What they deserve (damn it all!) ~Epilogue

"Alright now," Heidi said, as she adjusted her phone, to take a picture, "Oh my goodness, look at my children, all six of them heading off to school! Smile!"

Six small faces beamed back happily to their mother and Heidi took several pictures and then wiped at her eyes. She couldn't believe it. Her little Stephanie, Carlos and Robi were heading off to 3rd year and the triplets, Enya, Lya and Luan were heading off the nursery school attached to the primary school.

"Mami, we're gonna be late," Carlos said, crossing his arms, looking serious, "I wanna show off the cool new action figure I got for my birthday to Otto, since he went to Spain during my birthday."

"Lea and I are gonna work on bracelets too," Stephanie said, as she fixed her shirt, "We gotta make three for the triplets."

"Gabe and I are going to look for bugs," Robi giggled, their eyes sparkling with mirth as Heidi's face twisted in horror, "No spiders, we promise, Heidi!"

"Good," She turned to her youngest trio and asked, "And you three, what are you going to do at nursery school?"

Enya and Lya were almost carbon copies of Heidi, from their, skin coloring, their curly hair their fur type, to their fluffy tails, the only differences they had were that they had their grandfather's almost icy grey eyes and their father's goofy smile and that one darn blond spot on their ears when they had their cat appendages out. Rats, almost perfect. Luan looked just like his father, with his blue eyes and blond hair but with Heidi's nose and his grandmother's full lips. He had no spots on his sandy blond cat ears that looked almost Lynx like, with small tuffs at the end and the nub he had for a tail. Both Heidi and Anya had been miff, seeing as there hadn't been a male born in their family in almost 500 years.

'You great-great-great-great-great-great-great…toss a few more greats in there- grandfather looked like a lion, is what I'm told," Anya said, with a shrug, "Guess the males are wilder like, while the women are elegant."

"We play!" Enya and Lya said together, Diesel and Heidi were hoping to break them of that sync talking, ever since they could begin to babble they would do it at the same time, it was kind of creepy, even for Unmentionables, "We play with the other kids and toys!"

"No wanna go to school, Mommy," Luan clung to his mother and buried his face in her legs and whined like a wild cat, "I miss you!" Unlike his adventurous siblings, Luan clung to his mother, and Heidi indulged him far too often.

"Hey there, my little lynx," Heidi said, running a hand through Luan's blond, "It's only until noon and then Papa and I will come get you all and we'll have a big lunch, okay?"

Luan nodded his head and then buried it in his mother's neck before strong hands were grabbing him by the waist and tossing him up in the air, making the boy squeal in delight, "Hey now! You're going to have a blast at school, little lynx, who else is going to reign in the tiny terrors known as your sisters!"

"It's cause you're a pacifist, Papa!" Enya and Lya giggled and Diesel gave Heidi a long look before he sighed and shook his head.

"Buddy system, grab a hand, this time, I get Mommy's hand, you six are out of luck," Diesel said, snatching Heidi's hand before anyone else can, "Big to small, please," he stuck his tongue out at Robi, who was often the first to grab Heidi's hand, "I win!"

"There's always tomorrow," Robi reminded Diesel and the man huffed and pulled Heidi close to him, "Besides, you two sleep in the same bed."

"And somehow there is always a child or two in between us," Diesel said as they began their walk to school, "We haven't had the bed to ourselves since the camping trip your Auntie Jeanne and Lester took Stephanie, Robi and Carlos to and the Triple Tiny Terrors were grandparent-napped for a week."

"That was a nice week," Heidi sighed as she leaned in and whispered to Diesel, "I'm so glad school started up again…"

"I heard that," Stephanie turned to Heidi and smiled, "Don't worry, Mommy, we're glad school started to0, that means, tumbling after school begins next week!"

"And so does the scouts, Robi and I are going to get all the badges this year," Carlos said, and then a grin broke out on his face, "Plus some extra badges like B&E into the-"

"I swear to bob, if you break into any school room, this year, I'm taking the new utility belt from you for 100 years," Heidi said, as Diesel chuckled and Carlos and Robi sulked, "Robi, you're suppose to the wiser one of the two."

