Kim Possible: The Sitch Of College: Year's End I-I

Chapter 3: A Stress-relieving Idea

Kim and Ron continued to stare in shock. They couldn't believe that the man they were speaking to was Giselle's father.

"So you're Giselle's father?" Kim said in disbelief.

The man sighed, "I know. Talking to the father of the psycho girl who tried to knock you off the other day with an army of evil robots. Probably a big shock for you, isn't it?"

Kim and Ron were at a loss for words. They didn't know what else to say without hurting Scott's feelings. Giselle's turn to villainy was probably a huge blow for him as Bonnie's turn to villainy was for her mother.

"Well, no, it's just that-," Kim started to say.

"Mrs. Stoppable," Dean Princeton interrupted. "I know this must be a real shock for you, but rest assured, Scott isn't here to cause you two or any of your friends harm."

"Then, why is he here?" Ron asked.

"Yes, why is Mr. Edward teaching here?" Kim asked. "Not that we're complaining."

"Protection," Dean Princeton said simply.

"Protection?" Kim and Ron said in unison.

"From what?" Kim asked in confusion.

"Well, we believe that Giselle may seek revenge against her father," Dean Princeton explained. "And that he might be in even more danger with Bonnie Rockwaller still out there as well. So the plan is for Scott and her niece to live here in Burbank so that you and your Team as well as Global Justice can give them protection."

"Why would Giselle want revenge against you?" Ron asked Scott.

"I think I know why," Kim spoke up. "It's because of what happened with Giselle and Bonnie when they were ten years old, right?"

"Oh, so you know about that?" Scott said in surprise.

"Bonnie's mother told us," Kim replied. "She said that you prosecuted Bonnie's father, right?"

Scott nodded, "That's right. I was really thrown for a loop when I heard that the daughter of Donald Rockwaller became a… super-villain, as they call her, I guess. I understand that you've had some personal history with her as well."

"You got that right," Kim groaned. "In high school, Bonnie was just my rival. She became a super-villain about less than a year ago; she's also our arch-nemesis replacing Dr. Drakken and Shego. Or as we now refer to them, Drew and Shea Lipsky."

Scott raised an eyebrow, "You don't say."

"She's been doing very sick and wrong things since then," Ron chimed in. "Wrong-sick actually."

"But we only recently found out that her father was a criminal," Kim added. "We never even met her father. Only her sisters and her mother."

"I see," Scott responded.

"And ever since we met Giselle, we've always thought of her as a Bonnie-wannabe," Ron added. "But we never imagined that she and Bonnie were best friends once upon a time."

"Well, the reality of it is that they were," Scott explained. "Bonnie was the only person Giselle could talk to often since our families lived next store to each other. And Giselle was homeschooled."

"Why was Giselle homeschooled?" Kim asked out of curiosity.

"It's because I was too busy with my work to bring her to and from school," Scott answered. "And work also required us to move from place to place every once in a while. Only, when we moved away from Middleton it was… more personal than that."

"So we've heard," Ron speculated.

"But you see, moving away from Bonnie and her family was not the only blow for Giselle," Scott pointed out.

"What do you mean?" Kim asked in confusion.

"Well, you see, the thing is…" Scott hesitated. "I'm not actually Giselle's father."

Kim and Ron's eyes widened in shock.

"You're not?" Kim and Ron said in bewilderment.

"Are you saying that Giselle was adopted?" Kim asked in disbelief.

"It's true," Scott said. "I adopted Giselle when she was five. Her real parents died in a car crash."

"Giselle never mentioned she was adopted," Kim said in disbelief.

"Well, she never bothers to tell us why she has a bad attitude either," Ron pointed out. "Now I think I see why."

"Uh huh," Rufus squeaked in agreement.

"I was close friends with Giselle's biological parents," Scott explained. "I was baby-sitting her when her parents died a long time ago. I took her in out of the goodness of my heart. We were close for a while. But as the years passed, I was always being bogged down with work. I was getting less and less time to spend with her."

"I guess that explains why Giselle was getting such a bad attitude," Kim speculated.

"And that incident with Bonnie and her father was the last straw," Ron added.

"Yes," Scott responded. "But one thing I don't understand. Why did Giselle decide to cause trouble like this now?"

"Giselle said that she had had enough of me and Ron overshadowing her," Kim explained. "And that when Senior and Junior asked for her help, she accepted."

"My guess is that Giselle was more influenced by Bon-Bon than we thought," Ron spoke up.

"No kidding," Kim groaned.

"Well, I certainly hope you catch those two trouble-makers and their accomplices and bring them to justice once and for all," Scott spoke. "I also hope you can forgive me for being partially responsible for Giselle's actions."

