Connor walks along an unfamiliar cave, while his mom is hunting for their meal. Inside sits a cloaked figure. "I knew you'd come, my boy." the figure said as it turned around. Its face was disfigured and it had a deep voice. Connor stepped back. "I heard you know why I'm here."

Over the years, the 16 year old honed his abilities as best he can since that close call with the huge demon when he was 10. The boy has become quite ruthless when it comes to demon life. His ruthlessness had gained him the nickname 'The Destroyer'. Connor was able to help his mom more over the last couple of years due to his dedication. Along with that, the boy has become quite determined to find a way out of Quor'toth. Every demon he has killed, the boy had interrogated thoroughly. Every demon pointed towards the same place.

Now, Connor isn't always as hard as he is when he's killing demons. When it comes to his mom, he's a softie. The boy will always have a weakness for his mom. She sacrificed everything so she could give him the best life possible. She gave him her food when the hunting went dry and he was hungry. She sacrificed her safety protecting him. She even sacrificed her time, teaching him to fight and track.

Tracking is what was able to lead him to this dark mystic. A human shaped figure with demonic features that practices dark magic. According to all of his sources, this demon was originally from the real world before he felt the need to be in a place with a darker atmosphere.

"Yes, yes. You want to leave this wonderful place in exchange for a darker one." Connor couldn't understand how any being could choose to live in Quor'toth. This place was, quite literally, hell. You must have to be a demon to enjoy it here. Connor settles a glare that resembles a certain souled vampire on him. "Can you do it?" he demands.

"Oh, yes! I most certainly can! The question is, should I?" At that, Connor draws his concealed dagger made of a sharpened tooth he ripped from his most recent kill. "I can always make you." Connor says determinedly. At that, the demon mystic waves its hand and sends Connor flying back several feet. "You don't want to mess with me boy!"

At that, the young teen jumps up, and is ready to attack. Connor swipes out with his dagger and makes contact. The mystic starts bleeding green blood from the slash on his arm. It raises its arm towards Connor and starts mumbling an incantation. The boy can already tell if he finishes it isn't going to end well for him. Connor uses the axe that is connected to his arm and aims for the mystics head.

The demon's head is cleanly cut off. 'So much for not wanting to mess with him' Connor thinks. The teen starts walking deeper into the dark cave that was the mystics home. The demon must have something to help them get back to his mother's home. His mom has talked up how much better the real world is than here. Of course she has shared the darker aspect of the world they desire to get back to. Buffy couldn't lie to her boy.

After a few minutes of walking, Connor finally reaches his destination. It's a room in the cave that holds lots of books and potions and other magical items. There has to be something in here to open a portal. 'Good thing mom taught me how to read.' Connor thinks.

After two hours of reading through book after book, Connor had come to the conclusion portals into and out of Quor'toth don't exist. Although, there is a way to punch your way through the world. If you have enough power, you can punch open a rift that will take you to the real world. There has to be an item in here to amplify his strength. Or, maybe, they don't even need one. His mom is the Slayer, and he is pretty strong himself. With that, Connor gets up and runs back home to tell Buffy what he found.

Buffy was just returning with lunch when she saw Connor sprinting towards her. Thinking there is something chasing him, she draws her dagger from the waistband of her makeshift clothes. "Mom!" Connor yells as he comes to a stop in front of her. "What's chasing you? Where is it?" Buffy says as she frantically looks around.

"Nothing's chasing me, Mom! I know how we can get back to your world!" He says, a little excited and a little scared. This is the only world he has ever known. Going to a world he has only heard about, albeit good and bad things, is frightening. Buffy looks up at him with hope in her eyes. "Really? Tell me all about it over lunch! I gained quite an appetite while hunting our food." Buffy replies with excitement in her voice. She never thought she'd get to see her friends again. Never thought she would see Angel again. Never thought she'd get to introduce Angel to his now grown son.

Connor has grown into a brilliant young man. Watching him grow has been an honor. He's smart, cunning, and tough on the battlefield. Yet, with his mother, he's sweet, loving, and caring. Angel will be so proud of him.

Once the demon meat has cooked over a fire and they begin eating, Buffy speaks. "So how do we get outta here?" Connor looks up and explains how he found the demon mystic, how he killed him, and how he found the demon's lair.

"The book said that there are no portals in or out of Quor'toth, but if you find a hotspot you can punch a rift open if you have enough strength. Mom, you're the Slayer, You're stronger than I am! Plus I have super strength too!" Connor takes Buffy's hand. "Mom, we can do this. We can get out."

Buffy looks at her son and knows he's right. She's, of course, skeptical, but she owes it to her son to try. "Okay, let's do it!" With that, the two of them get up and head out to the front of their cave. Buffy has always been pretty good at sensing energy, and since that day that they moved in when Connor was an infant, she has sensed a certain energy around it. Not a bad energy, but an interesting one. No wonder the energy she has felt since day one was their ticket out of Quor'toth. Just her luck. With that, Connor and Buffy punch at the energy at that same time. Buffy expected their fists to just punch at air, but they connected with something. Whatever it is cracks, and Buffy can see the same thing she saw the night she arrived in Quor'toth.

They look at each other before striking at the energy again. The crack becomes bigger. Over and over again, Buffy and Connor strike at the energy until the rift is big enough to go through. Right before they can step through, a demon that looks like something out of Scooby Doo jumps into the rift. Connor follows it through, knowing that it's probably going to cause havoc on the other side.

In the Hyperion, Angel and co. just finished dealing with some see through slugs that infested the hotel. All they know is that The Destroyer is coming and those things were scared of it.

Fred sits up on the red couch in the lobby. "The Destroyer! I remember The Destroyer's coming!" She says looking scared. "Yeah, we get that. Any idea when?" Cordelia asks. Fred looks fearfully towards the middle of the lobby. "I think, now." She says as a ripple makes its way through the air.

Suddenly, a demon twice the size of a human jumps out of the rift. Following it, a teenager wearing, what looks like, skin of an animal. The teenager kills the demon using an axe attached to his arm. He, then, turns back to the group of people he doesn't know.

Angel is looking at the teenager with curiosity. There's something about him that seems familiar. There's a scent that's coming off him that he instantly recognizes. Angel tilts his head up slightly, and inhales deeply, drawing in the scent of the teenager. His eyes widen. The vampire is looking at the teenager with a new kind of softness and hope. The teenager is looking at him curiously and suspiciously.

"Connor."