"But B&E is fun, Heidi," Robi sighed but they looked over to Carlos and said, "Best not to break into the school, there's the bug museum I wanna sneak into to free the butterflies."

"Oh my goodness," Heidi sighed as Diesel pinched her side gently, resting his hand on her waist, frowning as he felt something was off.

With the children dropped off, Diesel and Heidi walked back home and when they entered the house, Diesel pressed Heidi up against the door of their house, which had been expanded several times, in secret, to house the family and kissed her deeply. Heidi let out a moan of bliss and then she let out a squeak as Diesel tore off her dress and looked down at her frame, which was cladded in only a pair of skimpy pink panties.

"AH HA!" Diesel said as he placed his hands on Heidi's slightly rounding belly, "You sneaky snake, I knew it! Look at you," he crouched down in front of Heidi's belly and kissed it, "You are pregnant, how far along are you?"

"…three months," Diesel's eyes widened and he looked down at her belly, "Yes, and I'm that big," Diesel kissed her belly gently and then his hands were sliding up to play with her breasts, "Mmmm, Diesel."

"You think we'll have twins this time, or triplets again?" Diesel asked as he sat up and kissed her neck, his erection digging in her thigh, "Fuck, I'm so excited…"

"Are you?" Heidi asked as she spread her legs for Diesel as he began to undo the buttons of his pants, "Yes, you are…"

"Hmm, I think I like the idea of you pregnant," Diesel said as he ripped off Heidi's panties and lifting her up slightly, "I should make sure you stay pregnant!"

They fucked quickly against the front door, twice, before Heidi stumbled away from Diesel, giggling breathlessly and running to take a fast shower, before Diesel joined her and made her messy once again. Afterwards, Heidi and Diesel lounged on the bed, nude, as they lathered one another in moisturizer and basked in the fact that their now oversized bed was empty, save for them.

….And the pile of children's clothes that needed to be folded and put away. Stephanie and Carlos were getting to the where they could start to put away their clothes and fold their socks, but Heidi and Diesel still did the heavy lifting, they were slowly but surely teaching their kids how to take care of themselves but only because it helped with their dexterity.

They wanted Stephanie and Carlos to have a fun and carefree childhood. After that night in the Medical ward, They all called for Robi and spoke about how they wanted to do this. Carlos and Stephanie wanted to go back to that magical year as six-year-olds, but they wanted to sort of remember parts of their adulthood. They broke enough rules to most likely land in Unmentionable jail but Heidi owned a powerful artifact that loved her so, what rules? The only one who wasn't part of the inner circle to know about the true whereabouts of Carlos and Stephanie was Lester and that's because Heidi and Diesel matchmade them on purpose because they were adorable together in the last timeline and damn it, they adorable now!

Heidi and Diesel had to agree that yes, their first year with Stephanie and Carlos was magical but the second time around was almost 100 times better. They became fast friends with Lea and Otto almost instantly, fell in love with the school they went to got involved with clubs and only used their gifts a few times. Franz Schmit was handled quickly by Heidi, with a talk to his mother, he didn't bother anyone at the school now.

Trenton had been in a tizzy about Stephanie and Carlos running off because this time, they really did run off on their own accord. Stephanie and Carlos would sometimes ask about Trenton but those days were becoming less and less as they found living with their Mommy and Daddy was better than anything else. Being older siblings for the triplets was fun as well. Knowing that when they were overwhelmed with the toddlers their Mommy or Daddy or any other adult would step in to save them was wonderful. They were growing up to be well rounded children, with a lot of Unmentionable gifts.

"This is the life," Diesel said as he folded clothes up, "No chasing down crazy cousins, instead I have to wrangle three toddlers into the bath after they manage to find their way into the cookie butter, way less dangerous and cookie butter happens to be my favorite type of cookie."

"I didn't hear you say that about the flaxseed chia seed cookies the kids bought from their after school cooking class," Heidi teased as Diesel let out a gag and wrinkled his nose, "There is a cookie you don't like!"

"Chia seeds and flaxseed do not belong in any cookie, ma'am!" Diesel snapped angrily folding a shirt, "As I recall you freaking tossed them out to the birds!"