"It's no big," Kim said with a wave of her hand.

"Yeah, you didn't intend for Bonnie and Giselle to turn out like this," Ron spoke. "So, water under the bridge."

Scott smiled gratefully, "Thank you."

"We will have to tell our friends about this though," Kim informed. "Is that alright with you?"

"Of course," Scott said with a nod.

A thought crossed Kim's mind, "Did you say you have a niece?"

"I sure do," Scott answered. "My brother's daughter, Rosie Edward. She too had lost her parents sometime ago. I took her in soon after that."

Kim gasped, "Oh, I'm so sorry."

"It's alright," Scott spoke. "Rosie is currently living with me in the town house we have in Burbank. She also happens to be a really big fan of yours and your husbands."

Kim raised an eyebrow in interest, "Really?"

"And me?" Ron said in surprise.

Scott nodded, "She is. And she can't wait to meet you. I'm taking her to dinner at the 70s Diner sometime later. Would you like to have dinner with us later?"

"Of course," Kim said right away. "And I'd love to meet your niece."

"And I bet Rosie will love meeting you two," Scott added.

After finishing their meeting with Dean Princeton and Scott Edward, Kim and Ron were walking through the hallway and conversed.

"I can't believe that Giselle's father lives here now," Kim said.

"I can't believe Giselle was adopted," Ron said.

"Yeah, how did we never find that out about her?" Kim wondered aloud.

"Well, Giselle was more focused on being a pain than going through her life story," Ron pointed out. "Same with Bon-Bon. You didn't find out about her shaky relationship with her sisters until that one sitch with Dementor a few years ago."

"Ugh, don't remind me," Kim groaned. "I did not like being stuck to Bonnie at that time."

"Nor did I with Barkin," Ron added. "Speaking of which, if even of us get hit with that Bondo Ball thing again, let's make sure that we get stuck together."

Kim chuckled, "Agreed."

After finishing their exam, Tara, Hope, Liz and Marcella were having lunch together in the dining hall. As they ate, they conversed.

"Well, that's one exam down," Tara spoke up.

"Yeah, I don't know about you, but I thought it was a piece of cake," Hope added.

"And now we just have two more to get through this week," Marcella pointed out. "Shouldn't be so hard."

"Yeah, assuming no super villain decides to wreck it for us," Liz suddenly spoke in a serious tone.

Tara, Hope and Marcella suddenly looked nervous for their friend. Liz had been acting like this ever since the sitch with Giselle. They thought perhaps that maybe Liz was more traumatized by the ordeal than they had thought.

"Uh, Liz," Tara spoke up. "You know, if you're nervous about something, you can always talk to us."

"It-It's nothing," Liz said as she stammered. "I'm fine."

"You don't seem fine," Hope insisted. "Ever since the sixth with Giselle, you've been acting weird."

"Come on, Liz, just tell us what's wrong," Marcella insisted.

Liz sighed, "Ok, fine, I'll come clean. That whole thing with Giselle capturing us and almost turning us into robots… it was just too much. I know we've been through something like that before, like when Ron saved us from that Gill freak, not to mention those few times when Bonnie captured us, but still… And even worse, Giselle and Bonnie are still out there and could be planning to do something even worse!"

Marcella, Hope and Tara felt bad for her friend. She definitely was really stressed out about the whole thing. They wished there was something they could do to help her. That's when Hope came up with something.

"I've got an idea," Hope spoke up.

"What is it, Hope?" Marcella asked.

"Let's have a slumber party tonight," Hope suggested. "At me, Tara and Monique's apartment. We could get the other Monique, Zita and the other cheerleaders in on it as well. Spending time with each other in a nice safe environment could be a good way to relieve some stress."

"Good idea, Hope," Tara agreed. She turned to Liz and Marcella. "What do you guys think?"

"I think it's a great idea," Marcella said. "Right, Liz?"

Liz thought for a moment, "Well, yeah. I guess spending time with all of you is just the thing I need."

"That's the spirit," Hope said with a bright smile.

"Should we get Kim on it too?" Tara asked.

Hope nodded, "We can ask her, but knowing Kim, I think she'll want to spend tonight with her husband as usual."

"Hehe, true that," Marcella agreed.

Liz chuckled too.

Meanwhile, back in Bonnie's lair on the moon, Bonnie had just been listening in on everything that her ex-friends had been saying. The chips she had implanted in Liz and Marcella had allowed her to hear their entire conversation in the dining hall.

"Hmm, a slumber party, huh?" Bonnie said with a smirk. "Not only would that be a useful diversion, but it might be a good way to get some dirt."

Bonnie chuckled evilly as she continued to listen for any useful information that she could use against her enemies.
