help them?"

"Need to disrupt the patch?"

"How we don't have anything top do that?" sighed Rani.

"Sonic Lipstick." spoke up K-9

"The What?"

"The Mistress' sonic lipstick."

With out thought Rani dove in Sarah Jane's pockets who seemed indifferent, pulling out the sonic after a short rummage. Unease spread over her circuits as she looked over everyone wondering who to try it on first.

"Are you sure this will, work." she asked the Graske.

"Yes." she pressured.

Looking away and aimed at Luke and zapped the screwdriver. Shooting up Luke awoke up and spun around.

"Did it work?" asked Rani.

"Why did you do that?" he argued.

"You where, under a trance form the patch."

"And the gas." said the Graske "Makes people want them more."

Luke seemed confused and was more so as she then ran up flipping of K-9 as she raced off further in to the city.

"Lest do the others." she said enthusiastically.

Luke still coming round watched as she zapped the others, each one getting up and coming around.

"I fear nothing." blurted out Clyde "Dam it." he cursed. "Why did you get rid of my fear."

Rani only scowled.