"I did, crimes against cookies," Heidi said as she continued folding clothes, "Remember to put butter on the grocery list, the Terrors ate all the chocolate chip cookies for breakfast, when I turned my back on them, so-"

"Those were suppose to be our snack for tonight!" Diesel whined and fell back on the bed, with a sigh, "Life ain't fair!"

"Argh, Papi, the Terrors are running around covered in soap, naked!" Carlos shouted as he came running in, covered in his Batman bathrobe, "They got into the bouncing bubble soap, Bath time will never be the same again!"

Diesel looked over to Heidi, who was running a detangling brush through Stephanie's hair, a smile on her face, "I told you to put that away, you sneaky snake."

"I did," Heidi said, looking over to Diesel, "It's your turn to put the Terrors to sleep, you didn't read them the right book, you know Dr. Suess is the only thing that puts them to sleep."

"Dr. Suess! I thought it Curious George," Diesel walked past Carlos and said, "Kiddo! Jammies on, Mommy's coming to tuck you in after she does Stephanie's hair."

"Can we sleep with you all tonight?" Stephanie asked as Heidi slipped a silk night cap on Stephanie's hair to protect her curls, "One big sleep over!"

"Oh, if you must," Stephanie smiled as Heidi agreed to the request, "If you must kick your Daddy in your sleep."

"Yes! Thank you Mommy," Stephanie said, looking up and kissing Heidi on the cheek and hugging her, "I love you."

"Well, I love you too, sweetie," Heidi hugged Stephanie back and then the girl was hopping off her vanity chair and running out the ensuite to the hallway.

"Carlos,Robi, sleepover with Mommy and Daddy tonight!" Stephanie yelled down the hallway and Heidi sighed as she heard not only Carlos and Robi running over the Master Suite but also the triplets, who were now dried and back in their pajamas, "Terrors! Sleepover, Daddy, you can't say no, Mommy agreed!"

"This is a kangaroo court!" Diesel argued but he pulled the blankets back and the children climbed in, letting themselves be tucked in for bed, "Fine, but it's 9PM, bed time now."

20 minutes later, Heidi and Diesel were sneaking downstairs, the children fast asleep to feast on secret cookies and milk. They watched some TV as they did and Heidi leaned against Diesel, with a sigh. She looked up at him and said, "Can you believe that if it wasn't for the fact that your cousin was bananas, we wouldn't be married, have 6 children and more on the way and we wouldn't be sneaking cookies at night so the children can't beg for them?"

"It sounds so wild, it's almost too good to be true, me, marry the second in command of the Agency, who had me, before my retirement do my reports?!" Diesel asked as he bit into a cookie, "Barbaric."

"Hmm, yes, did you get the Luan and Carlos's tux's for Jeannes and Lester wedding? I got the girls and Robi's dresses, it's happening soon," Heidi reminded Diesel who whined and rubbed his head, "Nope, okay, get them tomorrow, they're ready for pick up."

"Yes ma'am," Diesel said, kissing Heidi gently on the forehead, "I love you, Heidi, I wouldn't change this world for anything."

"Neither would I," Heidi whispered, looking up at Diesel and pulling him down for a searing kiss, "Mmm, Diesel flavored cookies, my favorite…"

"Heidi flavored cookies…my super favorite," Diesel winked at Heidi and rubbed her pregnant belly, "I need another bite or two…" he nipped her lip and deepen the kiss, "One more round before we go to sleep?"

"Insatiable, how dare you speak of my libido when yours is worse than mine," Heidi hissed but she was getting up and pulling Diesel into the archway, "Now let's-"

"Mami, where are you?!" Carlos's asked from upstairs, "We can't sleep without you!"

"Daddy, come on, the Terrors are terror-ing without parental guidance, jumping on the pillows!"

"Raincheck on the fucking…" Heidi said kissing Diesel, "Close up shop, I'll go wrangle the kids to bed, again…"

Diesel saluted Heidi, locked the doors and turned off everything. When he came into the room, the children were in bed, asleep and Heidi was nodding off as well. He kissed her temple and whispered, "Good night, Mommy…"

"Good night, Daddy," Heidi whispered back, as Diesel crawled into bed and she turned the light off.

Thank goodness for weird cousins and traps indeed.
